Guys what the fuck
Fallout: New Vegas is now three years old
Guys what the fuck
because Colonel Moore (i think that's her name? i forget) is super nuts. she's probably calling you a power-armored communist right now
The NCR public also distrusts the Brotherhood, them being violent reclusive technology fetishists
Kinda like Facepunch actually
Uhh... wasn't it said that the Mojave chapter is actually all that's left? After the extensive war with the remains of the Master's army, the NCR eventually kept pushing the Brotherhood farther and farther until they found somewhere they could hide where the NCR couldn't find them?
This is ignoring the DC chapter, of course.
There's the Midwest, obviously. And Veronica doesn't say that Mojave is all that's left of the western faction, just that the Brotherhood has been reduced to situations like the Mojave all over the place.
For the most part though the western Brotherhood is finished. The Midwestern and Eastern Brotherhood though, they seem to be doing pretty good.
A Colorado-based Fallout game, set in the remains of Denver through Colorado Springs and featuring the Brotherhood (camped out in Cheyenne Mt.) and the Legion would be pretty cool, I think.
Isn't Cheyenne Mountain one giant toxic nuclear crater?
Cheyenne Mt. appears in Tactics, but of course it's possible it's been retconned
Cheyenne Mt. appears in Tactics, but of course it's possible it's been retconned
Right, I was thinking of the West-Tec facility.
I'm actually left to believe the Midwest Brotherhood is either crippled or dead at this point.
Caesar mentions capturing Brotherhood scribes out east, and there's the fact that Centurions wear power armor pauldrons. Given that legion armor is meant to be forged out of fallen enemies' armor, and the amount of time one would need to be an experienced Centurion, the Legion must've fought the Midwest Brotherhood and won.
Of course the Midwest could've simply abandoned the area, not like the writers will ever say.

The Midwestern chapters stretched further east than Caesar's lands though, I doubt Caesar sent an army to march against Chicago. More likely they fought some smaller type wars while Caesar was on the rise and continue to fight the odd skirmish.

Well I doubt Caesar could manage to actually attack Chiago, but I'm sure he drove them out of Colorado.

what's a chiago
To be fair, pretty much every major faction in Fallout is a cunt.
BoS are techno-obsessed spergs more retarded than the Adeptus Mechanicus because at least AdMech are doing their game of intergalactic "IT'S SHINY SO IT'S MINE" in a functioning society.
NCR are nationalistic, territorial and colonialist dickbags who want only their way and are willing to enforce their way with the muzzles of 17,000 uneducated untrained acne-ridden conscripts.
Super Mutants are failed experiments to do good that relish nothing but brutalistic violence and conquest in pretty much every form. Even friendly ones are still violent murdertards.
Crimson Caravan are cut-throat capitalist douchebags who would probably hang you from the tallest tower if it meant they could get a better deal out of selling your hide. AKA "jus' one more cap, goyim"
Legion are sexist, rapist, fascist assholes a pair of jackboots away from being steryotypical. They're so reliant on their fucking go-daddy leader that the second he dies they'll fall prey to Ork syndrome and start squabbling within one another and die off within a year. They are basically fucking cartoon villains.
Chairmen SEEM okay, but they're pretty much just as bad as any other tribe out there in terms of cut-throatedness. They hold up values but they'll still put you in a shallow grave for even remotely glancing at them wrong.
Omertas are pricks.
White Gloves are snobby, stuck-up prats who would probably get massacred the second they tried to fight someone. (See that WKUK sketch where the british army dies to the US because they try to 'fight proper'. yes i'm aware of the irony, being british and saying that.)
Khans are Mad Max-wannabes who will probably be killed within two or three generations because of their foolish and impulsive actions.
Gun Runners are murderous war-profiteers.
Kings are thugs and bullies who 'keep the peace' while breaking people's necks for drinking from a water pump that drains from a borderline unlimited source without permission.
Followers are massive fucking hypocrites. They revile chems yet use them to heal their patients. They revile the NCR and other groups, yet lean on them for help and protection. They abhor violence, yet have more heavily-armed guards than doctors.
Van Graffs are murderous, cut-throat war profiteers who encourage violence and horror, and they side with the legion.
Pretty much the entire Fallout world sucks. I only covered the Mojave because fuck I can't remember all the groups and families in New Reno, and it's the most up-to-date.
You forgot Mr. House.
I covered him in my endings post, iirc. Plus, I didn't consider him as a 'group' because his securitrons are basically just extensions of him. Instead of changing clothes, he swaps securitrons and uses different ones for different tasks, like we use different vehicles and tools.
Ah, my apologies.
Here's the load order the Nexus Mod Manager has:

Try disabling Purge Cell Buffers.
Try disabling Purge Cell Buffers.
Agreed. Especially if it's happening during cell changes.
Also, pfft. Gun Runner's Arse. Every time.
one thing i like doing is planting c-4 on the guy that takes your stuff and then killing him so he doesn't take my stuff the next time
You forgot Mr. House.
Does he even really need to be said? The level of cunt on that guy is through the roof.

But he's the coolest of the cunts
I'm gonna try out fallout 3 again.
BINGO BANGLE BUNGLE IM SO HAPPY IN THE JUNGLE I REFUSE TO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I'm done.
I installed something in Fallout 3 and it disabled Steam overlay. I thought I deleted it but overlay still won't work so now I don't want to play it.

THAT SONG, I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD
THAT SONG, I SWEAR TO FUCKING GOD
I dunno about you, but I fell in love with just about every song on GNR.

New Vegas music was so disappointingly dull by comparison.
I just fell in love with music from the 1920s and 1930s after Fallout 3.
Radio New Vegas didn't have the same charm as Galaxy News. Anything Goes is such a great song and it fits perfectly. Listening to an upbeat and positive song about American progress and change in an American wasteland feels so great.
I try not to compare the GNR and RNV, the songs on each station fit their setting.
New Vegas has a lot more blues, country, and a small amount of jazz.
Like, if you think pre-war you can't really imagine a tough dude in a Vegas bar listening to Mighty, Mighty Man, and you can't really imagine a socialite in a nice D.C. establishment listening to Big Iron.
It's great hacking apart a ghouls and listening to Butcher Pete, just as its great to blast away Caesar's head with a Ranger Sequoia and listening to Big Iron.
new vegas should be more swing and jazz
i mean shit it's fucking vegas
While I don't mind the music on either, I didn't very much like the radio announcers for either. 3-Dog was ok I guess, but fucking Mr. New Vegas comes off as such a creep, and I hate having to hear him say one of like 5 different come-ons every time a song switches.

eden is best radio announcer obviously
TWENTY MEN HAD TRIED TO TAKE HIM TWENTY MEN HAD MADE A SLIP, TWENTY ONE WOULD BE THE STRANGER WITH THE FATMAN ON HIS BACK, FATMAN ON HIS BACK
fix'd, still i wish anyone but bathesda would make a fallout game, maybe theyd be able to put more PUBLIC DOMAIN songs into the game so you aren't killed by the 3 song reel

Both are meh, the big problem is how in GNR, you hear "Oh this person is the best person ever, but s/he killed ghouls that wanted a better life, so fuck you vault asshole." And RNV has that creeper.
Both acknowledge what you do, but I prefer RNV because its more of "third party contractor,", or "NCR President's life saved by an alert-thinking civilian." GNR is good if you are doing good deeds, but it can get annoying when you hear bad/good or good/bad about you.
I be hearin' y'all be talking shit about Mr New Vegas. Y'all best be ceasing that posthaste.
