Let's get this bitch back to the first page. :clint:
Hell yeah. :clint:
Here's a video for all the people who don't quite yet know whether they should get the game or not:

It explains the 7 most important things you should know about the game.
Oh my god I hate how he pronounces Albion. Make it stop!

Yeah, I noticed it too. Albe-ooon!
So, has anyone gotten their Villager Maker codes yet? And maybe anyone got their copy dispatched early? Just some random thoughts :v:
Fable games would have been more favorably received if Peter Molyneux didn't always promise the world and then fail to deliver it.
He promoted Fable 1 by stating that, and I quote: "It's gonna be the best game ever."
Here are some features many of you might not know about that were promised to Fable 1:
-You could plant a tree and watch it grow in real time.
-You could cut down a tree.
-Armor and clothing would come in different sizes so you couldnt wear everything you found.
-Real aging not aging by level.
-If you killed some kids parents the kid would eventually grow up to try and hunt you down etc.
-Free roam, apparently one game tester got "lost in the woods for 15 minutes", supposedly on scale with Morrowind.
-Having to compete with other heroes around the world as well as villians (good/bad heroes more or less)
-If you were to clear a clearing next to a town of monsters or whatever, bandits might possibly move in and raid the town every once and a while for loots
-Become a Balverine.
-Ability to actually be a villain, as in join the bandits or dark side, not just do bad things and then finish the same story
-Ability to craft weapons and armor and color them yourself
-Gained "experience" by doing things, for example you actually built muscle from lifting heavy weapons, no stats so to say.
So maybe when you read all that and then finally have nothing of it in the final game, you can understand why many people were so upset with it. It's still good though, but not what it was promised to be. :frown:
Kind of like Spore?

Well I certainly haven't, and on top of that, the program that runs the Villager Maker (Microsoft Silverlight) has some issues with me; it won't make the character appear on the screen. :raise:
Anyone have any suggestions as to how to make it work? I'm at a loss here.
What browser are you using?
What browser are you using?
Chrome. I also tried Firefox and IE but with no results.
Hm, try reinstalling Silverlight!

So if co-op now has two cameras, will you be able to play with someone on the same x-box?
Ha, thanks guys for keeping the thread alive, I've been kind of busy and haven't been able to tend to it much. I'll probably get to working on the achievement list later tonight or sometime this weekend.
You're so norty.
Cant choose between this or Fallout New Vegas.
ARGH!!!
Cant choose between this or Fallout New Vegas.

Depends on what you prefer mah boi.
Fallout New Vegas is an action RPG and definitely makes up for any faults in Fallout 3 and everyone loves a post-apocalyptic setting in a 'recreation' of Las Vegas.
Fable III is classified as an action RPG however to me it feels like a light action RPG with lots of casual elements that just make it very fun and of course the Coop and loads of features add on to that fun.
Story wise I personally think Fallout is stronger just because of the crazy amount of background and of course the past games. Fable does come close and neither are just 'another generic RPG'. I guess I can see why you're stuck.
Hey, Trooper, will you put the Achievements in spoilers tags or something? I really don't want to have anything spoiled. :frown:

Gamestop are fucking robbers. I wouldn't do business with them even if my life depended on it.
Gamestop just charged my credit card. I thought they don't charge unless they ship. :tinfoil:
Depends if you just pre-order it ($5) or buy it outright so it's ready to pick up.
Hey, Trooper, will you put the Achievements in spoilers tags or something? I really don't want to have anything spoiled. :frown:
It will have it's own section under the Treasure Chest and I will place a spoiler warning so you can fly by it and yes I will put spoiler tags on the description of the achievements.
I'm so glad I've got this Friday and all of next week and then a few more days after that week off due to Fall holiday. Shit's gonna be awesome. New Vegas till Fable 3 then Fable 3 till Fable 4 V:v:V

Butler: You will have your own butler, named Jasper, in the Sanctuary. He will make clothing and weaponry recommendations based on your current situation, and will be voiced by John Cleese.
