To me, late by a few months to a year. Since the announcement and first concept art/screenshots of Fable III you could catch on to it being similar to some sort of revolutionary time, French or American.
Well only 7 more days. What to do until then.

So, is there any tell of how long this game will last? Fable lasted me a good long while, and if this is 500 times better, I have to have it.

You mean how long the story is? I think it's fair to assume that it will be longer than Fable 1 or 2.
As far as overall replay value goes, it's really up to the player. How willing you are to discover all the secrets, play as different characters etc.

Could have played using a different aligned character, got the DLC, plenty of ways to have fun messing around. I guess you just have to be the type that can make a game last a long time.

Guess what. The video is only a few days old. I don't remember any exact information being released that Albion resembles revolutionary France, nor the style of the game being 18th-19th century.

Yeah but until a couple weeks ago it was coming at out on the 26th as well, now its been pushed back. They say for Optimization purposes but that's bullshit, They're just pushing Console sales to try and squeeze a few more nickels out before putting the PC release on the market and have 15000 people pirate it. I swear if I see 'Push (X) to Jump' when I'm playing on the PC I'm going to punch a kid, the first one I see

I did not state that the Lionhead developers explained Fable III taking inspiration revolutionary France or America. I said that from the first concept arts and screenshots released YOU could sum up that fact that they might have taken inspiration from those time periods.

I agree, if you PC players can mod, you a huge advantage of having even more fun than the game already gives. Also, your game will look more nice.
It just occurred to me, how would Fable 3 end? I'm wondering how Lionhead will go about this.
There really isn't a clear statement what you do once you have control of Albion, besides fulfill promises and such.

Wow. There was more sense of feeling and drama in that one clip than in entire Fable 2.
Almost feels like Fable 2 was just a tech demo and now they're releasing the real thing.
