Anyone having problem with sims 3? My key have only 16 digits and the installation request a 20 digit serial.
They said that all keys will be replaced with correct ones. Not sure when they will do it.
They said that all keys will be replaced with correct ones. Not sure when they will do it.
Okay, guess I'll have wait for play sims 3 ): too bad.
I know you did, I sent one back saying stop shitposting to up your count and leave Facepunch. [editline]16th August 2013[/editline] BF3 given away! (User was banned for this post ("Wise advice" - daijitsu))
I don't see how this post was ban worthy.
oh snip. Didn't read what MrBacon said. I'm glad they'll fix stuff.
so i decided to play mirrors edge again because of this bundle and i don't know if i became retarded over the past 2 years but the game can be really, really frustrating at times on a ledge and just because the developers didn't intend for the puzzle to be solved that way, i cant turn left or right and have to go the path that they intended, which doesn't even work sometimes and faith just simply won't grab a ledge so you have to try again like 5 times before she decides it's okay to grab cop bullet spread silly, sometimes you enter a room and they only manage to get 1 bullet on you but the next time you enter that same room all of their bullets connect and you die after 3 seconds of entering fighting cops is also silly sometimes and doing a no gun run is nigh impossible(especially at the end)
They just replaced the keys for the sims 3. Now instead of a single key for the starter pack you get three keys for the game and the two DLCs.
They just replaced the keys for the sims 3. Now instead of a single key for the starter pack you get three keys for the game and the two DLCs.
You have to buy it again or something? When will I get it?
I strongly suggest you guys try and register the keys via the official website (log in with your Origin account and register the key for the full game) before downloading the full game just in case it doesn't work. It works for me (didn't with the original key).
I don't see how this post was ban worthy.
It's cool he gave bf away and all but where does a dude with 35 posts get the right to tell someone to fuck off for having 30 it's a one day flaming ban, could be worse
You have to buy it again or something? When will I get it?
It just appeared in my humble bundle page. The keys were refreshed and hidden again.
They have new Sims 3 keys now on your humble bundle page.
It just appeared in my humble bundle page. The keys were refreshed and hidden again.
I got my keys in Generosity Thread. I guess I gotta ask they guy I got them from then...
If you want to make sure you key work you can try and register it by logging in the official website, it will then ask you to enter a 20 digits serial. For the DLCs I'm not sure yet. It's not via the code redeeming option because this one asks for a 15 digits code, it's probably directly done when installing the DLC itself.
I got my keys in Generosity Thread. I guess I gotta ask they guy I got them from then...
Sounds about right, just PM the guy. [editline]16th August 2013[/editline] I'm going to build a house in the sky and call it Valhalla.
Well shit, guy who gave me the keys is not responding.
So it seems with the Sims keys being replaced we may have more keys to give away. As my copy of the Sims 3 + expansions haven't been revoked or anything. Though I'm not positive on that...
Technically you can but it would fuck over whoever you gave the first key to because he's the one supposed to get the working key.
Yeah, I claimed the first key for myself, so I dunno about giving these out incase they aren't valid for any reason.
Yeah, I claimed the first key for myself, so I dunno about giving these out incase they aren't valid for any reason.
Make sure your claimed key actually works (check it on the official sims website) before giving your key or you'll fuck yourself over. I also accidentally installed and uninstalled the sims 3 consecutively because origin ran the installation, then asked me if I wanted to install the game and saying yes uninstalled it. What are you doing origin. And now pressing the install button doesn't do anything anymore. This is really shoddy.
They just replaced the keys for the sims 3. Now instead of a single key for the starter pack you get three keys for the game and the two DLCs.
They have indeed. Seems some people were lucky enough to get the game twice then.
Okay now the game is installed and the launcher said it's up to date, but it still wants to download 1.3gb updates. I don't even know.

As for the install thing, I've never seen it do that before, wonder what's going on there.
Okay now the game is installed and the launcher said it's up to date, but it still wants to download 1.3gb updates. I don't even know.
On mine there was like a 2GB update after that too.
Huh, I managed to register the original keys through Origin, so that should be fine right? As for the install thing, I've never seen it do that before, wonder what's going on there.
It seems like it just derped a bit because it got lost in its own process. It's fine now. And registering the key on origin doesn't mean you activated it, because the sims 3 uses its own launcher (which means you can use the DLC keys for steam if you bought the game here before, by the way). The original Humble Bundle key for origin was a Starter Pack, which didn't seem to work properly when actually installing and activating the game. The new separate keys however seem to work just fine.
The original Humble Bundle key for origin was a Starter Pack, which didn't seem to work properly when actually installing and activating the game. Then signed up on thesims3.com without any key, and after a few hours, the games were attached to my account. Also got the 500 simpoints or whatever.
Apparently you should be logged in to Sims community automatically when you got sims 3 on origin. But when i start the game i'm not. And when i try to log in to the community with my origin user and pass the page reload and then show me the same stuff that i need to log in. It doesn't tell me that i typed the wrong password or anything.
The Burnout Paradise recommendation is trying to make an account in game with the exact same username and password as your Origin details, and it should say "account exists already" or some such, and THEN you can log in. Maybe Sims 3 works the same way?
Origin sucks. A lot. [editline]16th August 2013[/editline] YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DO ALL THIS BULLSHIT! FUCK YOU EA!
Gave my Sims 3 codes to Cabbalistic, cause he asked for 'em. And yeah, the Sims 3 has such bizzare problems it's ludicrous
How do i register the sims 3 to get the simpoints? Can't see the serial code anywhere.
