If skyrim is anything to go by, bethesda has learned some from past games. The next fallout will probably allow us to completely replace animations.
Telling details from fallout 1 and 2 to people who have only played 3 or new vegas always gets a chuckle out of me. My friends no longer use Jet. I'm gonna leave it at that.
Apparently it's like jenkem only derived from brahmin fed on meth. YECH! I'm sticking to Sugar Bombs from now on.

my characters are always high on psycho
So I got FCO but wasn't satisfied with how Boone looked so I changed it. Opinions? [t]http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/1bd1/ohc3ht1hx8131sxfg.jpg?size_id=8[/t]
my characters are always high on psycho
I always hoard chems, but never use them I currently have 30 med-x, 90 psycho, 25 mentats and 12 turbos.

[t]http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/1bd1/ohc3ht1hx8131sxfg.jpg?size_id=8[/t]
Because of his voice actor, I've always thought of Boone as a young, but mentally troubled individual, who had true love in his sights ([sp]literally till the end too. :v:[/sp]), and then was taken away from him, and now, still young and eager, meets the Courier, who gives him enough drive to go back out there and kick the Legion's psuedo-Roman asses. Besides that fact Boone is 24 and he looks like a 40 year-old in that picture. Make Boone look 24. You could make the nostrils more apparent and the eyes less open. Also needs his sunglasses back. Wait the fuck I realized what I just posted. Sounds a little [t]http://www.facepunch.com/fp/ratings/rainbow.png[/t]. Still keeping it though
I'm gonna go ahead and ask again if there are any particular mods you recommend for Fallout 3?
I didn't take away his sunglasses, I just removed them in that pic so you could see everything better.

Also I like to think of Boone as a rugged guy, being a sniper isn't all peaches and cream, the stress should have taken a bit of a toll on him.
is there a lore friendly outfit pack that is popular?

Despite what Boone looks like, that face mod is one of my favorites; its like a whole new game, I can actually talk to people and take them seriously now, I don't have to suffer through potato faces When I installed that mod I fast traveled to several places just to oggle at how not fucking disgusting everybody's face was
Best tip for fallout 1 and 2. Double click to move when not in combat. You run instead of walking.
There's also a setting in the options to have your character always run.

Then I end up with black people with white faces and black hands, or HD faces on vanilla bodies making weird complexion.

So here I am, 30 days before game over, brotherhood wants me to do some quest in the Glow, bring something back. I decided 'why not' and hop on over, 18 days. I see nothing but an angry gaping hole in the ground. After inspecting the bodies and steering clear of the irradiated hole, I remember what I was told here. "Thinking-man's game". I was like "Ohhh, radiation. I can bring that back!" And so I did. Turns out it has to be a physical object, not a clever work-around. At this rate, I may as well start over.
I've heard so many stories of people playing the classic Fallouts thanks to gog and jsut being so confused it's endearing
I'm amazed how easily I managed to pick up on everything. The writing really doesn't babysit you, and I am sure it helps a lot that i read the timeline before, but even the first time you encounter Super Mutants or Ghouls your guy doesn't even bother to ask why they are weird. The Vault Dweller just kind of accepts shit without needing an explanation. I am also amazed how fun it is. I thought I wouldn't have the patience (like I said, I was raised on Call of Dudebro shooters) but I am finding it to be immensely fun. I bought them about 3 or so years ago because I liked 3 and hated them because I was still an impatient console dweller, but I have come to love them even more than 3 in some respects. New Vegas is still the best, though.
progress report on the no-save challenge had to restart due to dying to deckard & co once, and to unlucky radscorpion hits once ian died to some radscorpions but I picked up dogmeat and I'm currently in the Hub entered with 15 stimpacks and 4000 caps, currently at 9000 caps, 100 stimpacks, and enough 5mm & 12 gauge ammo to last the entire game. equipped with spiked knuckles, metal armor, combat shotgun, assault rifle and .223 pistol I think it's time to head to necropolis and finish the challenge
So today I decided to see what's on the East bank of the Colorado. Never again.
how easy it is to mod for NV? I would like to mod this mask into the game from here; http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39336/? It uses a generic hood from the game and one of the masks from the mod, but the creator never implemented it and gave up on the project. I've always loved Venetian carnival, and the masks fit into the theme of Ultra-Luxe and White Glove Society.

Otherwise you've got a challenge
I believe it is, I don't think it was just put into the game itself.
