I now have a copy of Fable III, I will not say how I got it, but it is obtained legally. Want me to play and talk about it?
No, because I may get so jealous I'll pull the NASA Astronaut deal, slap on a diaper, and track your ass down

fuck fuck fuck get in here. only .01 percent off.
In addition to this trailer packed with in-game cinematics, Fable III sent word today that all new copies will have a one-use code redeemable for free goodies in-game.
With the code, you'll get three skins - the Scottish Male (or Female) Hero (or Heroine) Outfit, the Highlander Tattoo Set and the Red Setter Skin (for the dog); and two potions, one for Slow Time, the other Raise Dead
I am so glad they are making cutsecnes into actual cutscenes.
I didn't like how they were handled in Fable 2.
Seems to be good so far. Just popped it in.

Wow, were actually winning against TF2? By a narrow 10 point margin, but still.
[editline]Eh, nevermind, we're doomed! :crying:[/editline]

Hopefully the PC version (When it comes out...) will have this too. Or maybe extra goodies since we have to wait so long.
The menu idea is awesome. When you press start you go to the sanctuary and you can change outfits etc.

Anyone notice this more and more? Special Codes to redeem stuff, trying to cut down on used game sales?
It's become sort of a trend.
Nice dynamic shadows too.

jesus christ, so many downloadable skins and shit
I love it
I'm probably gonna play Evil in Fable 3 since I've pretty much always played Good. It's always more challenging to be evil in the Fable games.
Just got confirmation of shipping :D
I really want this game but I want it on the PC.
If only they gave more info about the PC version.
If the PC version gets some good modding done, and isn't just a shit port, I'll definitely re-buy the game for it someday.
I'm gonna pre-order Fable III hopefully today.
My order was canceled :what:
My order was canceled :what:
What do you mean??
Apparently the credit card I used was denied, so Gamestop canceled it.
I must now endure being on hold.
I absolutely hate preordering from Amazon wait for release day and then find out it's been declined.

They actively encourage you to be an evil dick and have fun in Fable. How the christ is that more challenging than being a goody two shoes?
My order was canceled :what:
Wow, that sucks.
Didn't you place your pre-order back in June or something?
Way back in the beginning of July.
[editline]22nd October 2010[/editline]
With any luck they'll put it back through processing.
Just need a reply email already :f5:
So they cancelled it because... your credit card was denied? What does that mean anyway?
Well the credit card I used in July was cancelled a few weeks ago. I had forgotten I used that credit card for Fable 3, so when they tried to charge on it earlier this week, they sent me an email to update. I called customer service and I changed it. I replied to the email that I resolved the issue and apparently it didn't work again. I was sent another email telling me to update my credit card information, so I replied again today, thinking they charged it again when it hadn't fully changed. On the site the order is cancelled. So I'm not sure what's going on.
Question for people, to get some things rolling:
What alignment do you plan to be when you start Fable III? What alignment were you in the previous games?
I'll try to be Evil but Pure. My character on Fable II looks great like that so I'll keep the family tradition. :buddy:
Just started a hilarious quest called "The Game", it is a giant poke at Dungeons and Dragons. I just found a sword called the "Scimitar Of Baron Slaying +3", its description is "This weapon comes from the Artifacts and Armaments Codex for the popular game Hallows and Hobbes (3rd edition, revision 1.5.2.2.1.7.3.0.0.0.8b)." The quest givers are nerds arguing while you are doing the quest, about the mobs and stuff. Pretty awesome.

Ouch, you kind of shot yourself in the leg there.
Don't worry though, I'm sure it just takes awhile to update the information.

By D&D alignments, I'd say my character will probably be pretty close to Chaotic Good! It's been pretty much the same in previous games.
Just gotta think optimistically.

So uh, can you give us some pros and cons from what you've played?
