Welcome to mods for practically every moddable game.
The only games I haven't seen a porn mod for that could be modded are the Total War games. Oh wait
Alright, just did my first playthrough of new vegas, Second playthrough time. Energy weapons or melee?
Melee. Look for the "OH BABY!" Trust me, you're definitely gonna be saying 'OH BABY'
You may want to decide between Melee or Unarmed too because each has its own perk requirements.
I have been thinking about it, and I have decided I will make a granny playthrough. No points in Agility and Perception, all to Luck and Charisma, I'll go melee weapons at first and later maybe choose explosives, because why the hell wouldn't I want to see an old woman firing a nuclear bomb at some fiends?
I'm trying to RP a desperado is murdering a woman then stripping her naked to wear her clothes something in character
Ask the Garrett twins for work, they'll tell you to kill their last enforcer and he has the bounty hunter duster. That way you get paid, have a sweet duster, and aren't locked out of Red Lucy's questline.

For extra awesomeness points, find a way (or mod) to make Maud's Muggers follow you. Forget the Fiends, this gang will utterly terrorize the Mojave!
i bought fallout 1, but it crashes every time I try and explore whatever is four tiles east of the starting tile :(

I just bought The Fallout Pack on Steam for the sale, and the colors are all fucked up on Fallout and Fallout 2. I solved the problem, so I figured I should explain it here in case anyone else runs into it. Sorry if this is late, or if there's a less tedious solution, but it's the only way that works for me (without installing that patch)
TELL ME all of you guys are going to use the high-resolution fix.. In addition to running the game on your desktop, it also injects other modern features. MUST HAVE.
I'm having trouble with Yes Man. How do you tell him that a faction is your enemy? I slaughtered and am vilified by the Brotherhood of Steel and Great Khans but my only option is "ignore them".
uhhhh I have ancient copies of FO1 and FO2 on disc I should really check if those still run :v
Just finished 'Old World Blues' as the first piece of New Vegas DLC I've finished. The ending was pretty great, and the writing was way above-par for a Fallout game. I loved all the dialogue, especially with Mobius and [sp]your own brain.[/sp] The gameplay was kinda meh, just sort of walking from place to place fighting robot dogs and robot scorpions which is a pain since I was spec'd in guns and had hardly any AP ammo. The writing definitely makes up for it though, imo. I can't believe it took me until the end cutscene to figure out Big MT = Big Em(p)ty, though.

Forgot how shit hacking is in fallout

There, now you can actually be somewhat effective and stylish at the same time!
Forgot how shit hacking is in fallout
After near a thousand hours combined from Fallout 3 and New Vegas + all the games DLCs I only realized a year ago that there are brackets and such that remove "duds" in terminals. Thats what I get for not reading the tutorial! It's still shit though.

Just turn the terminal off and go back if you're about to run out of lives. They refresh.
Hundreds and hundreds of hours too and I fuck up very easy hacks because I still don't get it Its all luck right? just keep picking random words until 1 works
it tells you how many letters are right when you pick one of the passwords, so you just apply that and use process of elimination. so if it tells you that none of the letters in "Password" are right, then you know that it can't be "Hallpass" because they share letters
Is a bit easy-medium to me, requires a little of thinking. Between all the possible answers there are parentheses  and all the kinds of brackets, all you have to do is hover the mouse and try to find pairs, clicking on them either will remove a possible answer or reset the numbers of try. After finding them all and you have to do is click the words and see how close you get in letters. After that is just think until you get the right answers. Plan B is just close the computer and try again.
They were too busy putting the time into the Veteran Ranger's outfit which imo looks pretty mediocre at best until we got the Lonesome Road one
This really bugged me. I remember seeing the it from the teaser trailer and thinking "oh my god that looks fucking badass" [thumb]http://www.sghi.info/GL/img/Post.Nuclear.PC.Games/Fallout.New.Vegas_concept.art/10-02.04_Fallout.New.Vegas_teaser.trailer.01_snapshot_01.40.jpg[/thumb] but then we got this [thumb]http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120413155432/fallout/images/8/80/NCR_Ranger_combat_armor.png[/thumb]
My hacking strategy is: 1- Pick the first 3 words 2- Click all the paired brackets to get allowance / remove duds 3- Pick the next 3 words 4- Exit and repeat until I get it
Guys it's not hard. It's literally Mastermind with words. It's one of the best mini-games in the series.
My New Vegas crashes every time i start it :C No mods only vanilla, did a clean install and still the same. Anyone got any idea?
gotta love it when the game decides to shit itself and not let freeside work without crashing

So I met the Legendary Bloatfly... I died in one single hit. That is too OP.
it tells you how many letters are right when you pick one of the passwords, so you just apply that and use process of elimination. so if it tells you that none of the letters in "Password" are right, then you know that it can't be "Hallpass" because they share letters
I thought that the letters had to be in the same position? For example, "ignition" and "scrubbing" having different amounts of incorrect letters because the "ing" isn't in the same place in "ignition".
it looks the same. literally the only difference is the poor detail because of gamebryo and it not going with the wind
If it wasn't on the worst engine on Earth I'm sure the veteran ranger gear would look amazing, some cloth physics and more detail would be top It looks pretty cool now but its definitely being held back
i fucking hate hacking because it always give me replenishes when im already at full, and it never gives me any replenishes when im at 1 attempt left. its like terminals have a personal vendetta or something to make life as hard as possible also i was just wondering, is there any mod like sounds of skyrim for NV? just adding in ambient sounds to liven it up or something like that
If it wasn't on the worst engine on Earth I'm sure the veteran ranger gear would look amazing, some cloth physics and more detail would be top It looks pretty cool now but its definitely being held back
byond is the worst engine on earth
