This glitch:

It says 28, but that was before all of the DLCs when you could only get 15. The only downside of doing it is that you never truly complete Goodsprings.
Yes it is very effective with those perks too.
And I don't want to do that glitch if I can't do Ghostown Gunfight.
I think i've hit that point where Fallout 2 is not as much of a pain in the ass now, i cleared out the raiders in the raider base south of vault city quite easily, although i did use up all of my stimpaks.
What's the most phallic weapon in Fallout: New Vegas? I need to know because of raisins.

A contender on sheer size alone. Other sterling examples include the anti-material rifle, the minigun, or any other large weapons whose barrel extends from roughly the crotch region.
What's the furthest you can go in each faction's questline before you're forced to choose who you're taking to the Dam? I want to get Meat of Champions so I'm going to roll with Caesar for a while, then eat him and go independent. But until then I don't want to alienate myself from the tons of NCR quests. What can I do?
Ever since I system-restored my computer for confidential reasons I've decided to play New Vegas again. Upon stepping outside I noticed that the textures are shittier than usual. I couldn't read the text of anything, even the Pip-boy. The game used to play flawlessly before this, too. Has anyone else had this problem before and have a solution for it?

I have also downloaded the medium quality NMC texture pack in an attempt to combat this with no effect.
Any ideas?

By the way, I suspect modern computers screw with the way travel time & timing of encounters work, and that the unofficial patch fixes the problem... but in a way that doesn't entirely replicate how it ran in 1999. I got 4 encounters in a single square yesterday. I'm certain back in the day when I originally played it they were spaced out evenly (eg once every 3-5 squares). I also recall that when I attempted to replay it in the early 2000s the travel speed was super fast.
For some reason I get the feeling the main bad guys for F4 are gonna be the Institute from the commonwealth, they've created Androids, very unknown, and probably have a shit ton of technology. I don't think the developers are planning to do the same west coast all over again.

Breaking news: Legion wiped out by psycho lesbian with a minigun.

Wow, these DLC's are really hyping up Lonesome Road. I almost wish they wouldn't, in case it somehow disappoints.
Okay, this might be a stupid question but uh, did you set your texture detail to high in the Fallout Launcher options?
That was the most stupid question I've ever heard today, and yes I set it to high.
So I finally decided to launch my steam copy of fallout 3 and I can't play it because microsoft didn't provide enough keys to steam for the sales.
So I own the game but GFWL won't even let me launch it. I wish I could jsut use my physical copy's key for it.

That's one of the stupidest things I've heard in a long time. What a cock-up.

It happens all the time with multiple companies.

shit, don't you know?
any GWFL key that's from before 2010 can be used for any game from before 2010.
and i don't think they ever fixed that.

Wait, doesn't Fallout 3 automatically launch for Steam regardless of whether or not you type in the key for GFWL? I know for a fact that I never entered my key in and I got around the "DLCs-won't-unlock-until-you-use-your-key" thing by just deleting the DLCs off the DLC list in the Fallout folder.
Signature Armor
W-wh-whaaaat?
I started a new character around a signature weapon but didn't know about signature armour? This is the character I think I'm going to complete the game on.
I'm level 12. I'VE BEEN USING SHERIFF'S DUSTER. IT HAS 0 DT. I USUALLY DON'T SWAP IT OUT FOR ARMOUR BECAUSE ~character~
I... I think I need to lie down.
I was going to hop up to the cool armour that they show on the art and stuff but since learned I'll either need to do lonesome road or be disguised as NCR, neither of which are things I want to do, not right now at least.
Goddamn.
I could install it now, but that's a hell of a lot of lost armour levels. I don't know what to do anymore. My character is using That Gun and had been based loosely around Blade Runner, you guys able to think of any armour that'd suit? As far as I can tell from digging through my data folder, Roberts male bodies doesn't use an alternate mesh so I could use http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/40445/ and not feel too bad about muh almost-vanilla playthrough, and use signature armour with it once I get it.
Ok, i'm in new reno trying to get those parts to fix the air purifier, and the door to Renesco's Pharmacy is blocked a by a junkie that won't move and it's pissing me off. Anyone know how to get rid of the junkie without making the town hate me?

It gives you a key upon launching the game. If no key can be retrieved from the server, you can't launch the game at all.
This is not specific to GFWL games but it does happen a lot more with them than any other titles.
I'm seriously going to have a fucking heart attack trying to get the Safety Deposit Box achievement
literally almost everything about Dead Money has made my fucking blood boil

I've seriously tried like 20 fucking times at it

You have to go back the way you came, thats how you lock him out

Can you not push him in the context menu? Or does that only work on your party?
[editline]5th August 2013[/editline]
Otherwise, use steal to plant a bomb on him.
[editline]5th August 2013[/editline]
Or pump him full of super stims.
lol he removed the whole thing
Not viable when super stims are over $1k each for me, and i shot him anyways, with my brand new .223 pistol i found to use with One-Hander, which i swapped out Finesse for with Mutate!.
I can actually bypass Fallout 3's key problem by just launching the game directly via fallout.exe, but steam then doesn't keep record of time played on the game. I don't want to assign my box key to it though because it may cause issues with the dlc.
The new issue being that I can't activate the dlc files by just doing that, and nexus mod manager is obsessed with trying to locate my original copy (which is not installed on my computer anymore) even when I give it the new file location. I also don't have any access on options so the game is gonna look like utter shit.
I just wiped out a cavern filled with Lesser Deathclaws. I'm loving this .223 pistol, ammo is plentiful and easy to come by, and it's probably the best pistol in the game, i killed each deathclaw with a single shot each, sometimes i wouldn't get a critical, but 80% of the time i had a critical and the deathclaw died instantly.
i just finished dead money and its bad enough to make me want to stop playing Fallout alltogether
what a pile of shit
its basically Fallout meats Half Life 2 Ravenholm... you're by yourself, you have shitty weapons, cant fast travel, you cant sleep so you're a stimpack junky, the cloud and the radio collar means you're forced into a single path nay *single spot* so you fire at the radio *exactly* how the designer wanted it
you spend 5 mins with the companions and their not too likeable either
you have ONE enemy and he sucks and the story doesnt make much sense
rubbish rubbish, i curse the people who did this DLC, shameful effort
i never want to go back there and i hope the other dlcs arent this bad
Looks like someone couldn't [sp]Let Go[/sp]
Old World Blues is getting really irritating. I want to finish it as soon as possible just so I can get out of the crater and get more ammo for my guns. I wish I could take two steps without getting attacked by assholes or roboscorpions.
On the other hand, holy shit my appliances talk and are hilarious.
got projects nevada & reality and stalker weapons in new vegas
now i can play the game :D
