and legion gives you excuse to kill everyone
Do you need excuses to kill someone?
It's just that the Legion will fall apart pretty soon after Caesar dies.
I don't really like cosplaying as a legionnaire anyway. Hating technology like awesome gauss rifles is enough to make them flawed.

Now all you need is a proper sound pack that plays Demoman quips, taunts and whatnot when appropriate.
that kinda makes me want to make a pyro character to airblast your bombs
Now I want to do TF2 runs featuring all of the classes. Need to make some soundpacks!
Fallout 3 just ate all my saves. They're still in the folder, but the game seems to be completely ignoring them.
Anyone tell me what's going on and how to fix it?

I had this exact same problem. It has to do with GFWL, but I can't remember how I fixed it. You just need to run the game without GFWL I think, and the saves will be back.

The game keeps GFWL saves in a separate folder than normal saves, so if you are signed into GFWL, your saves will be "gone".

Forgive my ignorance, but what is GFWL? I only just bought the game a few weeks ago.

Games for Windows Live.

Specific instructions on deactivation?
I think FOSE (Fallout Script Extender) disables GFWL.
I don't really get it why some people side with the Legion.
I mean, it's a group of tribal Roman cosplayers who orbit some bald ex-Follower's dick.
Once Caesar dies, pretty much every legionary will likely go apeshit and the whole faction will splinter like a dead man's last shitsession.
Caeser says to the player that the reason why he created the legion is because he believes the only way to restore order is with violence -- kinda like Rome.

You think.
Is there a way of doing it that doesn't involve downloading files that I've never heard of, files that aren't even guaranteed to work?
I said I think because I haven't used FOSE in years and couldn't remember if it did or not.
* FOSE is incompatible with Windows Live, so when running via fose_loader.exe, Live will be disabled.
FOSE does work, it's used for a lot of mods to do things that the game itself can't do. There's been a script extender for every Bethesda game since Oblivion and they all work. It's not going to delete your files and make your computer explode.
I'm just asking if there's a way of doing it that doesn't involve downloading the file.
If you need a third party program to get the game to work properly, Bethesda did something wrong.
C:\Users\Name\Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves
You move your saves from your GFWL account folder to that location then you can just continue with FOSE working

They're already in that file. And I've already told you, I'd rather not use that file if possible.

You're saying that like you was surprised a Bethesda game needed some third party stuff to run right. Just roll with it for fuck's sake, it won't eat your files and melt your screen.
And there's a ton of great mods that need FOSE.
Annd GFWL sucks so you should get rid of it anyway even if you didn't have a problem with saves.

Sure, New Vegas doesn't have Horses, but it's about 90% desert, so it works.

GTA:SA was a good game, i say that because this song is in GTA:SA

I've done some reading and come to the conclusion that it would be much simpler to just get rid of GFWL entirely, wipe it off of the hard drive. I can't figure out how though, and Google is providing no solutions to the problem. Any advice on how to do this?

I think you can deinstall it from the Control Panel, and then do a system search for Games For Windows Live and delete the remainders into oblivion. You literally can't run the game without GFWL, though, unless you're using FOSE. It won't let you.

Wow.
I got everything I need to install TTW but I'm wondering if I should wait for the next release or go ahead with 2.2a version. Decisions, decisions.

I doubt it'll come out soon enough to warrant waiting. I'd just go ahead and install 2.2.
Wow.
dude just install FOSE it let's you play tons of good mods and it disables GWFL there's literally no downside.
Wow.
Just get FOSE. We all run it. You need it to make the good mods work anyway.

Go ahead with 2.2a.
im so shit at being an evil character. i always feel so freaking bad after everything.
Veronica "lets go see my family :):)"
caesar "kill them all pls"
the conflict inside me..
Well the Brotherhood are kinda dickish so its not that hard :v:
They're only rude as a rule if you show up without Veronica.
So I was playing New Vegas and I managed to take a screenshot that makes for a pretty neat wallpaper.

I also made a texture replacer for the Sunset Sarsaparilla machines :v:
