Fallout Series Thread V14: When i entered this thread i was hoping there would be more gambling - Games

I've yet to play Fallout 3, but I heard a lot of people saying that New Vegas is much better, and although the Mojave is not as diverse as the Capital Wasteland, it feels much more lively than F3, which feels "bland and uninteresting". What do you think about that? Is F3 really worth playing or am I not missing much?

Once you get rid of the green filter; I personally prefer FO3's environment and world compared with NV. That being said, NV has infinitely better humour (though FO3 has its moments), more lore-friendly connections with the originals, and intelligent Super Mutants again. (I'd say play them both, because both are great. Just expect Gamebryo to be a bitch.)

somehow, i have a robot cap of 9 when i have one of each of the robots except for Sentry Bot, when it should be 8 I do have a Mister Handy back in Megaton that i made wait cause i didn't have enough space for one of each robot

I have all of the three cap increasing perks, and 9 Intelligence, so I have the maximum 12 slots(I think that's the max) because even after disposing of the Megaton Handy, I still have a mysterious 1 slot, which doesn't allow me to take any bots like Mister Gutsy and Alien Drones, cause I oped for Teslatron+Robobrain+Mister Handy+Laser Sentry Bot And how do I get Alien Drones? Oh, I had BR-14-N from the Mr Smith's Scrapyard mod join me, but I don't think he counted as a robot, and he also turned evil and tried to kill everyone and turned into a demigod And now, stories Alton had a pretty good storyline, and you could definitely feel that it wasn't black and white, based on the ending However... i wanted to get out as soon as possible cause i wanted to solve my robot problems the means of getting home is silly. how does one know how to [sp]drive a truck[/sp] if they've been in a vault all their life? When I got back to Megaton, I decided to tell my squad(consistent of mentioned robots, yao guai, and brahmin) to wait, and apparently, Ol' Tesla pissed 'em all off and they vaporized him. So I had to make a new one. Oh, and Cuddles died fighting other Deathclaws. R.I.P. Cuddles

Damnit, you keep mentioning different games it's fucking with me. You said the RepConn HQ in NV before, so I assumed you were playing that. I don't know if there are any for Fallout 3, but there might be. Then again, Intelligence doesn't affect your cap in NV's version so I don't even know.

i specifically mention megaton are you telling me megaton is in nv? i don't even have nv i only have fo3 and i only asked about repconn because i thought it'd be awesome to ravage the wasteland with a four-legged sentry bot and a car protectron yes i realize that it seemed like i had nv oh, and where do you find marcus i really need to find him bad

You can see a long road and travel there until you see snow. I think you can do a quest on Black Mountain that will you get a location.

They just shout louder and louder until someone has no choice but to give them attention.

when i get new vegas one of the first things ill do is get the cannibal perk, kill caesar, and eat his dick then ill do that to everyone that gives you meat of champions speaking of which how would i go about doing that if i wanted to go independent? and no one responds to my dick statement typical

Trying to play as a viking, this equates to me just using axe weapons, heavy drinking and drug use in battle, and throwing weapons galore.

I think I am going to get Terrifying Presence, considering that I always try to be as nice as possible during speech checks, it should be fun to suddenly threaten some unfriendly NPC's with beating them to death with their own spines.
