I have no idea why you guys are excited for this. It's not a good game.
The only people that still play are the same type of people who are into Thomas the Tank Engine.
because i played it with a ton of people for a whole month prior to it closing down, and i had a ton of fun doing so (and even made friends with them after it shut down)? and i want to have that same fun yet again?
and having been so long since i last played it, the game is really solid for being a kids game made by disney. look at shit like club penguin or other kiddy games, theres absolutely nothing to do in those besides sit around on your ass all day long and talk.
i cant really stand turn based games either, yet toontown is the only one i can. the visuals and art direction/designs are charming, the gameplay is simple yet still requires a bit of thinking and tactics with your team, and the game isnt as huge of a grind as compared to other MMOs
and your "wow only kids play this fuckin shit" is blatantly wrong, theres plenty of people that are far away from the target demographic yet still played and enjoyed the game. hell, my mom even played the game until it shut down, and the subreddit for toontown/various other MMO forums have plenty of people that are obviously not kids
You're clearly misunderstanding what I'm saying. I'm talking about adult Thomas the Tank Engine fans. For some reason Thomas the Tank Engine attracts a lot of adults with autism, or aspergers.
If you like the game, I'm not going to stop you. You should have fun! Also, don't get worked up so much that you post a massive wall of text over a tiny little comment.

I'm really not saying that. I just simply don't get why you would play the game.
There are tons of other charming games with far better gameplay. Also, there really is nothing wrong with being autistic. It doesn't lower anything.
I'm just saying maybe, like how Thomas appeals to certain people for some reason, Toontown appeals to certain people for some reason.

It's got a neat aesthetic and the game is pretty easy to just pick up and play.
That and the mini-games were pretty fun.

been wanting to play so hard but cba with just being able to play 3 hours at a time, at least i secured my toons name
i wonder though, does having just played once for like 10 minutes during a scheduled playtime count for these prizes

playtime was doubled to 6hours quite a while ago
and the amount of slots were increased as well
they sustained like 1000+ people at once one day and the server didn't completely die, although i can only imagine how much it'll be on release
have they really fixed it up though? the one time i played it was just a mess, constantly dropping me for no real reason, taking ages to load into an area, etc and i just gave up
