I hate [sp]Reaver's game, the beginning when you can't do anything but follow them a 1 mile an hour, and the train part[/sp] I know a lot of people are hating on fable 3 now, but I still think it's pretty fun, I mean there are things that pissed me off and it didn't live up to expectations, but that just because of Peter being a jackass faggot, but I still think it was worth it.
Yeah, I really like Fable 3, too. The dark cave thing towards the end wasn't hard, just really annoying.
Well that was quite underwhelming. Was expecting more to do with The Spire and Theresa not some random enemy.
Am I the only one who feels hugely disappointed? It feels so... I don't know... Lacking, and rushed, and I don't feel engaged to do anything. :(
I think I'm going to reinstall Fable: TLC. Best in the series by far, most interesting towns and the best story out of the three really.
Which is another thing, the only thing in the games that seems to be consistent is Theresa. And the world keeps getting smaller. :smith:
Reaver's game was stupid, aggravating, and the most difficult part of the game for me. I think they made it go on for too long, by the third wave I was pissed off.

No, you aren't.
What
Reaver's game was pretty short and not even difficult

I agree, reaver is still annoying though.
What

Yeah, Reaver's game was 4 short rounds and you had Page to help (by being a bullet sponge but whatever). The Arena and the Crucible both had 8 rounds. Though the Arena was the only one I considered fun. The rest lacked the whole "I'm being watched by 1,000s of people as I fight for my life" feeling. The Crucible was more "I fucking hate Hobbes" and Reaver's game was more "Fuck you Reaver!"
I beat the game a couple of hours again, and I'm kind of upset on how abruptly it ended. But still, [sp]Goddamnit Walter. I would've dragged him through the desert as many times as needed to make sure he made it. And then the fucking Smoke Monster fucks you over one last time. I think he was one of the best characters in Fable in a long time.[/sp]
And then that's it. Theresa pretty much says, "Thanks, later." and leaves. No more hearings and decisions to make. I was perfectly fine with everything up until the final battle.
I think I made poor choices off-handedly, though: After I removed the alcohol limit, everyone was vomiting all over my castle. Then I had a kid with Elise, stood in front of her for two in-game days, and tried to have another, and suddenly I got an STD. Ok.
Then it turns out my kid is black. I've yet to decide what to do with Jamal Lebron-James Washington.
For fuck sake. How am I supposed to have an orgy? The Reaver Industry pistol (forgot the name) needs me to have an orgy. How can I do that when I can only fuck the person I'm holding hands with. FFS Lionhead, think this shit through.
old quarter has some hookers. Dunno how to pop them

Wait, you, can, remove, the booze limit? What was the current limit, and can you drink over the limit? I got a new reason to get Fable 3 for my evil hero.

Logan had a limit to how much a civilian could drink in any day. When you become king you can choose to remove the limit (which costs money, bizarely) the down side is EVERYONE will be puking all the time. You can keep the limit with no change. You can ban drinking altogether for everyone but the rich and you'll get money from the rich for it.
He means you get to choose the alcohol laws for Civilians. Drink as much as you want, not at all or can drink but not to a stupid level.
You get to choose between those three.
You can drink as much as you want as a Hero if you have the beer.
The most disappointing aspect of the game was [sp] The Darkness bullshit. I feels like they basically said "Ok, we dealt with logan, who's gonna be the bad guy now?" "Uuhh, how about Darkness, thats pretty evil, right?"[/sp] Felt like it was shoehorned in...
Is there anything to actually do after completing the game? I've done all the quests and don't know what to do.
i really hate weapons
seriously now i can only have a hammer and sword? that's bullshit
also them turning slow time and summon creatures into potions was dumb although slow time was pretty op in 2
I'm upset that there were no 'life changing' events.

Wait for the awesome DLC and microtransactions. Because we all love those.
[sp]Atleast we dont go to jail and get shaved in this one[/sp]
I've got to say, while I did like this game, I think in terms of style it should have been more like the launch trailer. There was a distinct lack of statue-toppling, flag-waving and clandestine-meetinging.
Man me and a friend have a utopia kind of vision for the final Fable game. We thought it'd be amazing if the final Fable game was literally HUGE. Like World of Warcraft kind of huge with all kinds of areas covering all of Albion, Aurora and maybe even more lands! There'd be 4, maybe 6 player coop, everyone doing great fun adventures. Imagine, you're fighting off hordes of ghouls, you're about to be outnumbered but then you see the ghouls blow up. You turn left and see a cannon your friend is controlling very far away, he saves your life, your other buddy runs to you and saves you, you all have a laugh about it and go to one of the many towns (Brightwall? :buddy:), go to the pub and have a drink. While you're having a fun drink or trying to make some random chick fall in love, you hear the villagers scream outside. You run outside and see a buddy just sprinting as fast as possible to cover. Why? THERE'S A DRAGON BEHIND HIM! You all then get together, beat the crap out of that stupid dragon and then go explore in random places. There'd be all kinds of stuff too like for example big bounty quests like 'X person has did Y horrible crime and he was last seen in Z! Bring the person alive (Touch system? Carry? Rope?) or dead. Big reward!' or or hunting down bandits at night in the streets of.. Bowerstone?
If not, then I'd at least hope for a big huge desert. I like big wide open spaces, New Vegas did not have what I was expecting. :frown:
Oh and we were also thinking Fable 4 might be set in the Renaissance period. :buddy:
I wouldn't play that version.
Anyone wanna co-op? Gamertag: killa kalla
Anyhow, I think I should play through again. I rescued Elise or whatever her name was, but then I became the king and can't find her. I even restored the orphanage, just to see if she would come back :smith:
Oh and we were also thinking Fable 4 might be set in the Renaissance period. :buddy:
Considering that they're unlikely to go back in time and Fable 3 was set in an industrial era, I doubt it.

Nope.
I guess even if you are 'bad', you have to be good and not harm him. :frown:
It's pretty funny how obviously they cut stuff from the game at last minute to sell later as DLC.
Notice how your dye stand has empty spaces in it? Those were originally reserved for the other normal dyes in the game, for example, the black, cream and turquoise dyes, but they decided to cut them from the game and are now selling it on the marketplace for 80 MSP. "Including the long awaited Black dye!" Long awaited? No kidding...
Everyone knows Day 1 DLC is bullshit, but if you look at Understone for example, it looks just like it's ripped from the main game (like it is) and is now on sale for 400 MSP.
Fucking shameful.
EDIT: And when I say "they cut it" I'm talking about Microsoft.

To have an orgy you just hold hands with each one you want to do and take them to the bed you want do it in then with the last one press on the sex bit when you interact with the bed.

None of this game is hard cos its meant to make you feel ''powerful'' as peter molyneux emphasises so much in this almost laughable interview:

it also proves how much bullshit he talks about the game.
