Fucking hell will you please stop whining, if you don't like it, leave.
Christ, I said I'd try the game because I can easily look over that if it's good. If it's not, then the only reason I'd buy it would be for weapon customization, so the ironsights would be a tad bit distracting. I haven't yet is because PSN is either not getting it at all, or is slow. Rated bad reading.
i think it has the same thing like counterstrike where it usually depends on luck if two people spray at each other. I do not like the aiming for the xbox though.
So far from what I've seen form the videos, the weapons doesn't seem to have any feel to them at all. I might try it out though, the weapon customization still looks good.
So far from what I've seen form the videos, the weapons doesn't seem to have any feel to them at all. I might try it out though, the weapon customization still looks good.
that too, the weapons feel....i don't know, like they have no power behind them.
Always sucks when guns sound lame in games. That and when guns only recoil upwards, or there's no recoil and just slight camera shaking (COD, BFBC, etc, and thus no reason to not fire full auto) that goes in different directions.
http://twitter.com/playtangodown They're going to be giving out codes for weapon tags over the next few months starting today; you input the code and it unlocks them. I believe the first ones are going to be World Cup related.
Omg it's counter strike with lots of guns.Well at least it looks decent

I'm gonna go and play this now, i need to rank up. Also, do you earn XP in Black Ops?
My weapon has plenty of "feel" and I haven't ranked up that much really, only level 8 and I have a great assault class and smg class.
Uhh, no. It's not about how ranked up you are or what parts you have on your gun. We're talking how they sound, how the recoil is, the animations, the handling. If the game has wimpy feeling guns, it doesn't matter what rank you are, they're all gonna be wimpy.
For some reasons a lot of things in this game remind me of pimp my gun.
I want it on PC, when will it be released?
Giantbomb did a Quick Look of this game if you want to check it out: http://www.giantbomb.com/quick-look-blacklight-tango-down/17-2881/

Spain: ESPChE4At5p Holland: HOLb8e6UWuh There is the DLC codes, it unlocks 2 charms for the guns, one raises regen time for HRV, and the other I don't know. They are both respective flags for the countries, they are on the very end of the list.

Seriously all you have done is slag the game off, I don't see why you are even wasting your time with this thread, you spam it with shit. The game is great considering it's an xbla title, it beats most full priced games.

I wrote a review about it. See thoughts there.
I think playing this game on a console would be like listening to music on mono sound. Bullet-sponge games like Halo are much better suited for the analogue stick, while twitch shooting and the moue go hand-in-hand.
No, it really doesn't. I wrote a review about it. See thoughts there.
It's more entertaining than CoD at the moment just to the fact the community isn't flooded with 12 year olds using a UMP screaming "LOL NOOB GET OWND LOLOL!!" BC 2 is hardly any better with their shitty community that camp spawn for vehicles, plus the terrible maps and the god awful weapon unlocks. Also to compare an xbla title to a "real" game is laughable on many levels anyway. Onto your "review"
I'd be surprised if people played more than just TDM. More often than not I would end up starting a new lobby and waiting for other people to join the different modes, giving up after sitting by myself for five minutes.
Not once have I, or my friends, had this problem, every game mode I have played has had people in it. The next paragraph I ain't gonna comment on as it's just a poor review of the game.
First, matchmaking is either not working correctly or there is really a serious lack of people playing even on the third day of release. Matchmaking will hang and hang and hang some more.
Again, not once have I had this problem, you on a PS3 or something? (Meaning I am playing it on 360, maybe it's different on PS3)
When you start playing you notice the maps are all pretty symmetrical, making playing from either side no different and really bland
I like this concept as will many others who played UT back in it's day, it keeps the action flowing and lets you learn the maps quickly. Honestly your review just seems very biased considering the problems you are having I have not heard of since reading that. You barely touched on the customisation of the game which is the highlight of the game, it's clear you got mauled a few times and just set out to write a poor review of the game. Also to say the community will be dead in a month? Somehow I can hardly see that happening. What I will say against Blacklight is a few improvments to the customisation screen would be nice like said in your review, it's not clear what stats they really upgrade plus searching through locked tags to find unlocked tags is irritating.
It's more entertaining than CoD at the moment just to the fact the community isn't flooded with 12 year olds using a UMP screaming "LOL NOOB GET OWND LOLOL!!" Also to compare an xbla title to a "real" game is laughable on many levels anyway.
Point about CoD: easily solvable by not using a mic and muting people. Also doesn't directly affect the game. Point about BC2: don't really know what you mean. I've never had vehicle camp trouble, I enjoy most the maps heavily and I think it has one of the better weapon unlock systems. Personal opinion. Point on comparing to a "real" title: it doesn't matter. Games are a competitive market. Even if you release it without thinking you need to compete or compare to MW2 or BC2, you're still competing to draw people to your game over that other one.
Onto your "review" Not once have I, or my friends, had this problem, every game mode I have played has had people in it.
I've played mid-day to early evening and have hardly found a game outside of TDM and Domination. Every time I try to play another mode I either start a new lobby or get put it one which lacks the people to start.
The next paragraph I ain't gonna comment on as it's just a poor review of the game.
How so? I mention the customization and I mention the HRV, possibly the two most important things to note. You really don't know what customizing the weapon does. It's exactly like I said. It shows you bars which represent stats but not what they really mean. I also talk about the small differences between something you'd normally see in other games to what it would be in this (digi grenade = smoke grenade).
Again, not once have I had this problem, you on a PS3 or something? (Meaning I am playing it on 360, maybe it's different on PS3)
I'm playing it on 360. This isn't an isolated issue. The GiantBomb guys had it too in their quick look. See a few posts up.
I like this concept as will many others who played UT back in it's day, it keeps the action flowing and lets you learn the maps quickly.
I'm not a fan of perfectly symmetrical maps. It wares them out very quickly. It's even more moot when you have x-ray vision.
How is that bias? I did touch on the customization. I also didn't get mauled. Hell, I was the one doing a lot of the mentioned spawn camping. I also don't see a reason that people will play this for more than a few weeks. Like I said, XBLA games don't have a long multiplayer life and there are bigger, better titles out right now.
Go buy a £40/$60 game then. Seriously all you have done is slag the game off, I don't see why you are even wasting your time with this thread, you spam it with shit. I'm saying, if the guns in this game feel lame, they're not going to suddenly become awesome just from leveling up. [editline]12:24PM[/editline] Luhg is blindly defending the game, just ignore him.
I just find it annoying when people slate a game that clearly does not have as many developers as a full scale retail game. After leveling my SMG (Which I hated originally) it did "suddenly become awesome" so each to their own but I still don't get why you persist on spamming this games thread with your negative comments about it. For £8 or whatever it cost I am happy with what I get and expected no more.
Just because a game doesn't have many developers does not make it okay for the game to be shit. [editline]12:37PM[/editline] And yes, the SMG may have killed people faster, but it still sounds and handles like a dying chicken.
It's an excuse to why it ain't gonna be better than the likes of BC2 in some peoples eyes. You get what you pay for, and for the price we paid, we got a great game. Where as lets take another recent game release for example, Crackdown 2, we got a re-release of Crackdown 1. For £40.
Tried the game, it seemed pretty average, but not bad for 15 dollars, I don't think I would buy it though.
Level 20, customization is pretty crazy thus far.
Blacklight is coming to STEAM!
I already know. On the Machinima channel.... this will be the new MW2...... I can see it already...
