If it does take place in Boston/New England I want 80% of the enemies to be mirelurks.
So that gives us another date? "seven zero four two two nine nine" is obviously 7042299, which could easily be 7/04/2299. So either 7th April 2299 or 4th July 2299.
Coincidentally, that matches up with one of the numbers on this page: http://thesurvivor2299.com/V137/
Most likely 4th of July, if the Fallout American Jingoism still stands.
has anyone heard this yet?

[sp]apparently its the music for the fallout 4 teaser, might be fake[/sp]
Maybe the radio will be nothing but grunge
and the ghouls will be wearing cargo shorts and tshirts over longer tshirts
Most likely 4th of July, if the Fallout American Jingoism still stands.
Yeah, 4th July is more likely, there's just a chance it could be 7th April considering the other dates the site has used.
What happened to all the other countries according to the lore? I'd love to see some of the other countries, imo. The UK would be pretty interesting seeing all the shit there, but it's probably wiped off the face of the Earth or something.

Straya would probably look exactly same

Not even a nuke would want to go there with all those critters.
Fallout in Australia would pretty much be "Ant Horde Massacre Supreme"
Australia should be completely untouched, and the game should just be about you battling the regular wild life.

Australia's animals are bad enough WITHOUT mutations.
I'm so angry if this site is real and Bethesda's making the next Fallout
because it's going to have the flash factor and draw you in but in the end it's going to fall flat on its face and fuck up any attempt at depth in gameplay or story or anything else
and i'm probably going to end up buying it anyway
Fuck Cazadores holy shit. A group of just 4 tore my end game character apart, fucking poison.
a fallout game in Chicago would be cool because Fermi labs is near by, its the birthplace of nuclear power, also if we have a legion of romans and Elvis impersonators, I can on!y imagine there's a bunch of mobsters armed with laser rcws and they ride around in alcohol powered ford v8s doing raids
[editline]24th November 2013[/editline]
maybe in fallout time Fermi labs was converted into a massive underground vault for continued research into nuclear physics and maybe Chicago developed into a massive nuclear research town because it was where the atom was first harnessed in the 1930s
[editline]24th November 2013[/editline]
or the mob built a series of underground vaults throughout the city to take advantage of the inevitable war...also they had a few friends in vault tech to help them do it and now they are in a war with the tail end of the legion which is trying to scour the city for men resources and weaponry
Speaking of which I'd like to see a more animated world, including some form of vehicular transport.
He'll even if it's a slow as hell busted old rust-bucket I'd be happy. If the NCR can get a monorail working and the Enclave had a giant Mobile Base Crawler and the Brotherhood can get Liberty Prime working then I'm sure a group of wasteland settlers with half a brain could make some form of buggy to whiz around in.

And that is why you always should loot every vial of Antivenom you come across, you muppet.
Hell, the only time I had trouble with Cazadores so far, was at the ruined Tribal Village north of Goodsprings, where my low-leveled arse almost got handed on a silver platter after ED-E got swarmed by six of them. It was a good thing that I had just the stuff needed to make Antivenom at the campfire there and a few Stimpaks to spare. And one single 10mm SMG was enough to kill them, as long you VATS'ed their wings off.
Leave Zion or stay in Zion, I can't never decide, both choices has good and bad endings. Why isn't there an option of just kill their leader by yourself without the help of anyone?
What're the key differences between Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas? I know about the lack of iron sights and generally worse story but I don't remember much else.
I played through Fallout 3 when I was hella young so I don't remember much about it but I'm curious to play it again. I don't know whether I should use the requiem for the wasteland or whatever the mod was called either since that seems to change quite a lot.

I used to hate Cazadores to. Now the Cazadores hate my Anti-Material Rifle.
Just like everyone else in the game.
I recommend doing a playthrough where you kill every single NPC. It's so much fun, oh god.
Obviosly after you've beaten the game a few times. You just start the game, try to get the best equipment, go treasure hunting, and kill everything. So awesome. Really changes the way you play the game.
Talking about New Vegas, obviously. Makes use of every NPC being killable. It's excellent.
Fallout new vegas seems to be alot more robust with mods.
I have a couple of mods installed for Fallout 3(like 25ish) and it keeps crashing when saving(still succeeds) compared to F:NV 80ish with stress(alot of spawns).
just made everyone in novac 5'2, every time I go there it's going to be a dwarf town
Does anyone know of a Darnified UI with all the HUD customization options for NV? Can't find it, and I love it in fo3
He never finished the full NV version. There's only the basic improvements version, beta 8 or something like that.

It's going to look awesome but then just end up as a dunegon crawl. Like Skyrim, like Fallout 3.
It isn't that dungeon crawls are necessarily bad (although I dislike the genre), it is because that misses the point of what Fallout is meant to be. I can only hope they learn from their mistakes. I mean, at least Dawnguard had interesting characters (Not sure about Dragonborn, haven't tried it yet) so maybe there's that?

I don't know about anyone else, but New Vegas is horribly unstable for me with Tale of Two Wastelands. It crashes maybe every 2 hours but some DLCs, like The Pitt, are guaranteed to crash.
I used to hate Deathclaws, until I figured out that the Anti-Material rifle can kill them in one shot sometimes (if you get a headshot with critical strike) or at two or three shots if it hits the in the body or limbs. After that I didn't even have to worry about them at all.

Here's my guide to cazadore killmurdering:
Shoot the wings.
I found that the Holo Rifle from DM is an effective Cazadore repellant.
I have 70 activated mods for fallout 3 and it works fine.

DB is pretty good in that regard. Pretty much the only place you can go to avoid the "Ankle deep ocean" problem the base game has....which is causing me some issues. I can't find anything to fucking do anymore and I've only gotten to 45 in Skyrim. :v:

I've noticed the instability too. It's to be expected when you're asking the engine to load two games at the same time. I'm half-tempted to turn it off for my next Courier on stability grounds.
Here's my guide to cazadore killmurdering:

Exploding them is equally effective. Also gives me a reason to use the 130+ frag grenades and 50+ mininukes sitting idle in my loot chest.
Didn't see it posted, site appears to have changed again.
