What happens after that whole alien ship thing in Mothership Zeta? That just can't be the whole DLC. Should I wait or something? [editline]9th August 2013[/editline] What the fuck. That WAS the whole DLC.
Zeta was the weakest DLC.
Well, I'm downloading the mod now that is supposed to make you the captain of another ship or whatever.
What the fuck are you doing having any follower that isn't fawkes
I'm pretty sure you can only get him as part of the main quest, and I can't trigger the main quest.
Recently I've been getting absolutely awful framerate drops whenever I am near a light source inside of a building in NV(Windows, vigor tester) Here's my modlist: http://pastebin.com/mkMhx9js Can anyone see the problem?
It would be interesting if in hardcore mode for NV along with TTW you had to give food and water to your dog companions or kill animals with meat and bring them to water sources or else they would get dehydrated and hungry just like you.
player.setscale 0.9 is what I usually enter on females. Doesn't change the proportions or anything but it does change their overall size.
Why on females?
women tend to be shorter than men
Actually, my FPS drops may have to do with my CCC settings.
Just spent my entire life savings of 130k caps.
Replaying fallout 3 right now and it crashes every 20 minutes.
Do you have a quad core cpu? If so try this:
Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3 Find the line: bUseThreadedAI=0 change it to: bUseThreadedAI=1 Add another line after it and insert: iNumHWThreads=2
It seemed to stop my game crashing a lot.
on what!?
Esther and 50,000 mini nukes.
Esther and 50,000 mini nukes.
Now turn on Hardcore Mode and post a screen of your carried weight :v:
Other than Fawks, as I usually end up Jesus Incarnate and end up pretty much having to take him, the only other companion I ever take in Fallout 3 is Dogmeat, and even then I usually don't get him 'till mid game as I always forget where to find him. I agree that the companions in New Vegas were a huge improvement. I have yet to actually use Rex, only used Lily for a really short time and don't believe I ever did anything involving Arcade Ganon. ED-I is pretty much my constant companion in the main game. Otherwise I am super original and, in order of most to least used, use Raul, Veronica, Boone and Cass. I use Raul over Boone as while yeah, I could give him something weaker, its not much fun having Boone explode everythings head before I am even aware other than the first few times I've taken Boone. I also have yet to mess around with any of those mods that add companions. I've heard they are extremely mixed in quality to boot.
I gave up looking for good companion mods when it started to look like they were all just anime sex slaves or whatever.
Esther and 50,000 mini nukes.
What kind of mini-nukes? Also, can't you get an unlimited supply of yon regulare mini-nukes in Lonesome Road from the Comm. Terminals?
blah blah wip etc etc just feeling things out [img_thumb]http://i7.minus.com/ibin6Pfj672Tug.jpg[/img_thumb] vanilla [img_thumb]http://i7.minus.com/ibkRQMaQF1RvXC.jpg[/img_thumb]

In my first run, - hardcore no mods - I took Raul and saved myself a whole fuckton of hassle. I've barely even talked to Arcade, Boone was fun for a little while but I got bored with him, Veronica has become my go-to companion for modded games, Cass I've never even done the opening quest for, and Lily just isn't my cup of tea. ED-I I haven't used in a while, but my original run had Raul and ED-I, and the increased sight range helped considerably. [editline]9th August 2013[/editline] As for companion mods, Willow is pretty good and Niner looks solid although I haven't actually picked him up yet to see.

Currently at 60k caps because I emptied all the casinos except for Sierra Madre. About to start the DLCs, I'm currently level 16 though I'm not really combat focused, what DLC should I start with?

Dead Money > Honest Hearts > Old World Blues > Lonesome Road. I want to run around in the Mojave a bit more before starting OWB though, so I haven't done the latter two. It really is beneficial to wait until you're higher level though, some of the skill checks in Dead Money are nasty.
IIRC, I've got 90 speech, 80 science, 75 guns and 80 lockpick, would that help for the skill checks?
That's fine, just avoid taking any Barter checks, I'll tell you that much.
My Barter is pretty low anyway.
I don't know what it is about barter but I never ended up tagging it. It just seemed like a wasted skill, even though there's plenty of evidence in New Vegas that they tried to make it good.
Now turn on Hardcore Mode and post a screen of your carried weight :v:
I didn't buy 50 000 mininukes, i bought 100 000, 20mm heavy explosives, 10 turrets to put down, 4 pairs of new heavy armour, an surpressed explosive sniper along with 2000 rounds. And a brand new pair of mentats. Now if anyone wants to tell me what mod this is, they win a brand new ghoul sex slave. I do have all the gold bars from deadmoney so im good, here are the screenshots http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198004564866/screenshots/?appid=22380
thats nvec im pretty sure because i use it too [editline]9th August 2013[/editline] complete also a bit late but i make my female characters at player scale of anywhere between 1.05 to 1.25 normal height, basically lanius
