It's pretty funny how obviously they cut stuff from the game at last minute to sell later as DLC.
Notice how your dye stand has empty spaces in it? Those were originally reserved for the other normal dyes in the game, for example, the black, cream and turquoise dyes, but they decided to cut them from the game and are now selling it on the marketplace for 80 MSP. "Including the long awaited Black dye!" Long awaited? No kidding...
Everyone knows Day 1 DLC is bullshit, but if you look at Understone for example, it looks just like it's ripped from the main game (like it is) and is now on sale for 400 MSP.
Fucking shameful.
EDIT: And when I say "they cut it" I'm talking about Microsoft.
There's a cave just outside Bowerstone Old Quarter which is border up an obviously the entrance to where Understone should be.
FUCK YOU MICROSOFT. Screw with someone else's game.

None of this game is hard cos its meant to make you feel ''powerful'' as peter molyneux emphasises so much in this almost laughable interview:

Jesus Christ. He pretty much just said "we're just trying to appeal to the lowest common denominator and the thickies." And he says "almost 50% didn't use half the features. No one used those features." WHAT ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO AREN'T RETARDS?
Has any DLC been announced?

I thought the empty spaces were for the Aurora quest

There's a petition going on in Lionhead Forums right now, but of course it's not going to go nowhere because nobody gives a shit about the consumer.

i finally completed my set and then my save was overwritten or something

Yeah I saw that. It's just a shame that the few devs that post just ignore any complaints and act like it's the shit. At least the mods have some sense, but they have no sway with the game.

Anyhow, I think I should play through again. I rescued Elise or whatever her name was, but then I became the king and can't find her. I even restored the orphanage, just to see if she would come back :smith:
I've wondered this, too. Where do you find Elise after becoming king?

[sp]There's a quest where you have to rescue this guy's wife after first meeting Page. You'll find her there.[/sp]

I did that quest on my first game but I'd [sp]had Elise killed[/sp] so I guess that's why.

Almost 50% of the people didn't use ALL the features? So you're just going to drop them and piss off the bulk of people who do? It's not even a matter of being a casual vs. hardcore, it's the fact that some people prefer different combat styles. I liked customizing my dark god character in Fable 1. If you want

Cutting out features because a portion of people didn't use them? What about the people who did? It's not even about being casual or hardcore, it's about how people want to play the game. I loved my evil necromancer god type character in Fable 1, and I'd like spells that did something other than splash damage. If you don't want all the characters to look the same, then use stat buffs and make the alignment modifiers seem more significant. Also, being powerful quickly in the game without some sort of real challenge make me not feel deserving of the power. I also didn't look like most other players because I actually had a variety of armor/clothes to mix and match with, along with cooler facial hair and hair styles. I want my power beard and mustache back.
I really hate how they just cut everything they put in the game. If LH is actually curious about why their games keep sucking when people are so hyped for them, it's because they make these horribly unnessecary changes.
One thing I'd really like added though, if they don't want to make the game harder overall, make it so that there's a difficulty modifier. Making it modifiable of the effects of being knocked out or how strong your enemies are would really, really make the experience more fun. If they had such a modifier I'd modify the game to have it so getting knocked out counts as death and I have to revert to a save point, as I'd actually care about staying safe in combat.
I like part 2 =)
After Reaver's game while Page and Reaver were talking, Page and my character were jumping around. Is this normal/did this happen to anyone else?
Everyone interested in co-op gaming on Fable 3, there is now a Gamertag Exchange thread posted in the Facepunch Fable Group, so don't be shy to post your info there!

After seeing Elise and telling her to dump the guy for you, where do I find her?
[editline]12th November 2010[/editline]
Where do I find the pie maker shops? After buying level 2 or 3, I can't find any.
Did fable 2 come out on pc?
Peter Molynuex is like an English Steve Jobs.
I'm yet to play Fable 3 but I hope there is a jack of blades reference.

Outside the orphanage, about 2-3 days later.

Wish I could, no XBL Gold, I wanted to get the weapon achievement, can you still gift items to people who are using Xbox Live free?

To my knowledge, no. And Microshaft is very cheap with the way they handle subscribed gold vs unpaid online.
Anyone want a code for Potions, Power Suits, Tattoos and Another Dog?
Sure.

You get a quest to meet her in Bowerstone Industrial a few days later.
Just finished my second playthrough. Benevolent ruler, saved all the people and didn't die once.
Still waiting for my Hunter's Lodge and Wolfsbane quests though. *sigh*
I finished the game [sp] and saved over half the population, now the little that remain besides the dwellers hate or fear me and no shops have any owners. Will the people come back, and is there an easy way to get people to like me again? I bought every building in the dweller camp and set the rent low but I don't have enough money to do that everywhere.[/sp]
I don't have enough money to do that everywhere.
Go make some money then. Contrary to popular belief, the minigames actually pay pretty well, especially the level 5 pie making.
After you're done with Dweller camp, proceed to Brightwall and start grinding money with pie making or Lute playing if you prefer and approximately 10 minutes of grinding later,
you should have more than enough money to start buying some houses there, then just repeat the process until you get enough income from your real estates alone.
The way I'd do it would be to systematically buy out every house from each region, so after Brightwall, I would proceed to Bowerstone Market, then Industrial and so forth.
Millfields is just full of very expensive mansions, so I wouldn't recommend investing in them just yet.
Why can't I find any fucking pie making mini-game shops/carts?

Check Brightwall. There's several right infront of the clothes store.
