Fallout 4 needs slice physics. Like if you have a sword and swing it, and it cuts diagonally, the body should be sliced that way.
Fuck, the GRA challenges are goddamn impossible. Those and the NCR questline achivements are literally the only achivements I don't have, plus The Sunset Sarsparilla quest, which I call bullshit on anyone ever completing.
About the Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Caps Quest, I managed to get 50 before even entering the Strip.
I've also not dived into any deep caves or Vaults.
I might write up a guide how to get to 50 easily when I've got more free time at my hands.
You just need to look carefully for bottles of Sunset and clusters of Caps. Most of the time there is a Star Cap present.
As for the GRA Challenges, the 2-star achievement is the easiest, due to how many challenges you can do for that, and you need weapons that aren't that rare. The 1-star challenges might take a bit longer, as you need certain types of weapons which aren't exactly common to clear at least three of them. The 3-star challenges however, are the ones you need to plan a bit if you don't want to whittle Deathclaws down to a shiver of their health to end them with the weakest weapons in the game.
You probably have to limit your weapon options in dealing with one of the two factions.
It will probably take more time than that it is hard, as with most of the challenges.
There are two pretty major things that bug me with this whole Survivor 2299 thing. Number one, of course, is the fact that Bethesda let it go on so long and get so popular without doing anything. But what REALLY pisses me off is all the people who go "Hah, I knew it was fake, it was obvious everybody! Duh!" after the fact.
I still can't get my new Vegas to work past doc Mitchell giving me the pip boy. Every single time, it crashes right after the hardcore mode selection menu closes. I have no idea what's wrong, because I've deactivated all dlc and mods, and still it crashes. Could anyone help me, please?
Anyone? Please?
Verify integrity of game cache if you're on steam. Otherwise you may have to reinstall.
Lol I got the mr house duster from lonesome road, even though I killed him

Mr House duster?
We've got a clean table again. New Vegas 2 is once again a possibility, and I could not be happier.
You know there's not a chance in hell of that happening right? :v:
And even if they did it wouldn't be Obsidian doing it, it'd be Bethesda, so everyone would complain about Bethesda "doing it wrong".
I'm actually happy because the info we got from survivor2299 seemed to heavily indicate the presence of The Institute and other Bethesda inspired crud in 'Fallout 4'.
What crud!
We've got a clean table again. New Vegas 2 is once again a possibility, and I could not be happier.
Haha no it's not
Then why did you click it
I didn't, he linked it after people complained.

Didn't Bethesda say literally. "The Mojave Desert is an interesting place isn't it?"
That more or less confirms that we're staying in the core region.
because of thesurvivor major disappointment, someone needs to make a nuclear winter wonderland playlist on youtube with classic Christmas songs
I can't listen to Ron Perlman in both games without picturing Hellboy.
http://thesurvivor2299.com/fuckyou.php
it pretty much was a big fuck you to everyone
haha shit, i might have to bookmark this for future use.
Um, wasn't a nuclear winter mentioned in the first game around the year 2160? It was responsible for the Master having a lull in new "recruits" for his army.
I could be wrong, I haven't gotten that far into it yet, but that is what I read on the wiki.
Nope. Avellone thought at first a nuclear winter was plausible, but later found out what it entailed - and the implausibility - and retracted the statement. 2161 is when FO1 takes place, so if there were a nuclear winter in 2160, you'd be fucked when you left the Vault.
2103-2130: Throughout this period, the Master begins slowly gathering test subjects, willing or unwilling, from local human stock. The Great Winter of 2130 and the scarcity of human subjects make building his army difficult.[15]
Evidently the Great Winter was just a really fucked up winter probably brought on by the massive damage to the world during the Great War, and not a true 'nuclear winter'.

Please no.
I loved New Vegas but having the setting be the exact same place takes out all pretense of exploration and excitement. It is one thing to explore places from Fallout 1 and 2 because those were so long ago and in such a different style, but just going back to New Vegas would feel very cheap and not fun.
The Core Region like it was in FO1/2 is probably now more on par with the developed Middle East in terms of construction and civilization. Not modern-day Israel or so, but places like Fallujah. This is why Chris Avellone probably wants to wipe the NCR's slate clean, since Fallout's emerging less apocalyptic by the installment.

I mean, Vault City was booming, Shady Sands was expansive as hell, and since then places like Aradesh and Maxson have been established.

I'm hoping this secret is Fallout at VGX.
What if fallout 4 takes place on china where the american bombs fell?
What if fallout 4 takes place on china where the american bombs fell?
This has been discussed before, American Culture is too important to the series to set it outside of the U.S.
What if fallout 4 takes place on china where the american bombs fell?
It would be awful. Part of the charm of the games is their setting. If it didn't take place in a 1950s-esque McCarthyian Dystopia, a lot of the flavor and themes would be lost.
It needs to be in the USA. It just doesn't work anywhere else.
My predictions for tonight on the VGX.
Todd Howard walks out on stage, as the lights go low and a spotlight solely on him. Then the screen turns on to show a Fallout 4 logo as Todd points at it.
"See that game? You can play it."
And Fallout 4 is released the next day.
...
Come on Bethesda, make it happen! :v:
The only thing I really want from FO4 is to see what 3/NV endings they make canon and how the organizations of the wasteland have changed.
