They must have some bouncer standing behind him at all times ready to fuck him up every time he does something stupid because he has done nothing but play solid Dota. Everyone gave shit to Bulldog for only playing Lone Druid at first but he's legitimately subpar at most popular offlaners Lone Druid isn't OP anymore, Nature's Prophet is first banned against Alliance EVERY GAME, and he can't play anyone else impressively enough to be worth keeping

Yeah it's really something watching bulldog fumble around on doom and bristle and kinda just be there until he dies.

Everyone gives bulldog shit. Lodas the real burden. None of his heroes are any good in the current meta. You don't have to target ban against loda anymore. That leaves you free to shut down bulldog in the picks, and then fuck s4 with ganks. Their strength was that they were good with too many heroes that you couldn't target ban them. I said it about a year ago. Alliance is a good team. However, they are effectively a one trick pony. Too many people on their roster only have a pool of ~5 heroes that they dominate on. Once enough of those heroes have declined, you can target ban the rest, and suddenly they become a shit team. EG is honestly in a very similar position to how Alliance was last year. Universe has been the embodiment of destruction in so many games. He's been absolutely dominant on a large range of heroes, and so have everyone else on EG. If Arteezy gets focused mid, Universe pulls farm out of his ass and devastates the midgame every single time. If you deal with Universe, Arteezy does what Arteezy does best, and doubles the next closest networth. That's not even considering their safelane farmer Mason, who hasn't been jerking off in a corner either. Nor is it considering some amazing plays from their supports. I'm 100% in agreement with Draskyl's comment last night. If you have to target ban an offlaner in the first round of bans, you are in trouble. If you look at all the truly dominant teams in the past year, they have all managed to do something like this. Take cloud 9 for example. How many times have you seen everything thrown at envy on spectre, while bone7 and singsing ball out of control in the midgame, and Aui farms a 16 minute aghs on visage? I shouldn't even have to mention DK. Burning DK and Mushi have consistently done that up until the past month. Shut down one of them and the other 2 take over the game, and DK has one of the most diverse hero pools of any team in existence right now.
