Anybody remember the name of that radio mod that adds all the songs that the game's quest names are based on?
speaking of raul raul stop it you can't have her [t]http://i.imgur.com/Esk3PGc.png[/t]
Oh god. Remember what happened last time when Raul became fond of some woman because she looked like Rafaela?
Try downloading that patch, if that doesn't work, see what happens when you disable Mission Mojave altogether. Have you done any tweaking to your ini? You really shouldn't be crashing to such an extent with so little mods. New Vegas is unstable but it isn't supposed to be that unstable. If all else fails, start disabling mods one by one until the problem is solved.
i downloaded the patch, which i think helped a little bit, and i did some tweaking like bUseThreadedAI=1 and iNumHWThreads=2, but that's it boy oh boy should i fucking read mod pages in case of vital information like fallout_default.ini changes
Try the anti stutter mod, it fixed some crashing issues along with stutter
i've had that since the beginning i've tried getting rid of mission mojave, but that just makes the game crash when a save if loaded [editline]12th October 2013[/editline] hey, do those ulysses mods near the beginning of the thread work together? like will the ulysses companion have the same face as the changed ulysses?
I've never had any problems with Bethesda games. I do find the Elder scrolls boring though.
Its usually just the mods that complicate things, but sometimes there are gamebreaking issues with just the vanilla game.
for me, with new vegas entering a new cell is CTD russian roulette
So... I've played a LOT of New Vegas, but only recently I realized that I haven't actually gotten any major mods for it. What are some of the better ones?
Project Nevada for gameplay overhaul, The Armory for weapons overhaul, Ojo Bueno/Nevada Skies/Fellout for visual overhaul, and WMX for weapon mod overhaul. There's also the New Vegas Bounties mods if you want more quests.
Nice, I'll check those out. Also, are there any animation mods worth using that don't make everyone look ridiculous? And this mod looks really nice: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/39325/? Can anyone here endorse it?
A few mods I can recommend include the NPC Project Series (For giving multiple locations much needed revamps.) Populated Casinos and pretty much any quest mod by the guy who made New Vegas Bounties. If you're looking for NPC variety, get FOOK and LPAM since they introduce new armors into the leveled lists.
If you're looking for a player home, I absolutely recommend the underwater home - it has pretty much everything. Other things not mentioned are Run the Lucky 38, which is an optional way of getting hella money over time, and More Perks, which does have some rather silly perks but also some really neat ones.

holy fucking shit the deathclaws in lonesome road are fucking 18-wheeler trucks with 8 rows of spikes dipped in fire i get knocked back so far from them i can't take it a ran out of stimpaks in my first encounter with them i had to use the flare gun just to make them not kill me within 5 seconds and i still need to hunt them down to kill them
just aim an anti-material rifle at their face from half a mile away unless you're a melee/unarmed character in which case you have my sympathies
all i use is melee/unarmed all my other weapon skills are like 11
Has anyone thought that Mojave Wasteland will be probably a very dangerous place in few years due to the chance of Tunnelers spreading? If people wanted to drive them to extinction, they'd probably need a god out of a machine. To be more specific, an Enclave scientist and a modified airborne FEV strain that would be engineered to bond only with Tunneler glyco-proteins. Then they would find a Vertibird out of nowhere and spread the disease around the Divide. Then they would celebrate like morons and be terrible people for the rest of their lives and that's pretty much it.
shit i got to the part where ED-E leaves you and i immediately encounter deathclaws and i'm low on flares
all i use is melee/unarmed all my other weapon skills are like 11
You're going to to use a high DPS weapon in this case with super slam as a perk, should make it easy to take them on. Try to isolate Deathclaws also, don't try and take them on at once.
i think Ulysses was going to stand guard in the Divide to stop the Tunnelers escaping, like hunting them down and shit. he could thin their numbers massively if nothing else
For some reason I didn't consider that Tunnelers aren't probably capable of burrowing through bedrock.

I consider them essential mods for my game because they fix the horrifying abominations that are some of the vanilla character models. There is really no reason not to have it in my opinion. You must make sure bLoadFaceGenHeadEGTFiles is set to =1 in your ini though!!! Or everyone will look fucked up.
Has anyone thought that Mojave Wasteland will be probably a very dangerous place in few years due to the chance of Tunnelers spreading?
I hear that was snuck in by one of the original fallout writers because he was absolutely sick of the idea that fallout was about picking up the pieces and progressing back into civilization. Apparently, fallout is about how terrible and primitive humanity is and that all kindness and attempts at advancement would be cruelly snuffed out, according to him. He managed to completely wreck Fallout 2 via the fallout bible and he threatened to do the same to New Vegas.
so i beat lonesome road awhile ago it was pretty fun, aside from the deathclaws i got the ulysses companion mod and i managed to convince him to join me, so yay oh, and i nuked ncr and legion cause fuck em
Lucky 38 Suite Reloaded is a really cool mod that turn the Lucky 38 suite into a proper home base with places to store your shit and a robot buttler who can automatically sort your stuff, he can even sort most mod items.
finally not drunk after consuming around 170lbs of alcohol I found in a building srs must have been drunk for like 15 levels
as fuck i wish i knew that i had to make the brotherhood side with the ncr to get them on my side when i'm independent, and i couldn't get rid of the old elder based on the dialogue, it seemed like hardin would have pledged allegiance to an independent vegas if i helped him so, because i lacked all that knowledge, i told yes man to ignore them
Anyone know how to recharge the stealth nano-bots cybernetic implant in Project Nevada?

It's usually wars between humans though, and I think that was thrown in so they'd always have some sort of conflict to base Fallout: The Next One on.

I'd say it adds a lot of depth to the lore, even if it's unrealistic.
