I live on the east coast and I have never seen a sarsaparilla soft drink commercially sold.
Honest Hearts was a tad bit boring. The Burned Man was pretty cool, and if I remember right - voiced by Keith Szar...Szaja...Harbinger.
Also known as Holtz from Angel.
I think Honest Heart is worth it just to hear the Survivalist's story. And to get the full experience for Lonesome Road, even if the connection is retrospective.

Where do you live exactly? I pretty sure you can get sarsaparilla soda in Pennsylvania.
I had a dream that I was playing one of the original Fallouts. It was weird. Partly because I've never played them before...

If you check the sales chart in the SS office, the Northeast Coast has absolutely zero sales on there.

Is Fallout Tactics worth the trouble of playing, or did i waste my money on it?

If you already bought it, why are you here asking us instead of trying it for yourself? It's a little late for warnings/recommendations.
I want to do more playthroughs of FO3, but all the FOOKS and interoperability patches, DImonizes and other shit confuse me to hell. I always played FO3 and New Vegas as vanilla. I only ever modded Skyrim and as such, gained insight in the good mods as they came out. HALP GODDAMN YOU!
Finally moved my stash in the Divide out back to the Sink. Now I can do whatever I want as the walking machine of death I am.
I've had this idea for a Fallout 3 mod all day.
Somewhere in Downtown D.C., there's a Sunset Sarsaparilla office for their East Coast branch. Inside the place are crates loaded with unsold bottles of said drink, Terminals leaving behind notes of the facility is being shut down due to lack of sales, and the manager's resignation letter that doubles as his suicide note.
And deeper in the place is the manager's secret shrine to Nuka-Cola, complete with a matching Protectron.
I should start working on it.
Looks like this won't be happening. The Fallout 3 version of G.E.C.K. keeps giving me an "assertion error" every time I load up an interior or exterior. I'm using the latest version to boot.
Anybody else got that problem? Google isn't helping me out.

I've never seen any in southeastern Pennsylvania.
Got it working, just need to tune movement values for Fallout NV's unit scale
[editline]16th August 2013[/editline]
http://filesmelt.com/dl/playerphysics_nv.dll
Requires NVSE (or a generic DLL loader). Goes in FONV/Data/NVSE/Plugins.
Has some oddities in 3rd person (not nearly as bad as the Skyrim version). Unfortunately doesn't fix the stupid sliding bug when releasing a movement key while rotating the camera.
This needs to be in ArmA.

GAME OVER
RETURN OF ENCLAVE

I actually didn't think it was possible without cheating.
Well you proved me wrong then.
Is taking up residence in the Lucky 38 presidential suite actually worth it? I know between the general location and being able to tell all my companions to wait there that it's fairly convenient but I'm not entirely on board with Boone and Veronica meandering about drinking all my booze and eating all my Radscorpion venom casseroles, especially considering Novac essentially has everything I need already.

I think that guy once managed to accidentally get in during my playthrough.
He just stood at the gate and shaked his fists around so I punched him with my shotgun fist.
God, everytime I play Old World Blues, I squeal with delight. Accessing new dialogue because of skills is great, not only cause of the new rewards but just to hear more of that writing. With a high barter skill this time around, I manage to trick The Think Tank into giving me tons of caps.

OWB has just so much humour in it. I love that DLC.
To compensate for my lack of a working Fallout 3 G.E.C.K., I'm porting over as much FO3 content possible over to the New Vegas G.E.C.K. and saving it in a separate .ESP file. It's the perfect plan.
Also a little backstory to the picture I took. The first time I got the ending Hannibal stood in front of the screen the whole time. Yesterday I thought I again managed to stand in a way that he isn't in the screen when suddenly he started to periodically walk from one end to the other.
Anyway, I have a lore question. Brotherhood of Steel. I only played FO3 and NV. In the former they are like the bestest guys around but in NV they are in hiding, completely against contact with the rest of the world and stealing energy weapons from people, sometimes killing them. What purpose do they have in the world of FO? Because they seem like they could slow down progress.

Basically, the ending is just a blank slideshow in a empty world. Same with the intro to OWB and others.
I could pit a couple of NCR vs. Legion in that map and see what happens.
I have a question regarding GECK. I want to make my own weapon out of existing one and have pinpoint accuracy with it. How do I mod it to have such accuracy? Min. Spread doesn't seem to do the trick exactly.
So I accidentally fixed Skyrim's weird 3rd person movement with my mod and I suspect when I port it to New Vegas it'll fix the sliding bug.
I've also added loss of traction on slopes.

Did you set Min Spread to 0?

Canonically, the BoS as a whole is supposed to be more like what you saw in New Vegas: xenophobic power-armored guys who hoard technology and look at non-Brotherhood folks in contempt. Their goal was something to the effect of "save humanity by taking away the shit it'll use to destroy itself".
Obviously that's not viable, and certain members of the organization see that; Elder Lyons in FO3 was one such fellow who decided "Let's help people instead of spitting on them and leaving them to die". He thought this after coming to the East Coast with a large contingent of Brotherhood people, and the (seemingly) smaller population that retained their West Coast ideology were kicked out and became the Outcasts.
So to answer your question, yes, they certainly would slow down progress.

Ever heard of root beer? Same thing.
