What are some good graphical overhaul mods for fallout 3?
I like big iron.

I honestly do, it's one of the good songs I think.

Though Johnny Guitar can just go die in a fire.
I love all the songs in New Vegas, it's just they didn't have enough of them so they all got stale very fast
That was the case for both Fallout radios. If they'd had maybe like 10-15 more songs, it wouldn't have been so bad.
My problem with New Vegas's music is that I never really got to hear the good stuff, because half of the tracks were ones that I just couldn't stand. Johnny Guitar, Big Iron, It's a Sin... those kind of terribly boring, crooning tunes would make me scramble to switch off the radio. Mr House was pretty creepy, too.
I would've been much happier if there were more songs like this;

Instead, I just set up a shuffle playlist for bands like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, This Will Destroy You, or Explosions in the Sky, and chill to the post rock apocalypse.
Like it'd be great if there were a few more radio stations with varying music available but you can't expect that because of course you're walking around the wasteland - what did you expect?
I swear I'm the only person that plays with the radio off.
I've had to for the most part, since it would occasionally cause massive lag. To the point where I had to switch off radios I came across as well. It wasn't even an individual station or scene, I could literally go into a level with a radio on be fine, leave, come back because I forgot something, and now it's lagging. Leave and come back again, fine.

i turned the radio off after i heard johnny guitar for the 5th time...

I seriously didn't know the Pip-Boy had a radio until I was about to confront Benny and my friend offhandedly mentioned it
still, "mysterious broadcast" was a favorite for the longest time, at least instrumentals aren't as instantly recognizable as vocals
Any good news on Fallout 4 guys?
I've only played Fallout: New Vegas and I was God damn addicted to it, I had it on my old 360 and now I don't have the 360 no more, I own New Vegas on PC but got no PC, lol.
Hopefully I'll get a PC in the near-future and get down to playing Fallout again, it's like the best damn game I ever played.
I have a question. How good is Fallout 3 compared to New Vegas? I got New Vegas on my PC but i haven't played it much more...i think i'd like the Fallout 3 setting more with the apocalypsic feel.

Big Mt. Radio gets rather old when it's the only thing you can listen to while doing the DLC. I liked it for the variety before I did the DLC, but afterwards the songs had been burned out in the same way as the rest of the radio.

It depends on who you ask. F:NV has better gameplay, I think, but I much preferred the post-apocalyptic feel of Fallout 3 to that of F:NV. Some people have the complete opposite opinion, and some people say FO3 isn't even worth playing when you have New Vegas. Usually those people are the ones who have been around Fallout for longer, I find.
Personally, I have F:NV but I really want to play FO3 again instead right now.
I don't even listen to the radio in the games, maybe Enclave radio once or twice but that's it
Three-dog was annoying as fuck and NV had pretty forgettable songs
conelrad was better than both but even it got boring after a while. new vegas has great ambiance so I just listen to it, especially the tracks from fallout 1 and 2 are the best.
why do people say the dead money dlc is balls to the walls hard
all that's happened to me is my head asploded in that one hallway right before talking to christine

I personally prefer Fallout 3 over New Vegas, the atmosphere was just amazing and spot on for me. New Vegas had good atmosphere but I dont know theres just something about the Capital Wasteland that is really appealing to me. Theres a lot of things that were added in New Vegas that I wish were in Fallout 3, but for me they are both good games. I never could get into Fallout 1,2 since they are that turn based style rpg and I just hate that style.

I'm a huge fan of all of the games, I'm just not really good at replaying games. I only need to complete FO2 and FO: Tactics, then I'm all out of Fallout games to play. I really hope that a sixth game is in the works, otherwise I have to mod FO3 to death and play that again.
I'd like to see music in the next fallout. Not pre-war music, because there have GOT to be some people making new kinds of music, it's literally been hundreds of years and you're seriously telling me not one person has made a single new song? they have radio and the technology to make recordings, so there should be some sort of evolution of music. I'd love to see post-apocalypse metal bands and shit like that, or some dance club in LA that uses robot voices and turns them into techno songs for a club or something.
You can actually listen to some post-war music in the Aces Theater in NV once you recruit a couple acts.

it would be cool if they made new songs in the style of old ones, since i'd imagine the pre-war music on the radio is mostly the only commonly-found resource for it to take inspiration from. like, modern bluesy stuff
We need raiders playing blue grass, like an american version of the bandits in stalker SoC or metro 2033

Weren't there a few songs in New Vegas that were new?
I just finished the 2nd battle of Hoover Dam (with a play after main quest mod) and this happened...

Two of them act as one (if I add one, the other is added too) and one seems to be independent. I tried sending one to the lucky 38, and now they're all there.
Any ideas to fix this? It was a bit funny at first, but now it's kind of annoying.
Also, the independent one just wanders, like a normal npc.
EDIT: Upon further investigation, one is the original ED-E, one is the upgraded laser ED-E, and one is the upgraded armor ED-E.
EDIT: Killed the non-believers, all is good now.

Or perhaps given us the ability to toss our own MP3s in easily, ala GTA's User Track Station?

All you need to do now is somehow obtain Divide ED-E and unleash your duraframe army upon the wastes.

don't get any hopes until at least next E3 at best.
realistically probably an announcement sometime near 2016.
Just lost around 6 hours of work because I installed the wrong play after game ending mod.
I have a mod that adds a bunch of fitting music to Fallout 3 so the music doesn't bother me as much. I couldn't find one I liked for New Vegas.

If you haven't already tried it, check out CONELRAD Radio for New Vegas. I find the music to be very fitting and catchy.
Woo, pageking!
