Really guys, there's tons of confirmation bias here, just chill. Bethesda will announce it when they announce it, but until then we can't ignore the fact that the site was registered in Poland and the date's all weird.
hey guys
don't try to feed the GECK a 96000 Hz wav file
bad things happen
I've just recently started modding New Vegas, and something is happening where whenever I kill someone there's a popup saying "Words.....are appearing in front of me....They say....WE...ARE SORRY....FOR THE INCONVENIENCE......*sigh*"
[t]http://puu.sh/5iute.jpg[/t]
I can't figure out what the cause is and it's really annoying. Any help? These are the mods I have currently active:

I'm pretty sure it's a Douglas Adams reference, and I think it might have been cut from the vanilla game, but why it's appearing is beyond me
Hm, weird. I'll go through my mod list again and see if anything mentions it.
[editline]14th November 2013[/editline]
Found it. It was in Gun Runners Expanded. That's the only one I've had that restored cut content, odd that it also restored that. Thanks for helping.
how didn't i think of this before
there should be vehicles n' shit in the next fallout
i'd love to form my own motorcycle gang of dapper business men
[QUOTE=Bat-shit;42864778]You can play as a robot? Holy shit. How many mods do you have? And furthermore, wanna list some of the main good mods that you have?[/QUOTE]
Here is an alternate Robot race(s) if you want:

It is a Hitchhikers guide reference, [sp]God's final message to the universe. The last thing Marvin sees before he dies.[/sp]

I had that waiting to install for my next run, but then my computer died and I haven't gone back to NV. It looks really nice.
No idea if anyone's noticed yet, but the [url]http://thesurvivor2299.com/[/url] site now references some images in the code:
[img]http://puu.sh/5iEkh.png[/img]
When you try and access any of the images or the site they're on, it automatically redirects you to [url]http://fallout.bethsoft.com/[/url].
This is either definitely Fallout, or someone is going quite some way to mess with people.
Also note that Bethesda owns the [url]http://prepareforthefuture.com/[/url] site, which was used for advertising Fallout 3 stuff. The wiki goes into it more [url=http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Prepare_for_the_Future]here[/url].

eh i tried to play with that mod for a while but it wasn't actually all that interesting, mainly you can't really do much as the super security bot plus the movement penalty sucks. idk it just didn't jive with my play style

i think i tricked my pandora channel into playing fallout-fitting music...
i got a lot of johny cash, a bunch of jimmy dean, and right now i'm listining to the ranger with the big iron on his hip...

its so horendously expensive to use, but when your facing down like 10 deathclaws, it'll get the job done, also it makes a great over powered sniper-riffle as it only causes splash damage if people are super close togather.
Got this game on sale a while ago, and finally started playing a week or two ago. I think there's been a lot of comparisons made between F3 and NV in terms of story and exploration, but I think the real question that needs to be asked is WHY ARE THERE SO MANY LANDMINES!?
Maybe it's the lack of sleep, But I swear I'm hearing small like tidbits of words on the 2299 website I really cant make anything out but, It's Kinda creeping me out.

[QUOTE=Koleskab;42845753]Hmm. My fallout 3 worked perfectly yesterday, but now it snaps from fullscreen into some weird-ass windowed mode between the start-up slides. Any ideas?[/QUOTE]
For posterity, the only solution to this problem is to deal with it and frame-limit to 60. It's funny. I'm the one guy to get borderless fullscreen hazzle-free and all i want is to get back proper full-screen mode.

You're not hearing things, my partner is saying she can hear it too.

That's actually a [i]really[/i] good question. Fallout 3 was filthy in land mines. NV had some too, but NV was nothing compared to Fallout 3.

Mmmm, rail cannon. I do beg to disagree on it being expensive to feed, though. By the time I'm levelled enough to get that thing in the first place I've got over 3,000MFCs just sitting idle in my dresser drawer. Perhaps if you're using a mod that makes ammo more scarce it would be, but vanilla it shouldn't be hard to feed.
dear bethesda,
please don't make the story a bad father/daughter-son story about liam lesson

I want Liam Neeson to return as a man who runs around punching out deathclaws.
[editline]coop[/editline]
[I][B][U]IF THAT'S THE WAY YOU WANT IT.[/U][/B][/I]
Liam Neeson's new role as 'Deathpuncher-2299'. BethSoft.... make it happen.
"I will find that deathclaw, and I will kill it!"
speaking of liam neeson, i watched a video in history class not too long ago where he was the narrator
i think it was about socrates and romans and stuff
The guys who did the Elder Scrolls Lore series are now doing one on Fallout, great for people who are not all that knowledgeable about the story. I love their Elder Scrolls series.

Really? I don't remember very many landmines in New Vegas at all. The most I ever encountered was in Powder Ganger territory, which I guess makes sense for you since that's the first area you're meant to travel through.
By the way, DO NOT attack the giant wasps

Well I sure manage to keep finding them. New Vegas could probably switch to a doctor bag based economy at this rate.
I've been thinking about getting New Vegas. I invested a lot of time in fallout 3 and loved the game. Will New Vegas give the same feeling of adventure, isolation, and exploration that I loved about 3?
youll feel its more empty inbetween places (which is true) but its a desert so idk what people expect

New Vegas doesn't have quite the same feelings, but they're similar enough, I guess. There was much more civilization to NV than there was in FO3, and I felt like the map was smaller/more constrained - although more topographically varied - than FO3. There's adventure to be had, but it feels more like warped Wild West-type adventure than post-apocalyptic adventure like FO3. So there's not quite as much isolation, different adventure, and different exploration to the game. I enjoyed it a ton, though.
