BethesdaSoftworks uploads one of the original trailers for fallout 3, which came out years ago, just now to their youtube channel and disables comments? speculation time or nothing?

Comments are disabled too. Does anyone have a side by side comparison, just to see if anything major has changed?

This isn't really a surprise, as they uploaded all the Fallout 3 trailers to Steam not long ago.

I just compared that video to the one posted back at E3 2008, and the only real differences I could see is that the new one has stuff cut out of it.

I think it might just be the more gory parts of the video, like shooting bandits in the head and things like that. I don't think it's really anything important. It is weird that they've only uploaded this now, though...

Really, I've had that strange feeling that we're on the verge of a new FO game all year, though. Atleast details on a new one. Them editing five-year-old trailers and buying up a bunch of stuff online just makes me feel like it's going to be right around the corner. And I really hope I'm not wrong... :/

Really hope we get a workshop integration with the new Fallout

Do workshops have any sort of monitoring when it comes to quality? I'm fearing that the workshop will be just like Nexus; it's going to be filled with atrocious furfag and MLP mods, on top of "original weapon mods" which are just in fact vanilla weapons with slightly different stats.

I'd like to see IV be a reskinned Skyrim with guns, where they actually put development time into bug catches and making the dungeons realistic and unique. That was my one complaint about NV, is it felt rushed and crammed and not enough.

The contrast is completely butchered, neon lights are barely brighter than the ground, you can't see much detail in anything more than about 20 meters away and even the sky is a shade of brown.

I think they need to reverse their thinking of 'dumbdown everything for the peasants' approach they keep going on for all of their games and remember that it's for a core audience, but I don't see that happening. That's what I think separates it from the rest of the series, aside from the obvious engine switch.

I highly doubt there'll be any announcement tomorrow. You'd think there'd be talk about this on big sites like Nexus but I haven't heard a single thing about any of this outside of this thread.

I never claimed there will be one tomorrow. Just that I have a feeling some sort of official information will come about it this year. Probably E3 at the earliest, however.
