That's what I did.
It's either that, be evil, spend a LONG time saving enough money for businesses and/or houses, or be millions of monetary units in debt.
That's what I did.
Can you still do that? I definitely do not want to spend 6-8 hours a day doing nothing waiting for 8-10 million.
When's Fable 3 coming for the PC?
Can you still do that? I definitely do not want to spend 6-8 hours a day doing nothing waiting for 8-10 million.
I dunno if the patch fixed it, you could just delete it, though you will have to play offline.

fucking December already, this needs to be added into the OP if it isn't already.
Can you still do that? I definitely do not want to spend 6-8 hours a day doing nothing waiting for 8-10 million.
You can still do it. If you do it for 5 minutes, you'll end up with 10 million+ moneys. Then I just bought a bunch of businesses, and donated 10 mil or so to the treasury, just in case. What really creeps me out, is Hobson. "Sometimes I'll stand here for hours and just stare at all the money." "I've slept under the gold and can report nothing but restful nights." Jesus fuck what is wrong with him?

All I have to do is to delete the whole patch? Because when I start gifting, it saves.
Something has always bothered me about Fable.
In the original Fable, Jack would carry 2 masks on his torso that we always assumed represented the Queen of Blades and the Knight of Blades. At the end of the original Fable, you slay Jack, and he vanishes. In Fable: The Lost Chapters Jack makes another appearance, but this time in his true form, and that is the end of Jack. However, we were never told what happened to the 2 masks that Jack carried with him, so how come Lionhead hasn't used this to bring back a true enemy of Albion without the plot loophole? Though it's said that William Black killed both the Queen and the Knight inside of the void, you can easily skip around that.
Well, it's really hard to argue about something which could easily be just decoration.
As far as I know, those two extra masks haven't been referred to in any way throughout the lore, and even if they were, the way I see it is that they were destroyed with Jack anyway, so they're long gone.
Just like you said, the Queen and the Knight are dead, and besides that, Jack was the only one who was able to transfer his soul into his mask, which further proves that the extra masks were just decoration or memorabilia.

What patch? I was never told there was a patch. When did this happen?
When I bought Fable 3 and started it, it asked me to patch the game. So I am basically fucked.
Is the story of fable 2 relevant to the story of fable 3? is i recomended that i play it before fable 3?
Is the story of fable 2 relevant to the story of fable 3? is i recomended that i play it before fable 3?
Not really.
What patch? I was never told there was a patch. When did this happen
Couple of weeks ago I think. If you're not using Xbox Live, that explains why you haven't got a notification.
A patchlog would be much appreciated though.. I'd like to know what I'm loading.
To bad the enemies before the final boss was way harder than the fucking boss..
Rate agree if you got the "You can't bring me down" achievement.
To bad the enemies before the final boss was way harder than the fucking boss..
Well atleast there was an actual boss this time around...
Not really.

The weird thing is, I have XBL gold and I've had it for over a year and I haven't gotten any notification.
Come on guys, let's get this thread back to first page.
Bump for great justice!
So I finished The Pen is Mightier... and I got an amazing...
NOTHING!
I didn't get a god damn thing for scouring Albion and Aurora for those 30 fucking books.
I just went on a murder spree for fun (wasn't gonna save it) and I accidentally press up on the d-pad. That takes me to Road to Rule and, lo and behold, saves my game, right after killing 20 people or so. That was my good save too.

Karma is a bitch.
Still, they always enter my home when I am playing with my daughter, or daughters, but when I try to improve their home while I own the place(while they pay me), they tell me to get out.
Karma is a bitch.
I was married to some random servant chick and when I went back to the castle (which is where I chose to live), she said, "I can't believe you killed all those people..." and "Who're you gonna kill next?" It made me feel bad. :frown:
Indeed, they hate you for killing people, even if it was an accident. Anyone did that quest where you have to play a game and save a woman(and can kiss her even if your character is a woman).
I want to fight more Sand Furies as well.
Also, Fable 4 or 5 or another Fable game should have a final boss that is female(and is not disappointing like a certain game). By that, I mean the final boss should be like Fable 1/TLC, except female.

I don't care about gender, it should just be something really evil and really powerful.
Man, I just can't be arsed to save up all those millions to be completely good. I only get like 25k every 5 minute

Use the money gift glitch.
[editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
Since my save is already screwed up, I might just go and kill every citizen for fun. Then it will be only children left. Children are annoying when you're king, they follow you around, one even got me stuck between a door to an upstairs house and him. I couldn't get by him and I couldn't kill him and he wouldn't fucking move.

The battle between William Black and the Court is without a doubt the most darkest and world-shattering conflict in Fable's history.
You think the darkness in Fable 3 was bad? When the Court invaded the world, they first burned down the ground until the sky was black from smoke, and then they raised the oceans into the sky and flooded the world and finally twisted everyone's minds until they all went insane.
You think Jack of Blades was a terrifying villain? Jack of Blades was a pussy compared to the Queen of Blades.
Again, according to the lore, when William scaled Albion's highest mountain, Ruon, to challenge the Court in a final battle, he first slew the Knight of Blades, then Jack of Blades, but when he challenged the Queen, their battle lasted for weeks, and "mountains were raised and valleys were born by their mighty blows."
Does that sound like any of the Fable boss encounters you know? It sounds more like a battle between gods to me, and I would love to see it in a Fable game.
When I bought Fable 3 and started it, it asked me to patch the game. So I am basically fucked.
You can delete patches, though you have to play offline to keep it unpatched.

I can't. I don't have a 2nd controller.

FUCK YEAH. Please make the Queen of Blades be the final boss either in the next game, or the whole series. She is basically the strongest motherfucking bitch in the whole series.
By the fuck yeah quote, I mean I want to fight and defeat her.

That would be the best boss battle ever. I must see it in the next game.
Hell, there should be a Fable game just like the last part of Fable 1, except against the Queen of Blades. Then again, there was no guild(I think) during the Court. Either this part, or in the future, have her come back and let the final battle take place in Ruon.
