I always wish games had the weird pseudo-realism that Far Cry 2 had.
I'm drowning! I better pull out this bullet out of my arm and put my shoulder back in its socket!
Imagine combing this with the radiation system from Fallout "I have radiation sickness, better pull these old fuel rods out of my chest" [editline]10th October 2013[/editline] I guess it makes as much sense as chugging 20 gallons of water to shrug of plasma and lasers

my game crashes whenever i hit someone with my oh baby super sledge actually, it's been crashing a lot lately, and i don't know why it started happening when i got back from big mt
It's because you're playing Fallout: New Vegas.

It cleans up cache from interiors. You might gain some FPS too!
Say, didn't someone here make an updated PNP handbook? If so, is there a link to it somewhere?
Say, didn't someone here make an updated PNP handbook? If so, is there a link to it somewhere?
That was me, but I don't have the link (look a few pages back, it's been posted recently) as I wasn't the one to actually upload the damn thing
is there a mod that adds some sort of backpack or something to you when you equip a heavy weapon like the heavy incinerator or plasma caster? it's annoying to look at my companions that use such weapons look like they have nothing oh, and pic arcade what the fuck i thought you were gay [T]http://i.imgur.com/AdZRSR7.png[/T]
oh, and pic arcade what the fuck i thought you were gay [T]http://i.imgur.com/AdZRSR7.png[/T]
He's just thinking about going up and upstaging her with his far superior poll dancing.
Say, didn't someone here make an updated PNP handbook? If so, is there a link to it somewhere?
Here you go, in case you didn't bother looking
Since Ciaster is being a lazy bum and not compiling everything into a nice and convenient .pdf, I'll just post this anyway. To anyone interested in ever doing their own game of a Fallout PnP, I commissioned Ciaster to rebalance the rulebook, like items and stats and such. He did a pretty good job, but since it ended up being finished close to the end of our campaign, it didn't get to see much use. And so I present to you: Fallout: PnP Edition: The Rebalancing of a Once Terrible Book - By M. Ciaster, funded and with slight co-authoring by Aperture Fan Within the "Rebalance" folder, you will find a number of .txt files. Each file has a neatly organized list of items relating to the title of the file. If the titles confuse you, look at "Where to look for what.txt" and it should clarify things. You'll find a balance of most to all weapons, as well as several new additions for flavor. Just as well, we've concocted "special movement rules" such as sprinting, vaulting, diving, and so on, and even burst firing rebalancing to avoid the tactic of unloading an auto shotgun on something and hitting every shot, thus making skill levels above 100 or so actually worth investing points into. New and modified weapon mods, and even armor mods, have also been included. Within the Other folder, you'll see our custom Psyker race (which is a WIP but I doubt any of us are going to get around to finishing it) as well as stats for a custom Android race. The Mass Engagement Rules is a set of rules I was creating for large scale battles, but they're still unfinished and probably not very good. Still, it might help someone. There's also a .txt of critical hit and failure tables in there, for convenience. And finally, there's a Word document by Melting Data with several new perks of questionable balance. That's all I have to say about that, and so without further ado I give you the download link: http://filesmelt.com/dl/Fallout_PnP_Rebalanced.zip
We gotta post the pnp logs somewhere. http://thepenthouse.forumatic.com/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=8 This thing hasn't been updated in ages
Here you go, in case you didn't bother looking
I was going to eventually, I was busying screwing around in Terraria with a friend. Thanks a bunch though!
Just picking up Fallout New Vegas, how does the ending/s work in comparison to Fallout 3? Where there was just that ending and you couldn't continue playing, instead had to reload a save. Does NV work in the same way?

In the case of New Vegas there isn't a DLC to continue playing, so yeah make sure you did everything before the final battle. But there is always a mod that let's continue playing.

I bought it for Xbox, because I don't have a pc powerful enough to run such games. I struggle with Oblivion [and for some reason not S.t.a.l.k.e.r series??]
I feel like this song works so well for Raul.

Post your modlist.
how do i do that? i've never done that before but i'll try looking at my modlist and just typing what's active
Well, at first glance I noticed you're missing the MMUE Patch for WMX. I don't know for sure if that will fix your problem but I know that MMUE, when not properly installed, conflicts with quite a few mods and causes some random issues to pop up. Try that and see if it works. Your load order seems fine, but make sure to keep your merged patch up to date whenever you install a new mod.

It is such an unoptimized piece of shit and if you want to even use mods then you gotta put it on life support.

Which is terrible these days because everyone has a multi core system.
i mad i can't play the game i bought it crashes so frequently now i initiate combat i crash i hit something i crash hell, i even jumped one time and crashed when i landed anyone have any miracle cures?

Playing a Bethbryo game requires extensive labor before you can have fun.
I've never had any problems with Bethesda games. I do find the Elder scrolls boring though.
i've been able to play nv relatively crashless until about two days ago
i've been able to play nv relatively crashless until about two days ago
Try downloading that patch, if that doesn't work, see what happens when you disable Mission Mojave altogether. Have you done any tweaking to your ini? You really shouldn't be crashing to such an extent with so little mods. New Vegas is unstable but it isn't supposed to be that unstable. If all else fails, start disabling mods one by one until the problem is solved.

I do have a piece of shit budget gaming computer though.
