Well actually, I just became the King not too long ago, and I still don't have the quest.
Also, can you only get into the Lodge if you have the quest selected?
Just finished my 6th playthrough of Fable II, now to do it as a girl for once. Tomorrow I shall play Fable III.
Fable III is pretty sweet, but it doesn't seem to have that same magic as Fable II. Oh, and it LAGS. It even fricken' lags during PRE-RENDERED CUTSCENCES. What the fuck, seriously.
Other than that, it's still pretty legit.
Man, game was great, and then BAM! bullshit king part. literally everyone died for me, and I owned all of the property in albion and donated every cent that I got to the treasury. But because I took the good choices it's impossible for me to raise the money required by playing the game normally and not leaving the console on for hours or exploiting somehow.

By the time I was king I was getting 50,000 gold every 5 minutes. I just did a few side quests and I had more than enough gold.

I guess I just didn't do enough side quests. I was getting approx. the same amount you were getting. Maybe I should have waited longer. Oh well, the people come back after about 15 ingame days of gameplay anyways. Or so i've heard.
Going to replay as girl. Good or Evil? Seems like playing Evil may fuck you later in the game.
Playing Evil has more benefits, actually.
I'm not sure of what to expect from Fable III, I've heard of all the bugs, glitches and lag issues so I'm not too sure if I'm going to enjoy this game. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

The bugs and glitches aren't all that common. The lag only occurs when the game is loading an area for me.

That's good to hear. The main thing I'm worried about is the whole save corruption thing though I've heard that's rather uncommon.

I've completed the story twice and I haven't seen a bug or glitch yet to be honest, apart from the gold trail glithing out sometimes, but that's only a minor annoyance.

i beat the game and no npcs are there in the game world except guards, All the stores are closed and all the houses are vacant.
and i hear people talking to me when i enter a part of a map but no one is there
is my character going mad :saddowns:

It's pretty obvious when it says [SP]Estimated castualties: 6digitnumber and that most/everyone dies, they even say that numerous times in the game.[/SP]
I'm going to cheat and amass over 6 million gold before the king part on my second playthrough so I can keep the promises AND win.

Is it possible that if i buy all the stores and houses (then rent them out) and stuff it will trick the game to make new civillians?

go to the sunset house and get the million bucks from the demon door, and then buy shops first and then houses.
