Fallout 3 just ate all my saves. They're still in the folder, but the game seems to be completely ignoring them. Anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

You just need to run the game without GFWL I think, and the saves will be back. [editline]27th May 2013[/editline] The game keeps GFWL saves in a separate folder than normal saves, so if you are signed into GFWL, your saves will be "gone".

There's been a script extender for every Bethesda game since Oblivion and they all work. It's not going to delete your files and make your computer explode.

I'm just asking if there's a way of doing it that doesn't involve downloading the file. If you need a third party program to get the game to work properly, Bethesda did something wrong.

C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves You move your saves from your GFWL account folder to that location then you can just continue with FOSE working

Just roll with it for fuck's sake, it won't eat your files and melt your screen. And there's a ton of great mods that need FOSE. Annd GFWL sucks so you should get rid of it anyway even if you didn't have a problem with saves.

I can't figure out how though, and Google is providing no solutions to the problem. Any advice on how to do this?

You literally [i]can't[/i] run the game without GFWL, though, unless you're using FOSE. It won't let you.

I got everything I need to install TTW but I'm wondering if I should wait for the next release or go ahead with 2.2a version. Decisions, decisions.
