Is the nexus down or something? I keep trying to use the NMM to download stuff but I always get different error messages.
so after reinstalling new vegas to wipe my shitty mods I took the time to install NMC, worked well then NV interior lighting thing. CRASHES EVERYWHERE!
Probably a ram issue, NMC is known for causing them. Try Ojo Bueno or Poco Bueno with FNV4GB launcher.

yep they took off the login servers too
Does the 4GB Launcher start the Script Extender? I assume yes.
Also, the Mod Manager crashes every time I try to open the Fallout 3 section. And it only crashes for Fallout 3. The log says something along the lines of "Value cannot be null", any way to fix it?

No. Get FWE, seriously.
I also recommend Vurt's flora overhaul set to "Forested" as well as the grass settings edited as the dude recommends, DC Interiors, DC Moods, Fellout, Imaginator etc (if the last 3 are compatible with eachother, they should be)
Oh my, New Vegas feels smaller to me than it's ever felt before.
It feels like in 5 hours IRL time I could just get to New Vegas City itself from goodsprings if I only do the They Went That-A-Way quest.

I'm not understanding you.
You could get to the Strip from Goodsprings in much less than an hour, much less five.

If you went the legit route. You know, GS to Primm to Nipton to Novac to Boulder City to Vegas.
AKA feels like short and small game if main quest is only done.

That's probably because the bulk of Fallout games is everything other than the main quest.

It probably feels small to me because I know the map too well. Like I got that shit memorized by pictures in my head.
It probably feels small to me because I know the map too well. Like I got that shit memorized by pictures in my head.
That would do it. Kinda removes the mystery and sense of exploration if you know everything.
Imagine a Fallout game taking place right after the war with a much more serious tone than the previous games. It could be based on the story of the Survivalist. Like, have it make the player start out with the mercy killing of the blind couple, trekking to Zion. As they went from place to place, different objects they found would trigger flashbacks from before the war. The different events in the survivalist's life would take place and the player might be able to change the outcomes in order to change the general feeling of the ending from more hopeful to more cynical. A good song to describe the general feel would be "Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

You could go straight from Vault 101 to Vault 112 to find your father, which can be done in less than the time it takes to get to the Strip, if you take the long way.
wat do i do nexus mod manager thinks it cant access the nexus login server

I'm getting like 25-30 FPS with no suttering how the fuck is that possible.
[editline]8th December 2013[/editline]
But techinally speaking should I use Ojo or NMC?

Still, that's like going from Good Springs to New Vegas, you take half of the game away, and still got to do the other half. It's just in NewVegas, to skip half of the game, you would have to do harder things.

That's the point I'm making. (I think, your grammar towards the end is confusing me)
New Vegas' main story is longer than Fallout 3's.

I just fixed the grammar, tell me if it's still obfuscated
New Vegas' main story is longer than Fallout 3's.
It's also more varied.
Wait, when did we start comparing the games? That's bound to start something in the thread lol.
You ever taken a good hard look at the Deathclaw breathing animation? Because let me tell you:

I don't think anything looks nearly as frustrated as this deathclaw right now.
why does that look like a Korean mmo
Monsters, very vibrant background, bill board advertising ass in the background. TBH if you didn't know this was Fallout or what Fallout is you could easily think this is a Korean MMO.

It looks nothing like a Korean MMO, I don't even see one woman in full plate lingerie.
What's the recommended weather/lighting mod for fallout 3 as fellout seems to be 90% broken for me.
Is there any reason why every single black character I run into in Fallout 3 and New Vegas has a white face that looks completely different from the original face of that character, way more pale than the standard white character colour, with a black body?

Mods and/or Gamebryo.
Good times, I've managed to play over 25 hours of New Vegas without crashing or glitching once. Not once did I have a CTD and the most significant contribution to this feat is the new Anti crash mod. This has never happened before in any of my playthroughs. For reference, I'm using the ultimate edition with these mods:
- New vegas anti crash mod
- 4gb patch
- Stutter remover
- Mission Mojave 10 (the unofficial patch)
- unrelated mods: body replacer, blues radio, MMC texture pack, populated casinos, custom home markers, underground hideout, GRX implant hotkey
Mods and/or Gamebryo.
That could be used to answer so many questions about bethesda games.
