Are there any mods that allow spawning of any and all units during battle. Would love to fiddle with ALL the tanks of each nation.
Use the editor?

I don't want to spawn only one or so on. I want the ability to spawn there and then ANY tank of the nation dependent of mission as I please.
At anypoint mid battle.

GSM has a shitton of units.
Me and a friend are facing the AI in the game doing the campaign or something, and I have to say it's pretty fun. We are awful at the game and we spent about an hour and a half fighting the japanese army over this fortified hill and only quit because of how late it was, but i love how you can take control of the tanks/infantry/gun placements and use them to help turn the tide of the battle
We never actually secured the hill (took it a few times in suicide rushes so we could spawn an m3 stuart but we would almost immediately lose it and the stuart would always die in the end) and it was a pretty solid stalemate, but it was a good opportunity to learn the game mechanics. I also love how they force you to use the supply trucks so you have to constantly be resupplying machine gun nests or anti-tank guns. I also love how you can load HE into the AT guns and just blast infantry to hell.

Glad I bought it while the 75% sale was 5 minutes from ending

Isn't that a Multiplayer only thing though?
I had a comet that hung out behind one of those buildings and eveytime he would pop out a tank I would roll forward and kill it. Killed his vet teeger in two shots and one shotted some medium tanks. That point in the screen is from when we realized how bad the points were and rushed some points.
Seriously? They didn't have any Panzershreck guys or atleast even try to dynamite kamikaze it with any scouts?
My solution is always to buy scout and ninjadynamite my opponent's shit, or save points and buy sturmtiger and kill everything.
I get angry at people who do that :v:
I get really butangry with shit like that and spend a lot of time and points buying little things to kill it.

Anyone? Even a mod that allows a lot more selection of tanks to purchase during battle would be fantastic. As most mods that add things seem to be only adding things to Multiplayer only, and only mod that allows tank spawning is cheat mod but only has 2 tanks to choose from each side.
Buy flammenwerfer and set enemy tanks on fire. Fun to do.

Yea. MOWAS is a multiplayer PvP based game...
It's unfortunately brutally hard for newbies though :S

I wish it wasnt, joined a game once got lost and quit even though I had 18 hours in Men Of War
My friend had a Super Pershing laying into my Sturmtiger's side armour from ~20 metres away and couldn't get through it (ST was immobilized) in the mean time I brought up a Panther and hulled the Super Pershing with one shot.

I'd love to play the Multi but everyone seems to say the same thing. That it's a total bitch if you are new the MOWAS Online.
Play Skirmish online first to learn the game and to receive tips from other users.

The only tips I learned from playing the MP in Assault Squad is that playing the MP in Assault Squad is a pointless and frustrating affair that makes the sometimes bullshit but overall fun SP go pale with how much stupid and unbalanced crap there is. 5-10 minutes into a Territory map, the American team had bought a Sherman Calliope that could saturate a huge area of the map and destroy every bit of resistance we put up with a mouse click. Then I watched as an M19 AA tank repeatedly killed MBT's from the front, starting with the cannon. The American team didn't even need to build standard tanks, they just spammed M19's and Rangers.

Then you are going to hate me to death, I love that thing and during my two year career of asskicking, no-one has been able to kill my precious Sturmtiger :v:

sounds like you're just mad bro
first off, there are no MBTs in MoW:AS, it's not the cold war yet. there are light, medium, and heavy tanks, you can't expect the combination of speed, firepower, and armor present in a actual MBT in any tank in MoW:AS. There are all trade offs. It would help us if you actually told us what tanks you used. Calliopes aren't worth jack shit against standard tanks, "destroying all resistance you put up with a click" is a major exaggeration.
Sounds like you went with crap tank builds and are now complaining about it.

sturmtiger master race. No tank can survive a rocket mine to the hull.

I've play some Skirmish maps with friends. But I tried a game online with randoms. And got shouted at for being - "A Useless noob"
I find playing ArmA 2 online with ACE. SO much easier. Anyone here play online at all often and maybe wants to play a game sometime. Maybe 1V1 and show me some tips? I know it's a lot to ask. But I'd love to learn the MP as SP gets a bit stale after awhile.

Well I don't know what the current state of MoW:AS multiplayer is in, but when I was playing, the public games were always done with friends. Because it is quaranteed there were atleast 2 guys at any given time working togetha in opposite team in matches above 2 vs 2. The noobmower tactic in 1vs1 would be buying a motorcycle at the very start and boom & zooming it at the opponent's infantry while you cap the flags
in the first MoW i made heavy use of assault infantry supported by M19s for everything, they are tank killers in the game, seriously.
mowas changed that, limited use of m19s now, but assault infantry are even better.
usa gets shit all for tanks though, shermans are kind of expensive and on the "competitive" setting, they don't even get the m3 lee.
oh and they removed the t29 completely, instead of having super pershing as a hero unit, should have had it as the top tank w/ the pershing, and then had the t29 as the hero tank

shoots rockets guys i swear
mow community best
This was after we both bought those rocket tanks (only arty we ever used) to fight off his mortars every five seconds.
yeah mortar spammers can't argue against that
i actually REALLY hate in assault zones when the enemy somehow beats you to the center and digs it in, in less than like 2 minutes. because by then it becomes impossible to move up
Here's my experience with MOW MP:
"Server is hosted in your town? Well fuck you, here's 200 ping"

Yeah, you're walking your dudes up and they have mgs behind sandbags and a pkp or something that eats your men
IMO, the "brutality" of MOWAS' multiplayer is due to it's skill gap.
Since the game has quite a lot of depth to it, those who have played the game for an extended amount of time will be able to more or less spawn camp the newbie with 10-20 hours of gameplay.
Again, In My Opinion, it takes roughly 100 hours before you know what all the units do, and the basic gameplay of MOWAS. Only after that time, can you really learn the unit counters well (if it can be called that).
The most important part of learning to play MOWAS is to play against other players of similar skill level. Unfortunately, that is hard to find in the public lobby. Tutoring also helps to increase skill very fast, but it feels oppressive if not done right.
i used to play 24/7 nonstop mow and then mow:as but i haven't played it in like, almost a year. so my skills are rusty.
also mg42 op

Indeed, the russian wizards can order half a squad to flank your machinegunner, direct controll a guy to nade him, and still have enought time to direct control a tank to boom & zoom your medium tank, all this done in the time it take to the grenade to fly its course and detonate.
