I have heard this a lot, but I have played it at least 5 times and modded the fuck out of it and I didn't really notice it being that unstable.

Since I got Windows 7, the game freezes when I quicksave or the game saves. Making tedious to play it.

i installed Fallout 3 goty vanilla on my i7 and it crashes randomly

apparently it doesnt work on i7 quads - quick google shows a fallout.ini edit that forces it to use only 2 cores and its all good

also.... 1,920 x 1,200 max details and its still a tad too quick

The fuck you say. The poison is mean, but the massive stinger is where the damage comes from. I know this because every time I fight a fucking cazadore it cripples at least one limb if it gets to me.

Cazadores hate two things: Shotguns and explosions. I like to use a hunting shotgun against them, partially because shotguns just shred them and partially because the hunting shotty doesn't spam 12 gauge everywhere.

ya your playing it with machine guns or explosives or with snipers or with energy weapons.....

shotguns are a good early start weapon, but they aren't the end all weapon, espeacially with WMX and PN installed. really the highest level shotguns are the hunting shotgun, and the riot shotgun and both aren't THAT good compaired to many of the end-game weapons like the light machine gun, this machine, hunting riffle snipers and other guns

Don't need 'em. 100 Guns and a steady supply of shotshells is more than enough to deal with every cazadore in the game.

Try making the game windowed in the launcher. I have to make it windowed and then making it fullscreen back and forth everytime it crashes.

Cazadores basically hate anything with a high DPS 'cause of their low\nonexistent DT. The 9mm SMG from Doc Mitchell's makes taking a shortcut to Vegas a lot easier (you still need a ton of ammo and a shotty for backup, and a .357 or something for that one asshole raider in Combat Armor, but after that it's smooth sailing)

Why let Cass waste all your 12 gauge shooting everything around the target when you could just cut out the middleman and use dinner bell yourself? Or, for that matter, why go to all the fuss of getting dinner bell when a bog standard hunting shotgun does the trick?

Does companion ammo work with any weapon? Like will Cass use companion ammo on any 20 gauge shotgun? I always assumed they didn't, gave them 1,000 rounds of ammo and hoped they wouldn't burn it like kindling.

Something that's been confusing me as I've been reading the Fallout wiki.

Was Shady Sands [I]founded[/I] by the people from Vault 15, or was it already there and the people from the Vault who didn't become one of the 3 major raider groups just joined it?

you have to give your companions ammo as needed

if you're up against something big, give them 50 shells, if they burn it all, they burn it all

you meet enough caravans and you should have heaps of caps anyway

remember this is a game where you're supposed to have fun

if i wanted the most efficiency you run Boone but since you have heaps of guns ammo caps why not run someone else and have a blast

i dont have an issue giving them unique weapons since you can repair for free with Ed-e and you should be able to make heaps of weapon repair kits anyway... for a time i *exclusively* used only unique weapons just to mix it up
