The only thing that was right in that game was the atmosphere and Bethesda nailed it so good that it remains one of the best games of all time.

As for the Dead Money DLC for New Vegas? It's the opposite. Good characters and writing ruined by confusing level design and unbalanced enemies/equipment. Then again, everything is subjective when criticizing video games. Except for the technical issues. Bethbryo games have a lot of them.

You really oughta be able to just send in Fawkes in vanilla though, and have the endgame say something like "well look at this smart motherfucker - place is full of radiation, so what's he do? sends in the guy who's immune to it". Like, I get what Beth was trying to do, put in a heroic sacrifice sort of thing at the end, but come the fuck on.[/sp]

There's a strange thing going on with my New Vegas and Fallout 3 Mod Managers. Every time I (un)tick something, the thing crashes for no reason. Explanation? It's never done this before.

remember when you see the flash duck and cover, to protect you eyes from the blinding flash and your body from flying debris, then proceed to your nearest fallout shelter. also if you are a soldier, do not worry about the radiation risks, if you are experiencing fatal amounts of radiation you will be killed anyways from flying debris.
