Yea but it caps your speeds and you have to set it up. AFAIK there isn't a cloud system so if you format or something then you'll have to go back to the Nexus and go back to the mods' page and download them again. Steam will do it through Steamworks.
Yeah, you do have to download them again, but you get track the mods, so that you can find out when they've updated, and redownload them without having to search for them.
Also, Mod Organizer or Wrye Bash should be used instead of NMM. They're both a lot more powerful than NMM, and feature less bugs. Mod Organizer is easier to set up, but Wrye Bash has a few features Mod Organizer doesn't.
I just figured out how to export fallout meshes to .stl files.
I'm going to 3D print EVERYTHING.

Though is there an easy way to modify the armors from the standard T-Pose so that I can do character pieces for a PnP session?
what printer do you have/are getting? seems kinda ambitous to do full scale with anything consumer grade

Solidoodle 3. 8x8x8 print area, quality on par with the replicator 2 from makerfarm. I'll split it into two jobs if I need to. That's for the small guns like pistols though, I would need a lot of sections if I wanted to do anything bigger. I've even got a little sentrybot figurine mocked up for when my printer gets here in a couple of weeks.

Print area is in inches, to clarify. ~20 cm=8 inches.

I opened it, clicked on random word and instantly won. I guess my hacking skill is on 100.

I've had the vanilla version since Christmas 2010 (no DLC or patches) probably logged at least 100 hours. Is the Ultimate edition worth getting for extra quests/content and glitch fixes?
Definitely. The DLC's are fucking astounding value for money.
I think I liked some parts of the dlc more than I did the actual game.

When I finish baking this down and making textures for it, does anyone in this thread want to port it into F:NV? I'm pretty sure it would fit the single-shotgun animations perfectly as it's based on the same gun.
Quick question: Is the steam version of FO3 very moddable? I have it on disk for PC, but I'm seriously considering buying it again with all the DLCs since my discdrive is broken.
I have had no issues with any mods using the steam version. As far as I know its as compatible as the disk if not more.

Thanks a bunch, I'll buy it immediately

I may be able to give it a go.

I wouldn't have checked to see if FO3 was on sale if I hadn't seen this, thanks!
how do i get the .bsa for the liberty prime companion mod
i go to the site and it's just a bunch of strange symbols
nvm got it
speaking of which
as it turns out it's not a good idea to stand next to a nuclear football as it goes off
I love Nuka Break. I wonder if they're making another season?
If I have mods for F:NV, will I have to disable them all to load TTW? I finally got FO3 GOTY and I really want to play them both.
Anyone here do fallout challenges?
...Which would be?
I think he means the Pip-boy challenges found in the Notes log
how do you merge that ulysses face changer mod and the ulysses companion mod? BOSS places the face changer in front of the companion one, so the companion overwrites some of the essential changes done by the face changer mod
and i'm a bit of a scrub when it comes to fnvedit. all i know what to do is make merged patches and edit values, and i can't seem to change a race with one added by another mod, hence my problems.

Then put the face changer behind the companion mod? Its not that hard.
