How the hell are you guys hosting a server for this? I'm trying to use Hamachi and it's not working.
i host it like a host a regular server, open port 27015 and tell people to connect via console (be sure to turn lan only off using this method)
Was playing this all night, good fun in coop.
Im getting the hang of being a Psi, the whole Dragon Psi ability is OP as hell.
Alright my planned loadout for the game.
Going to run around shooting and sniping and placing these grenades everywhere, when shit hits the fan, I detonate them all.

Grenades automatically detonate when enemies are near them.

get on my level
I like the graphics and gunplay, even if the story doesn't make any fucking sense at all. If there even is a story.
not sure how accurate this is but someone on /v/ wrote this up (spoilers obviously)

There's 3 endings to the game I think and one final ending which can be found on Youtube but it doesn't make any fucking sense and isn't really a true ending at all.
I hope it's not some pseudopsychological shit because then there's no real openness for a sequel.
The setting is cool and I really like fighting the mutants, I wish they had better AI though.

It is.
[sp]The protagonist is stuck in his own head, the entire game is a figment of his own imagination. The ending is that there is no ending and you're stuck in the endless cycle forever.[/sp]

yeah but that feels like such a copout ending.

I agree completely.
What's the best way to make yourself a ninja/swordsman that can actually survive for more than 5 seconds? I haven't really explored the implants well, I think I get what to level up and stuff
I kind of wish the melee combat felt more like the new Shadow Warrior. The melee combat in this feels like you are clonking them with a stick.

In fact, just have Dermal Sheath no matter what because otherwise no matter how much armor you have, you can easily be killed by absolutely anything at any time for any reason whatsoever. And I do mean that, you can be killed in a single shot from full health by any enemy on random chance. The Dermal Sheath will prevent that as long as you have energy. Then you can run around in light armor and absorb damage for a time safely. Or try to go for cloaking and just avoid being seen completely.
Fired this up and ran one of the single player Temple HQ missions. First guy I killed was "A Sick Person" according to what flashed on screen after I pulped him. There was an achievement tied to killing this individual. Prior to that, some time last year, I had gotten a similar achievement for killing "A Loving Father". You just know SOMETHING is up with your character mentally if, despite how such things could be true, they start branding people like that.
I think the best way to enjoy this game is fuck the story and just blow things up.
I accidentally killed someone when i used Invocation too close to a group of allies, and ended up killing half the team because nobody bothered to turn around to see what was gnawing off their faces.
Im still working on all 3 "Endgame" Psi Powers.
In case someone hasn't already posted it, there's a fanmade text revamp that cleans up the dialogue and parts of the interface.
[sp]So, i was trying to get Hypnotic Gate last night, unfortunately i didn't realize by killing the Werewolf on Mars you would not get it because he won't be at the start of the Level. Just a heads up to anyone hunting for those last psi powers.[/sp]
Coop is a nice way of getting some cash when you need it.
This game is certainly great. I've played 150+ hours according to Steam.
I'm silly overlevelled now. Currently at level 108 with all CyberTechs at level 10 and all powers and research unlocked. I think my money keeps resetting because I keep getting so much of it.

Too bad it's not very active, there's rarely any co-op servers and usually they're in NA and the netcode isn't very good either.
Recently receiving the game I'm pleasantly surprised how much I'm loving it and playing it. I honestly thought it was one of those "So bad it's sort of good and should play it for a dumb fun five minutes". Instead it's an rather awesomely complex game I'm already pouring hours into.
I would have loved to see the devs release the homebrew tabletop RPG they based the game on.
ehat surprised me the most is how, despite the mess they went through, they fixed their game with was basically a big surprise patch
Installed the game for the fourth time, went trough the tutorial and into the first mission
Got n0sc0ped by a soldier miles away
fun
I put on heavy armor as the first thing I did at the first armory and didn't have HP issues until I hit the snipers in New Eden and then the gunships later. And then the fucking cyberdemons.

Cyberdemons are fucking retarded.
It's a shame because the model is cool but gameplay wise it's just ridiculous
'lol 1 shot any class at any range your only hope is to take the heavy sniper and headshot'

It was kind of funny the first time I killed one. I felt really triumphant and was really shocked. "PRETTY SURE I JUST KILLED THE FUCKING CYBERDEMON, WHAT THE FUCK."
And then it respawned about a minute later. The rockets aren't even a threat, its the exploding shells it launches. It wouldn't be so bad even then if it at least didn't have that ridiculously short respawn timer.
Easiest way I found to kill them is to sneak up behind them while cloaking and stab them in the back of the leg :v:

Two or three shots will drop them even on the hardest difficulty, where even the two heavy sniper rifles can take more than a clip each.

We're currently broing it up in coop while trying to make sense of this fucking game
I really just wish this had a manual or a quick save
[editline]28th June 2014[/editline]
Seeing as it's source it shouldn't be too hard to hack it in right?

Your best bet would be to go into the AI tab in settings and modify it a bit. I've found the best setup is to have noise and vision detection on lowest, while AI reaction time and accuracy are at their best.
