Fallout Series Thread V14: When i entered this thread i was hoping there would be more gambling - Games

does anyone know of a mod that makes it so factions like the great khans and brotherhood of steel can be encountered across the mojave? i wanna be able to fight brotherhood people without going to their bunker in the middle of nowhere [editline]6th November 2013[/editline] that's something in general i don't really like about new vegas compared to fo3 there are, like, no random encounters in new vegas, while in fallout 3, wherever you went, there was a chance of outcasts or regulators or talon company or enclave in new vegas its fucking random animals and assassin squads from legion/ncr only

It got to a point where I'd just fast travel to places and walk around for a bit, hoping that the Legion would have a hit squad waiting.

NVEC - New Vegas Enhanced Content Should i download just the bug fixes or the entire thing and just download the odd little things that strike my interest? Luckily it also prevents you from being swarmed by the giant wasps at level 3. Unless you seriously fuck up.

As for NVEC, the enhancements portion of the mod is great for all those little things you'd probably get anyways. I have two problems with it though; it's so comprehensive that there's a good chance it added something you don't like, and a few of the larger mods that are included like EVE and New Vegas Bounties are out of date. If you're willing to go into the GECK/FNV Edit and remove the things you don't like, as well as check the full mod list for important mods that have been updated since they were added to NVEC, I'd recommend it. If that sounds like too much of a hassle, you're better off just getting the bug fixes.

from Creedence I'd say you should have Midnight Special or Fortunate Son also I'd really recommend Ozone Baby from Zeppelin, it's one of their best imo

This was something I felt New Vegas did very well (Quarry Junction and South Vegas ruins, for instance) while overall retaining the humor tones.

'Goes against the setting' my narrow white ass.[/QUOTE] Better idea, go back to old school fallout style, top down point and click. i had more fun with Fallout 2 than with New Vegas and 3 combined, mods for the FPSRPG FO games made them slightly better, but there was a good modding community for 2. Keep that dark and murky atmosphere, but have everything outrageously wacky, like how the Bridge Keeper sends exploding brahmin at you if you attack him.
