fuck I just don’t get how EG can beat a powerhouse like DK and then lose to Newbee EG will proably have a good chance in the lower bracetks cause their one of the strongest teams there but still…I fucking hate newbee

Especially considering that NewBee was just one spot lower on the GosuGamers rankings worldwide between EG's DK match and the match against NewBee.

call me what ever or rate me dumb but if the grand final is just newbee vs vg or lgd im not gonna bother watching, I wont watch with teams I have no connection; whom so far ive seen no personality in if its dk, c9, navi or eg sure newbee is basically just tong fu+xio8 thats all i know about them But in retrospect don’t you guys feel knowing one of the grand finalists already….kinda kills the hype?

DK vs EG intresting picks and good fights newbees clear cut more or less and like what most eastern teams like brew, doom etc newbees nothing special and if you want me to come out and say it i really dont like newbee and knowing that their going to be in the grand finals already kills the hype some of the hype, having likablity and personality to players increases viewer investment which is key for a spectator event like TI

If people are watching something thats just over-coordinated and is like machine work, it takes some of the entertainment out of it. It's like watching cars race: you watch it because you love it, but you still want to see a car crash or two because of the shock entertainment value it gives you.

I watch TI because I like seeing the top teams play in top form for a big ass prize pool. I root for my teams but when it comes down to it, I'll watch every damn match. Fuck ya'll haters, the grand finals last year were intense as fuck and anyone who says otherwise is a whiney baby. "Too much rat." isn't an excuse. Everyone was playing some kind of push Dota last year, Alliance just played it best. I'm not even a fan of Alliance and I was kinda pissed Na'Vi was in the grand finals for the third fucking year in a row, but to say it was boring and Alliance are scum for doing their thing is legit retarded. Calling that final game anything less than intense is a travesty and I expect whoever is going to play in the grand finals this year against Newbee, who is a team I don't particularly support either, is going to put on a fucking show.

I don't mind if Navi makes it to the grand finals. What I DON'T want to see though, is them get eliminated cause of dumb shit. Stop giving Xbox Razor. FFS.

If Navi do go, I don't want to see them stomped or outdrafted. I still want to see them win though.

Yeah I agree with everything you said. That is one thing I really like about dota though, although the hero in itself stays the same, they change so massively between player to player.

I know basically nothing about the asian scene so I don't find it very intresting tbh when they are playing games because I can't relate to them.

Why not just do the bo3 and just the all star match or hell just save the all star match for before the grand finals, valve is trying to force too much in on one day
