Looks like TTW really hates Op. Anchorage. I keep randomly crashing for no reason.
i had the same problem. in addition to that, the music doesn't work.
I find the best solution to death claws to be an Anti-material rifle loaded with explosive rounds. I'm not sure how effective that is without a decent guns skill though.
a sniper rifle with hollow points works pretty well too imo.
Deathclaws have very high DT, the ones in The Divide especially so. You need something to pierce their thick hides, so yes bullets would probably be better. Also you should have saved Lonesome Road until last, its more effective that way. Still if you haven't done Old World Blues you're in for a good time.
actually i know from the wiki, those deathclaws scale with player level, which means they are actually easier to take down when you are like lvl 5 with and OP anti-material riffle which you can barely use, than when you are lvl 40 because no OP guns exist when you are lvl 40 [editline]10th December 2013[/editline]
Am I just being a dummy and need to loose some actual lead?
tunnelers are absurdly strong against everything, but i had the inversion proton axe with some upgrades and it was 1-shotting them after i got tired of wasting the bullets. also the flair gun lets you scare them away if too many of them come at you [editline]10th December 2013[/editline]
Also, I recently went through Vault 22 because I'm slow and a pussy and just got around to it, and the incinerator might be the most useful thing ever in there.
vault 22 is really the easiest of all the vaults, if you don't go into overseer's chamber, the only quest that takes you there is the one for the pump for the BoS bunker which is easy enough to get since its just in one of the semi-flooded rooms. i usually deal with the overseer's chamber by placing a shitton of pulse mines which i usually have because i have stopped by helios 1, then i use a stealth boy, and let the big robots die on the mines, then i vats the turrets as best as i can or grenade them
Looks like TTW really hates Op. Anchorage. I keep randomly crashing for no reason.
I remember TTW being buggy as all hell when I played it last year. I'm guessing its not been much improved upon since then?
So I've reached Klamuth in Fallout 2. Fuck me, this game is so difficult.
I remember TTW being buggy as all hell when I played it last year. I'm guessing its not been much improved upon since then?
It hasn't been updated since lol. But they are working on a big update right now.
I always find myself siding with the NCR, They seem to hold most of the Old World values the US did, along with all of the bureaucracy and government gridlock.
Finally! I managed to mod my courier to actually have abs/muscle tone instead of looking like a super model in terms of physique. :v: (Thanks to the power of normal maps from Skyrim for the Nord women.)
Does anyone know any site where they sell cool fallout merchandising?
Does anyone know any site where they sell cool fallout merchandising?
I got a neat NCR T-shirt at the Bethesda store on their Black Friday sale.
Wanna show some pictures? I'm interested.
Sure! I took a screen to show the abs to my partner anyway. [img_thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/55414661/Pictures/New%20Vegas/New%20Vegas%20-%20Adriana%27s%20Abs.jpg[/img_thumb] (And yes, that's that Liberty Loft mod, I'm trying to mod it to be more lore friendly and that spot has nice atmospheric lighting for taking screens.)
Can anyone explain to me why the quest I make for my radio station won't save when I save the file in the GECK? It forces you to make a new copy, but that copy seems to contain only what you just added to the file and not what was previously added to the open file. IE there is no quest or talking activator in the GECK after I save, but if I return to the other file everything bar new changes are there. Leaving me with a silent, pointless radio.
Hunting Rifle with AP rounds basically kills anything if you have GUNS 100 and also crit bonus perks and stuff.

Just wish it didn't look so airbrushed.
There isn't that much but at least it's better than vanilla. Just wish it didn't look so airbrushed.
Yeah, it's hard to do much more without modifying the meshes, which I'm not really capable of doing at this point.
i personally killed all the think tanks at the end and let mobius live. got fed up with the boring quests :v:
I beat all of them, Mobius included to death with that tesla coil melee weapon you get. Was worth it. Fun as fuck.
I always find myself siding with the NCR, They seem to hold most of the Old World values the US did, along with all of the bureaucracy and government gridlock.
I take it all for myself.
What happened to the guy who said he was 3D printing weapons and models from Fallout 3/New Vegas?
Hunting Rifle with AP rounds basically kills anything if you have GUNS 100 and also crit bonus perks and stuff.
Bonus points for style, too. Scoped bolt-action rifles best rifles
I remember TTW being buggy as all hell when I played it last year. I'm guessing its not been much improved upon since then?
It crashes a hell of a lot and there are some inconsistencies (Super Mutants are stronger than intended, and so are the Enclave) meaning the main quest is far more difficult, but the mutants still scale with the player meaning that adding a few more levels first only makes the matter worse. Doctor's Bags are less frequent than they should be, and you get crippled pretty easily, so you tend to get shit on traversing the wastes and have to limp back to a doctor to get healed. Hardcore mode is still fun regardless, and it makes Fallout 3's food and water items useful and makes the main quest more sensible and relatable. Still, it is quite fun being able to play Fallout 3 with New Vegas' mechanics and you can retroactively use its mods as well, but it crashes so much and it seems the longer you play the less stable it is.
Played through Honest Hearts and OWB for the first time. For 5 euros, Honest Hearts is kinda cool but it's REALLY light on content. Wouldn't be that much of a problem if it wasn't also kind of blandypants. It doesn't do much with its Burned Man premise and it doesn't really have anything memorable. That said, it's still at least worth playing. OWB on the other hand is awesome. Every single character is either a joy to listen to, amazingly written or both. Bit short but if you ask me, that's balanced out by everything else. My god, I don't think I've ever had this many laughs in Fallout.
Hunting Rifle with AP rounds basically kills anything if you have GUNS 100 and also crit bonus perks and stuff.
Any gun is good with crit bonus perks.
Any gun is good with crit bonus perks.
It was even better in fallout 1&2, where better crits meant your crits always ignored armour, and have a 20% chance of instant death on anything.
I want speech crits that can blow up people's minds.
I want speech crits that can blow up people's minds.
Not as good as plinking enclave dudes in advanced power armour until you get that kill shot with a .357 revolver [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] Side note, luck min-maxing is the only way to play
.22lr silenced pistol or go home, man! Haha.
Wasn't in FO1/2
I want speech crits that can blow up people's minds.
There's a perk that lets you do exactly that in More Perks for New Vegas
Faction armor is such a massive pain in the ass. I'm at camp Golf, and everyone's treating me like shit cause I'm wearing Ranger armor. But when I take it off "OH HOLY SHIT COURIER I DIDN'T RECOGNIZE YOU UNDER THAT COAT" [editline]10th December 2013[/editline] Seriously, I'm IDOLIZED by the NCR, and yet if I'm wearing a duster, I might as well be John Smith to them since they have no clue. As for that matter, why do I never get recruited into the NCR ever
