Yeah, I've tried a couple of times with both the 32-bit and 64-bit builds, I can't seem to get it to work. Is there anything I can send you/do for you to help you figure it out?
[editline]11th May 2014[/editline]
I'm having a few other issues with some GUI stuff as well, for example after changing resolution, the 'Yes' and 'No' buttons on the 'Keep resolution?' dialog aren't doing anything.
Everything's been noted, it's weird cause there are some known bugs, but I've never had anyone encounter gui problems/buttons not working, pm me your system specs and dxdiag info if possible, I'll see what I can do/figure out, close out some background apps, I've encountered some problems when a ram managing program was running in the background on other builds /: might be something like that in your case as well.
Thanks for all the info

I was having some fun with the character spinning around constantly as well but I quickly realised that was because my HOTAS' throttle control was being picked up, so I moved it to the middle and fixed that issue. :v:
hehe, yeah, all controllers work, that's why there are so many axis's to bind, so you can control your creations with what-ever and how-ever you want.
Sent you a PM, hopefully there's some useful information for you.
In the meantime I'll use my xbox 360 controller and play with everything else. :D
is it possible to make the, carts in thRs gaming
is it possible to make the, carts in thRs gaming
You mean gearing systems like on the Thrustmaster T500rs? At the moment this is not available, since we haven't had any chance to test such hardware (or any steering wheel for that matter) with the game yet, we'd love to implement it though! So we'll probably add some custom controls to just jump transmission instead of +1 or -1
Bah, no dice playing with my 360 controller either, the axes aren't mapped correctly for me by default, and of course I can't change them yet. I guess I'll have to wait a while until I can play. :v:

I'll send you a custom config file that's especially for the xbox controller and wasd layout (:

Oh that would be awesome, thank you! <3
oh damn, not exactly the fastest site to upload the demo :v:
no one would mind me creating a torrent of the demo, right? would be seeding off of my VPS which has a pretty hefty connection

alright, I'll just have to download the demo myself first :v: will PM you once I'm done!
ATTN: If you're having issues like I was where various GUI controls would not work and making things like saving, rebinding controls and setting graphics options impossible, then try running the game as administrator.
I think it's because all of those things caused the game to perform file I/O and, in my case at least, running without administrator privileges caused those operations to fail.
So, where can i download the game?

Should be updated, had to change the link, forgot to add it before I made dinner, my bad!

Middle click the rotation axis, and that will sepearte it, then on the left there is a button to delete all objects that aren't attached.
So, i can't change my key bindings for some reason, which is really annoying b/c the default controls are shit.

Click the box of the control you want to change so it turns red, then hold the key you want to bind it to.
If the UI doesn't work properly, refer to my post at the top of this page.
Thank you guys for replying and helping players while I was away, We'll be adding more tutorials about the different menus and methods you'll be able to do things with to help new members that aren't used to it yet
I just got enough orbs to unlock the glider wing, but at that point I had been playing for several hours so I'm taking a break. As far as I can tell that's the last part in the demo that can be unlocked; do more appear later or is that our lot for now?
My god, those default controls are awful.

It makes perfect sense, just not for the layout most of us use.

At this moment, yes. But with the next version (which will be far smaller in size might I add) will contain a secret part ;) )
The full version contains far more parts at this moment, but not available to the public yet, still lots of stuff to debug, plus the bugs/glitches/suggestions everyone had.

I look forward to it!
I notice the website mentions pre-ordering, where would I go to do this? I feel like I might want to be supporting you guys in the not-too-distant future.
I like the game so far but the way you have to build your vehicle is really unpractical. I think that a merge between the pipe builder and vehicle builder would be way better. That way you can dynamically shape the pipes and see the result directly, instead of having to guess the shape of the pipes.
Whoa, this seem's pretty awesome.
Is can you turn parts of your design ingame?
Like turning a thruster whilst driving?
If so, I'm so trying my hand at building a VTOL aircraft.
Demo is downloading now anyway, so I shall see.
Any idea of the price? Seeing as pre-orders should open soon (According to the website)

After the new demo gets uploaded and available, we'll get the pre-order going

Having the pipe building system in the vehicle builder system would be pretty impractical, it'd be too slow. It's pretty fast to just switch between the pipe and vehicle build system as it is, and you're not really guessing. As long as you can figure out the spaces between the blocks on parts it shouldn't be too difficult. We're looking into making it faster and easier but at the moment we're not planning to merge the two systems, maybe if we rework it completely, but that will be for the future.

In the demo no, in the full game you will, you'll get some parts to do this, as of which parts, those will become clear in the future c:
And the price will be announced shortly.
As a reminder, I'm not sure how much I'll be online today as our internet connection is turning to shit for the past days, I'm working as hard as I can to get it fixed but I can't promise anything. So if it takes a while to reply this week, it's caused by internet issues.
Thanks for understanding.

That explains alot actually.
My idea for programming in a game like this is to use specific shaped objects in a 2D WYSIWYG environment. See below.

Reminds me of mindstorms, we'll look into it, but it won't be implemented soon at all
