Speaking of Hank Hill, you ever run the NVInteriors mod?
dude, all i have is time, i have 198 hours in it on steam, i can not see myself stop playing that game any time soon
lets assume you play a complete runthrough of the entire game with each character
thats about 100 hours if you're playing the game normally, if you're doing harsh runthroughs, that's like at least 1.5 times that, so lets assume 150 to get through it as well as DLC (hell trying dead money with any of those would take days in and of itself)
thats roughly 600+ hours total
thats more than 25 days straight youd have to play
you'd burn out way before you got to the combined challenge

Again like i said, i am fat guy with no job and little to no friends, all i have is time
P.S. it only takes me like 50 hours or so do do a full run to lvl 50 with all DLC's

even if youre the most neckbeardiest warrior in all of the world youll lose interest in the game after 25 straight days of playing the same quests over and over
hell, i wouldnt expect anyone to have new vegas hold their attention for that long consecutively

go read the fallout wiki until your eyes bleed
prove your loyalty
on a side note, does anyone know if there is a mod that adds cod pieces to NV?

Still Reading, Thank god they dont say bethesda made it.
man, I'm still stunned by how clever New Vegas was with its DLC
I noticed that there's a reference to the Pitt in vanilla F3 but other than that I can't remember any DLC references besides maybe the crashed spaceship, but some topics were so commonplace in NV that when it was revealed what they really were my jaw just dropped
i know, holy shit, even subtle stuff like the burned man going "i expected a courier, but not you," or the myriad of references in dead money.
Fuck it, redownloading FO1 from my GOG library.
Wish me luck!

I wouldnt be suprised if there was.
speaking of what i said like 2 posts again
burned man? best fallout character. he's my favorite religious character in any game ever.
too bad its impossible to do the third one
at one point in the story you basically have to screw your chances with all the other factions in order to progress with the one you choose
Not necessarily, you can still do most quests with an NCR/Legion disguise, but yes, near the very end you must choose a side and you can't do the quests for the others.
Yes man quest is always available in case you somehow manage to lock yourself out of the ending

I liked Daniel too.
I'm kinda sad the "better" ending of Honest Hearts led to a sad ending for him.
Daniel gets fucked either way
Hey, does anyone know how to mess with ironsight alignment? As nice as 'true ironsights' would be I've given up on them, can't find a mod that really fixes them and the vanilla is fucked. I want to redo them in the style of Fallout 3, where you hold the gun up to the side of your head to fire it. I always found that more visually pleasing v:v:v

on my recent character, i did the "let's kill the white legs" ending. sucks how either ending in that dlc blows.
i also still haven't beaten owb yet, not even on my old main character. i want to wait 'till i've beaten nearly everything before i do that. have been kinda lagging behind because i've put my male main guns character aside for my TTW female energy weapons character.
The only thing I didn't like about Honest Hearts was it didn't seem to have anything to do with.. well.. anything. It seemed completely unrelated to the main plot, and the only part of it that is ever brought up outside the DLC is Joshua Graham.
That and I couldn't find any goddamn microfusion cells jesus christ obsidian what do you have against energy weapons

I could pull it off if I could be bothered to actually do so, it's not uncommon for my savegames to get 200+ hours on them before they're either so badly corrupted they won't load anymore or I've finished everything there is to do.

No, but there is a Hank Hill reference. It's a badass mod, basically it seeks to prise open all the boarded up buildings and traincars throughout the Mojave. It's a great little mod if you like to explore. It's also got a smattering of collectibles if you want to hoard random stuff and/or decorate a player home. I've got a Virgo II lunar lander model on the unique weapons safe in mine, an Elvis Presley picture propped up next to the radio opposite the safe, rockets propped up on the reload bench, a digger moddel on the workbench...all sorts of nifty little things like that. There's also a version for Fallout 3 AND a version for TTW.
As for why I spent 35 minutes pissing around with Z-grabbing small objects into specific spots? I was bored :v:

If that's what you want just go into the options and turn ironsights off outright. It's under gameplay. Obsidian was kind enough to put that option in for players that prefer not using irons.
I finally bought NV for my PC!
Yay! Now to mod the piss out of it
You haven't lived before spending at least 3 hours working on load orders and compatibility patches. Also, The Courier's Cache mod is hilarious. You get John McClane's wife beater and pants combo, along with some badass dusters and shit - and they're not hilariously OP. Some decent voiced NPC's, most notable being Carlos the Lawbringer.
Yeah, open them up in the Geck and play with the animation settings until you find a hold that works. It's really simple, mostly a matter of clicking a couple buttons.
Thanks, I got it fixed.
The solution is to untick the box that says "Don't use IS animations in 1st person", it is simple.
It's under Art & Sound by the way.
What's the most recommended texture pack for new vegas?
I really wish companions weren't so damn powerful.
I mean, Boone and Veronica will kill the shit out of anything before you can raise your gun, and on hardcore they die in five seconds thanks to their AI. I just have to leave them behind regardless of how good their personalities are due to me wanting to actually shoot things.
You get John McClane's wife beater and pants combo
Do you have a screen of this? I'm half considering making a John McClane companion with voice clips from the movie now.
