idk why people would think the tumblr would be legit anyway, why would a big company like bethesda use a 3rd party site like tumblr in an ARG? just has 0 logic to it
with the countdown being 11.12.13 rather than 12.11.13 it would b funny if they just randomly set it in london
although maybe they just have a boner for consecutive numbers like 11/11/11 w/ skyrim
Just so everyone knows, there's no reason to be hyped over the tumblr sound files.
In fact, one of them uses audio blatantly ripped and slowed down from a youtube video.
(Source: http://survivor2299.tumblr.com/post/67187901556)
As interesting as they are, none of it is legit.
Also, just saying, that original youtube video is creepy as fuck.
I'm pretty on the fence but theirs other ways of contacting copyright holders other than email. The logic that if you cannot contact someone through email because of a closed account means they're not contactable at all is bad logic.
As a matter of fact the name of the dudes company is right on his page

17th of November, 2013 sounds stupid.

In most languages it's 17th November 2013
"Of" is overrated.

Dear lord that rolls off of my tongue even worse.
My mouth hurts :(
It's not so bad in French for example.

That's not how real grammar works, kid.
Does anyone know how to create weapons for F:NV? I'd love to see my model ingame.
I could help you out with that, just send me the model.
That's not how real grammar works, kid.
If you've taken a language other than English, yes it does. For example, in Ancient Greek the words can be in pretty much any order thanks to how the language works.
Even then I feel language should place a far greater emphasis on how words sound and feel in the mouth than how it looks.

"The 17th day of November, year of our Lord 2013," is the elongated form of the British date. So, more realistically, the continental form is more correct and Americans just simply said .!. to the British.

See I don't have a problem with that, the change in sounds isn't nearly as hard and they ease into each other.
This has gotten me extremely excited.

You do realize that people don't use those exclusively?
People don't say 17th of November, 2013 every time nor do they say November 17th, 2013 every time. Its all just dependent on whether it fits right in a sentence.
So on New Vegas, I levelled up right before going into VATS and now I seem to be stuck at level 24 even though I gain xp. Is there any way to fix this?
Nvm. It fixed itself.
ISO date is best date

First bit is old, music is "WTF?!".
I haven't played Fallout 1 or 2, but i've seen lots of people say Fallout 3 ruins the canon. Can someone explain what the problems with it are?
If I played Fallout: New Vegas as my first, will I be able to enjoy 3? Can I freely travel through Capital Wasteland or are there forced ways?
I might get Fallout 3 when I get a PC too. I currently only have NV.
I'm sure you'll like 3. A few of the features are missing, and the quirky dialogue is a bit more subdued; but it's still a great game. And yes, you're free to explore however you wish once you get out of 101 and into the world. Bethsoft rarely does a linear game as the main game.

Also, I deserve clocks, but I just finished the Pitt for the first time ever today and for once felt like neither of the two paths leave you with the 'good or bad' path, but rather just that mutual 'this place sucks.'

You can try installing tale of two wastelands, play both in the same game but with the better New Vegas engine, it does however have a few weird bugs but its perfectly playable
The Pitt is also really underwhelming, it has like 7 quests.

The problems are people lack the capacity to talk to the in-game NPCs or interpret contextual clues.
I think the canon problem mostly is "BoS goooooood,Enclave baaaaaaad". And that the Enclave was basically whiped out during 3,but still had bases, vertibirds, soldiers etc.
