You bastard.
Better than invisible walls.
So I accidentally fixed Skyrim's weird 3rd person movement with my mod and I suspect when I port it to New Vegas it'll fix the sliding bug. I've also added loss of traction on slopes.
Bethesda should totally hire you.
Ever heard of root beer? Same thing.
Its slightly different though.
The New Vegas port is almost done. I was right, my changes did fix NV's sliding bug.
So what exactly does it do? Sorry, just not sure :v:
So what exactly does it do? Sorry, just not sure :v:
Default New Vegas: Press W, instantly go to max speed, release W, instantly stop My mod: Press W, briefly accelerate to max speed, release W, get slowed to a stop by friction And in the next update you'll lose traction when moving along slopes.
One day I'm going to make a character named Goose. He'll have his Intelligence stat set to 3, but he'll be an idiot-savant sniper aligned with the NCR.

So I'm sort of stumbling around in random directions and I'm wondering if that's a bug in my mod or because every bone in my body is broken.
I'm doing a run of Fallout 2 and I never before realized just how testy the AI is. I've ended up killing about seven Vault City patrols because they accidentally shot Cassidy, having Metzger kill every reliant and orphan on the West Side, and now Melchior's Pets are killing him as soon as they spawn.

[editline] edit [/editline] Nothing beats having Sulik in Hardened power armor with a .223 pistol and Cassidy in normal PA with a Jackhammer. I also got Goris, and he's pretty kickass, i recently got Myron though, he's in Brotherhood Armor, and will be hiding from enemies rather than fighting, i really only need him to get the Solar Scorcher from EPA in F2RP 2.2, after that, im going to the SAD and will remove his brain, throw it away and get the Cybernetic brain and make Skynet, then give him the Solar Scorcher.
Oh man I just noticed that Marcus is a Jet addict now. How can I fix this?
I started playing Honest Hearts today. I kinda wish I had gone with a melee character this playthrough, it seems like it would've been much more fitting with this DLC. Also, whoever said that you should go into HH with the "pack lightly and be a survivalist" mindset, thanks a ton, because if I hadn't seen that I probably would've entered the DLC begrudging the fact that I couldn't take my entire goddamn arsenal and it wouldn't have been as fun.
Oh man I just noticed that Marcus is a Jet addict now. How can I fix this?
Go to San Francisco, on the tanker, and buy the jet antidote from the guy with the "GUNS" sign behind him, he may or may not have it, but usually he does, at least for me.

Fun fact: Myron is voiced by Jason Marsden who also voiced Boone from Fallout: New Vegas and Horus from Fallout Tactics.
Speaking of Fallout Tactics, I just started the first mission with super mutants in it. I probably should've brought someone who can use energy weapons. And some energy weapons. Because fuck their ridiculous armor and HP.
I forced myself to finish Lonesome Road, finally. Did anybody else find it incredibly dull?
I went into HH most recently with just 42 pounds of gear on me...which includes the PN rail cannon...I still ended up overencumbered by about 40 pounds when I was done. :v: Of course I did sort of pick up every AMR and tommy gun I found...hehe I will say that it is infinitely fun to blast the white legs warriors with that rail cannon. It may be overkill times three or four but god damn is it great fun.
Yeah fuck Myron.
Am I the only one that actually liked Myron?
On my third playthrough I've only just found the Big Horn Saloon in Boulder City for the first time. Man, that bar is depressing. Ike is the only person there, and I'm probably never going to visit him again. There's a easy-locked footlocker in his back room, maybe Ike locked it to seem more mysterious, but get this - there's nothing even in it.

I never knew, the only reason why I even go there is just to complete Boulder City Showdown then leave right after that. The city doesn't really have much use at all.
Have you cleared out Quarry Junction?
Not yet, new character. I just read that the bar fills up after you clear out the Deathclaws. Thank god. Poor Ike would've probably hung himself otherwise.

I wish there was some animal to ride. The setting of NV just screams for one. Something like a two-headed horse. You also see these futuristic motorbikes which appear to be in good shape but no one uses them.
