http://archive.foolz.us/v/thread/222103021/
To the end of my days I will live on happily knowing something I wrote was funny enough to be archived. Also, no one will ever believe me.

it's honestly kind of heartwarming I was honestly just super bored and was playing NV all day and thought the world around the courier was funny Now, I've milked this too much and I'm sorry for milking it as much as I have, I'll smile, save the image, and enjoy the collaboration I also wrote the one about Patrolling the mojave for nuclear winter and the Legionary at nipton :v:
why is honest hearts so short I just started and I'm done
How long did it take?
Found two screenshots of Fallujah 3 for you guys: Yeah, I hacked in stimpaks to survive the Capitol. Ammo's what I gathered from the sheer fucking mound of dead Muties, though.
I think lonesome road is the only story dlc I like for the sole fact that you're not trapped there until you complete the main quest line. I feel like being trapped in the dlc made them feel forced and afterwards I don't want to return to get items I missed.
Wanting to play Fallout New Vegas but not being able to cope with the old engine after playing Skyrim for so long.
I love FO3, but I keep losing interest because I can never find enough ammo and end up getting fucking destroyed by talon comp mercs with FWE installed.
the DLC's for new Vegas are really good ideas, and I honestly think the storylines for each are great but I think they all fall short Dead Money is flat out too hard. The golden ending is bullshit to get since apparently Barter will make Dean Domino die. OWB is funny and an episode of the Venture Brothers, and is more or less the best one. A little hard on guns players but fuck them. Honest Hearts has a compelling story and the most interesting NV personality (Graham) but is over before you can fully load your gun. Graham having next to no dialogue about the Legion is heartbreaking. Lonesome Road is a cool little narrative, but I don't like it writing up a whole backstory for the Courier and asking me to feel sad about somehting I had no hand in.

It actually felt like a challenge compared to the rest of FNV which is either baby easy or bullet sponge "difficulty"
Wanting to play Fallout New Vegas but not being able to cope with the old engine after playing Skyrim for so long.
Wanna play FO3 but it is so prone to crashes/bugs(with a few mods) And the fact that I already know most of the map EVEN after not playing it for like 1.5 years. I played it to death on console(I am guessing like 300-350 hours on FO3 and like about half on F:NV). C'mon Bethesa, new fallout please.
I really don't get people who think Dead Money is too hard It's a pain in the ass on Hardcore, but otherwise it's fine. Unless you're really stupid and enter the DLCs at a low level with shit skills. And I found the main appeal of the DLCs was the multitude of small, nearly one-off stories that abound. The Survivalist in particular is the best thing about Honest Hearts, and that's just some terminal notes and a skeleton.
the thread was automatically archived I'm p sure
shhhhhhh let me have my victory we both know this is the biggest thing I'll ever do in my life

The story is about how Ulysses was unable to learn the lessons of the mistakes made in Zion, the Sierra Madre, and Big MT. Ulysses is the opposite of the Courier, he comes from a tribe conquered by the Legion where you come from the NCR, he goes to the DLC areas looking for answers when you go there just because you can, he is absolutely consumed by his obsession with the past while you have no real past to speak of not that you care about.
Thanks for clearing that up. I only ever played Lonesome Road at release, never again. I'll run through it again today maybe? I remember being irked with it how they sort of retconned how my Courier lived there more or less I was playing an energy weapons character so I had imagined him as some sort of scientist who took the Platinum chip job for a free pass to New Vegas
How long did it take?
He probably did like that one other dude in the thread and killed Follows-Chalk accidentally.
He probably did like that one other dude in the thread and killed Follows-Chalk accidentally.
I got sassy with Daniel and was forced to murder him when he attacked me Mormons are sensitive

It used to be a route from the NCR into the Mojave.

My opinion is universal
I'm surprised Someguy2000 leaving NV modding recently hasn't been bought up, yet. He was the guy who made New Vegas Bounties l/ll and was in the process of making another mod (Siege of Firebase Zulu) that I was helping him out with before he up and announced he was departing. He left because of the Fo4 ARG. This was before it turned out to be a hoax. I haven't heard anything from him since.
I really didn't find Dead Money too hard at all. It actually felt like a challenge compared to the rest of FNV which is either baby easy or bullet sponge "difficulty"
I can attest to this; even though it was very much Battle Royale with the bomb collars, they did create a kind of tension. Sneaking around an abandoned villa and casino, butt clenching with anxiety when you hear your collar beeping, frantically looking around for speakers or radios, though I do not appreciate the bulletproof speakers. Wasn't able to convince Dean to stand down, though; damn schmuck didn't know when to let go, so I had to Mauler him with my Knife Spear then peg it to the exit. God/Dog was another matter entirely; I didn't have any Stealth Boys to let me sneak about with impunity whilst the dude had an existential crisis, and I tried many times to turn off all the valves before he spotted me and went "ALL FIRE NOW", so I just went up and talked Dog into getting back into "the cage". If I could throw bottles to distract him, I probably woulda succeeded, but nope, the stealth was just a case of Waiting for GodDog when the dumb goit wouldn't go. Still, God was kinda cool with the philosophy about "the cage", though apparently his schizophrenia's a thing that many nightkin go through. Also, back to the collars, when I escaped from the Sierra Madre Vault I was absolutely pegging it and barely had a second, maybe even half, when I got into the elevator. SUCH A RUSH, I didn't even try to confront Father Elijah, left him to die in isolation down in the bowels of that old world tomb, a tomb meant for the beloved of the Sierra Madre's former master, as well as a potential deathtrap for Dean. I left that place behind me; I didn't need to begin again, I just wanted to let go. Really glad that the collar agreed with me as it fell off my neck.
You guys know A place where i can buy mini nukes in NV
You guys know A place where i can buy mini nukes in NV
Your best bet is to visit the Gun Runners (especially if you have GRA installed). Otherwise you might find some commissary terminals that sell them in the Divide. [editline]11th December 2013[/editline] There aren't that many mini nukes in NV
He left because of the Fo4 ARG. This was before it turned out to be a hoax.
Some people will believe anything. In that thread he talks about adapting his mod for Fallout 4 or New Vegas 2 Maybe not jump at every piece of supposed news, even if it is kinda convincing
Still, God was kinda cool with the philosophy about "the cage", though apparently his schizophrenia's a thing that many nightkin go through.
"Apparently"? Have you even been to Jacobstown at any point?
I never found all of Randall Dean's notes in Honest Hearts until this playtrhgouh. Goddamn did that hit me. That's sad as shit.
