i like that thing where the put a mine entrance half way up a mountain side with an obscure path with dead ends
this is awesome gameplay
or use tcl
Ha. You people need to learn how to scale mountains, Oblivion style. It got to where I could pretty much climb any area in Oblivion given enough time, bar places actually impossible due to 0 incline and/or invisible walls. I played it on the Xbox, so once I got done doing all the quests that was basically all I had to left to do.
Well, that and see how long it took the guards to kill me at level 40-something. The answer is not long, by the way.

Oblivion's leveling system was awful.
sometimes you need tcl
like when you want to visit the king and you're not retarded enough to walk up 3 fucking floors
or when u can just barely make it over a mountain
i don't think we're talking about the same game
Help!
I started anew, and installed a bunch of mods. Now,when I launch the game. It goes untill the main menu, where you can see that NCR VeterannRanger, but the text, logo or options dont pop up. Music keeps playing. This goes on forever AFAIK. Halp pls?

Post your load order. You obviously did pretty much everything wrong.

I used BOSS,bit ill post myloadorder tomorrow. On a tablet right now.
BOSS doesn't recognize every plugin. Any it doesn't recognize will be automatically moved to the bottom of the list.
what the fuck butch

where are you getting all this ammo
I hear of a lot of people complaining about Dead Money, and while I definitely see their point about the radios and other enviromental things, the enemies didn't really bother me that much. Since you can get bear trap fists, which have really high limb damage, the ghost people weren't really that much of a problem since most of them were melee.
I had sufficient unarmed skill, though, and I can understand it being frustrating as a gun character, having tried to use guns in the beginning.

I was mostly a guns focused character with nothing much in unarmed and I used the bear trap fists and cosmic knives. Doing so got me the achievement for 10000 unarmed damage and melee damage or whatever. It's a hell of a lot easier if Dog tells you how to like insta-kill them without needing to dismember them.
while i'm not done with my current playthrough, i've given some thought to what character i'll do next
i'm thinking of becoming some sort of "thing"master, like beast or robot or bug. what do you think i should do?
i have mods that'll allow me to do that

Which is why I don't use it and cringe every time someone says to use it.

BOSS is a good tool, especially to see confirmed conflictions. But it's not the end-all sorter. You always need to check over its list and move stuff around.

If you've got more than 4 or 5 plugins BOSS doesn't recognize it just breaks everything. I tried it a few times and shrugged it off when the end result had me setting it manually anyway.
Can someone help me with my loadorder instead of rating it funny :v:
I don't know much of loadorders, except that the official .esm and DLCs need to be up top and leveled lists at the bottom.
what level should i be at before i start the Fallout3 dlc?

Depends on which one

Regarding my loadlist,I disabled uniqueitemsNOPERKS and NOBONUS. Those conflicted. Still not fixed though. Might be my GPU,it's an Intel HD Graphics, but im replacing it today for a ATI Radeon HD5xxxx
It's probably your Intel HD GPU. Those things lag trying to render Windows. There's no way in hell they can render Fallout: NV, and given how sensitive the engine is to framerates it's no surprise you're getting frequent crashes.
I'm honestly surprised your game starts at all. The few times I've tried to launch games on Intel onboard chips they almost universally balk and go "There's no 3D accelerator installed".

So what you're telling me is you'd rather manually sort 50+ plugins instead of letting a tool do the groundwork and then manually sorting maybe 10?
So what you're telling me is you'd rather manually sort 50+ plugins instead of letting a tool do the groundwork and then manually sorting maybe 10?
What I'm saying is I'd rather just manually set my 70-odd plugins then try the tool, set the 5-10 it doesn't recognize, then spend four hours trying to figure out what the fuck the pants-on-head-retarded autosorter did to make the main menu itself not load at all and turn the background image into a rainbow.
Idunno, maybe you enjoy spending the four hours diagnosing the autosorter's mistakes. But me? No thanks. I'll just set 'em manually and have it work the first time.
That sounds more like you're intentionally using conflicting addons to shit talk BOSS, because unless you don't have any idea how to manually sort plugins - which I'm assuming you do, since you only manually sort - then BOSS typically doesn't do that after you've placed the unrecognized stuff.
And that's something I never did. BOSS just doesn't work from my own first-hand experience. It just breaks the game and makes me manually set everything anyway. So I might as well just cut the middleman out and set it manually the first time.
I've never had any significant issues with BOSS. I've had the odd time when it's put a mod in the wrong place (like where one mod requires 2 other mods but it's loaded before one of those), but that's always been quickly fixed.

You should also make a merged patch with NVEDIT
would you recommend RobCo Certified or ARC?
RobCo seems to be the better one, but i dislike the lack of voice acting in the dialogue options and the weird looking walking animations, and doesn't have Eyebots
ARC has making the robots at workbenches and voice acting, but lacks the upgrade feature and don't use the default voices, so they don't sound as cool, it doesn't have Mister Handies, and i've heard they all have the same voice, too.
help i want robits
RobCo DOES have Eyebots.
[editline]17th September 2013[/editline]
Matter of fact, Eyebots are one of the most useful low-cap robots to have because of their repulsion field and targeter.

really?
as far as i know, the perks don't mention eyebots, and they blow up when they die, so you can't repair them
Oh wait sorry, you mean Fallout 3. I don't recall if Eyebots are in F3's RobCo Certified, it's been a really long time since I played it.
