What the hell, I have this "Armored Businesswear M" which seems to be Light-armor with decent stats and thing, but as I was surfing New Vegas wikia, I couldn't find it anywhere. Tried google and everything.

Are you using mods? Because I don't remember this item on Fallout: New Vegas.

The institute? Like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology? In Boston?
The institute? Like the Massachusetts Institute of Technology? In Boston?
there are a lot more institutes than that
there are a lot more institutes than that
But it would relate to the setting that's rumored, (Boston-area).
+ It might be related to the BOS, because technology.

What's so special about a fallout-like ripoff?
What's so special about a fallout-like ripoff?
how do you know its a Fallout ripoff?
Is XRE - Cars any good, or is it plagued by problems?
MIT is the capital of the Commonwealth.

It is referred to as "the institute" once or twice in FO3, too, but there's also the place where the BOS originated from out west.
Finally tweaked New Vegas into playable condition. Are there any mods that would be best for a first playthrough or should I just do vanilla?

project nevada
Is XRE - Cars any good, or is it plagued by problems?
it works great. a little buggy and it might be hard to get it working properly, but the last version I tried was well over a year ago so they've almost definitely made some improvements since then.

Do not listen to this man. Go vanilla for your first 2-3 runs.
Why does everything go twice as fast if you disable vsync? The mouse felt horrible with it on and when I turned it off all the lip sync is done in half a second and my guy runs like an olympian.
because it is a piece of shit.
V-sync that is.
It's basically your video card tripping up the game to make it look a little prettier.

Awop it is then, good that I downloaded this mod.
Is there any way to disable the over exaggerated screen-bobbing and motion blur when sprinting in Project Nevada? It's really distracting and it's giving me a damned headache.

Did you seriously just join to post that?
Do not listen to this man. Go vanilla for your first 2-3 runs.
As a player going through his first playthrough of NV, I have to actually disagree, I love the Project Nevada.
Although I am not sure if it's working properly for me, as the Mod configuration seems lacking.. somehow.
It still haunts me to this day that I got 19/20 bobbleheads in Fallout 3 only to find out the one I was missing was in Megaton, which I nuked at the very start of the game
I just wanted to see if you actually could
Man, you totally could
Do not listen to this man. Go vanilla for your first 2-3 runs.
Project Nevada is probably a bit much for a first playthrough, but mods that fix bugs, reduce crashes, and improve performance can't hurt.
Do not listen to this man. Go vanilla for your first 2-3 runs.
nah, just the first run is all you need to go vanilla. it's like stalker, you play the game in its original state once through the story and then you know the works of the map and what not, and then you mod it to hell.
I really want to play FO3 but I lost my GFWL disk
fuck

Atleast you didn't get your copies of both fallout 3 and new Vegas stolen and sold for little to no money. Although I'd like to see him try and steal my steam versions of 1,2 and tatics.
