About to start a playthrough of TTW. I've played through NV, 3, and a little of TTW, but for this time i'm wondering if there are any nice mods to really mix up the experience a little?

I'm kind of hesitant to start a new playthrough with it though since it seems like 3.0 is going to be a pretty large overhaul of it and I have a feeling its release is coming up pretty soon hopefully maybe but probably not actually but who knows.

I'm playing TTW with it, and it's awesome. Needs more explosives, though.

I just wish it had more unique sounds for the weaponry, a lot of it essentially sounds the same. Other than that it's pretty great.

Just a download page, afaik. They might do updates on Something Awful, but I couldn't tell you. The mod authors post here every now and again though, I think.

No news page. Just whatever I choose let loose either here or on SA. And yeah, aiming for a pretty soonish release of 3.0. But I wouldn't be holding my breath either.

As for the custom sounds comment, we don't really bother with them. We made the custom sound entries so someone could easily make a sound pack if they wanted to but it was never really a goal of TA to provide sounds for all the weapons either. The sound pack we did make was a sample/demonstration that nobody did anything with, sadly.
