Epic has reached a complete flip side where BL now has complete dominance of the server, Anyone who disagrees is completely just stupid.

Yeah kinda, but the people who dominated went and formed there own kingdom which carried over dominance, then JK which they carried dominance, then BL where they carried it again (for like two weeks) then back to JK and can't hold dominance anymore.

Is that video supposed to be ironic or something.
That music doesn't really fit in a game that's so slowpaced that there are times when you are literally just hanging around watching grass grow.
That was the idea, however the recruiting thing is serious.
To be fair it looks like PvP was the main aspect of the video, which can be pretty fast paced.

Maybe fast paced in comparison to the rest of Wurm.
I'm shocked, my house is still standing and in fair repair...

The town is growing now. I settled like 5 people down and there's still loads of unused land.
I also got some big farms you can grind farming on if you want.

The atazspocolypse has begun
Also new update today 1.2, which brought us:
Wagons that act as a cart except you can carry a lot more but they are also harder to make.
Crates that act as bsbs except you can transport them on ships, carts and wagons. You can also load forges, beds, chests and many more unmoveable items onto boats, carts and wagons.
Ship carriers, on which you can transport ships around on land
Ingame maps
Visible buffs, also new players get a bunch of new buffs that they'll have until they reach 24hour played, these include: Reduced aggro range, Reduced thirst and hunger, Increased healing, Reduced dmg taken. There may be more i am not sure at the moment.
A new crafting window which in my opinion is the best update in years, you can queue up 3 or more actions (depending on your mind logic) with a single click to create an item and even continue on an item without having to click around and go into a bunch of menus. It also has recipes to see what you need to make each item.
A notification system and a bunch of ingame tips
A new village recruitment system, where you can invite someone to your deed as long as you are on the same server as them, without them meeting you, and then the person can teleport to your deed. You can also place village recruitment boards on servers from where players can join your village and teleport there.

Sadly bridges were not added, also they are working on a much better tutorial which you will be able to skip. Here are some pics:

A wagon with 9 large crates can transport 2700 sand/dirt/brick or whatever. Seems pretty awesome.
