Yeah... I'm also kind of pissed because the map in fable KEEPS CHANGING. I mean, seriously, what the fuck? That just reeks of laziness. Can't even bother to stick with the same god damn map.
Yeah, but at least the Fable - Fable 2 transition had was handwaved by having "more accurate maps", and they at least kept the same basic shape. Fable 3's map is missing most of the land around Bloodstone.

It feels like you have to do the money exploit to do anything good after becoming king. It's stupid.
Ok, so I just became King, about to start the trial, and I have 4.8 million gold. How long do I have to avoid the huge clusterfuck everyone's taking about because I'm currently short 2 million gold, I believe.

[sp]Day 151(or something around that number) is the last possible day to do shit before the attack. Try not to start the hearings, and get your 2 million gold then.[/sp]

[sp]Day 124 is your last day. Don't do anything in the court untul you have about 7 million on that day.[/sp]
Couple things.
Being able to get Jack's Hammer, and the Dragonstomper .48, the two highest DPS weapons in the game, in the same playthrough is a little ludicrous.
(Got Jack's Hammer in the Auroran Mine, and the Dragonstomper .48 in the Sanctuary chest.)
And if one person equals one gold, why not just have everyone donate a single gold piece.
Otherwise great game.

I guess that's where the tax rate thing comes in, but it seems you can only tax the bottom bracket of the economy. Also, Lionhead studios is horrible at economics and geography. I wonder what other subjects they're horrible at now.
[editline]9th November 2010[/editline]
And if they're intentionally changing Albion to give it a new feeling, then why not just make a new country to be in.

I recommend that you don't zoom into an area then walk around it. If you do, you will rage.

They left it as Albion because that's part of the Fable legacy. And besides, they're big on the whole "watch how things change, doesn't that feel real?" thing.
What the fuck, that [sp] brothel decision is pure evil. They essentially force you into taking a MASSIVE sum of money and then feel bad about it. I didn't, but still...
I'm also in debt around 1 million as I am going to see the wealthy patron. How much time do I have? [/sp]

[sp]Wealthy Patron is the last mission of the last day before the endgame begins, don't finish that mission if you aren't ready Just keep doing quests and exploring while your rental properties generate you money.[/sp]
I have 17 million Gold, from rent and nothing to do with it =/
YOU have 17 million, or the kingdom?
I have 17 million Gold, from rent and nothing to do with it =/
If you don't want that gold, I'll take it off your hands.
Okay, I might buy Fable 3, any hints(no spoilers)? Also, how are the loading screens?

1. Save up a LOT of money before becoming king/queen.
2. They're not nearly as bad as Fable 2, they're shorter and the areas are (slightly) bigger.
Playing through a second time, I've really noticed a lack in polish with a lot of things around the game. Like for example the reuse of the same models for multiple major scenes. Examples: Generic noble model being used for the ghost in the search of the lost play, Chicken suit being given in the chicken quest and being used for the search of the lost play, ect.
And something that got me horribly on the first playthrough was the scene with [sp]Reaver shooting the peasant giving a speech. He was shot multiple times without bullet holes or blood appearing, horribly unrealistic.[/sp] Not to mention how in a lot of major scenes the lipsyncing is horrible.
Then there's the factor of gameplay. Something I liked in Fable 2 was the weapon variety, and they even talked about katanas and cleavers in weapon development videos. For whatever reason though, they were cut. And several other features have been cut also, like trading your mutated weapons and such. Oh, and lets not forget to mention how easy a lot of these fights are. I can only really count 2 actual boss fights in the entire game.
And then there's just a ton of simple glitches that should've been caught pre-release. Examples: Sliding animation when in another player's world, exiting the dye screen and not being able to leave the sanctuary, retaining cosmetic statistics upon second playthrough, ect.
I really enjoyed Fable 3 for what it offered, but it feels like an unfinished experienced.
Does anyone know what was in the patch?
I just realised something about the ending. [sp]You never kill the Crawler. Sure you stop the darkness from wiping out Albion (or not) and you kill Walter, but he just says you removed the darkness, not that you killed it. And Theresa outright tells you you can't kill it or stop it. Plus the Dark Minions and Sentinels are still atttacking Aurora.[/sp] Do I smell DLC which extends the main story?
I smell another horrible ending in Fable 4.

Maybe, I for one wouldn't mind an extension of the story.
Did you guys have [sp]the people killed or Elise killed[/sp] in the beginning?
Did you guys have [sp]the people killed or Elise killed[/sp] in the beginning?
Didn't make a decision, everyone died. Fuck your morality.
[sp]I save and married Elise on my good save.[/sp]
YOU have 17 million, or the kingdom?
Me, Personally.
I had enough money before hand to do the final battle with no losses.
Now the game is finished the Treasury has nothing.
Did you guys have [sp]the people killed or Elise killed[/sp] in the beginning?
I've done both, but [sp]I usually let her die for some reason. I'll most likely let her live next time, as you get to meet her/him (depending on sex you play as) later on[/sp].
Didn't make a decision, everyone died. Fuck your morality.

I [sp]killed Elise[/sp] on my first game, I don't know why. I started a new game and [sp]saved Elise[/sp] but I really don't want to go through Reaver's "game" again. That was the worst part, I think.
That choice has no influence on your morality [sp]and you see your "girl/boyfriend" again later on so I kill the villagers[/sp]
What's your least favorite/most aggravating part of the game?
What's your least favorite/most aggravating part of the game?
THE FUCKING MAP!!!
As stated above.
What's your least favorite/most aggravating part of the game?
[sp]Reaver's Game, Hobbe cave are some of the most annoying parts for me. I'm sure there's more though.[/sp]
My most aggravating part is having to have a Gold to get alot of good weapons and having things like the long hair hairstyle really rare and randomly obtainable.
