If you kill Caesar, Boone tells you how one of his sons'll take over. It won't end the Legion although it'll most likely weaken it a fair amount.
Problem is most of the legion is following Caeser, not the Legion. Caeser falls so will the legion. Caeser's successor, most likely Lanius, won't be able to keep it under control for more than a few years before it collapses in on itself.
Well if you were like me I didn't pick up anything I killed I usually just killed the enemies and just left. So I was pretty broke in my first play through.
You could also get like 80 science and talk to the Securitron to get in free.
I usually rob the Silver Rush. Toss on a stealth boy, which is piss easy to have at that point if you do Come Fly With Me beforehand, and Gloria literally can't see you right in front of her face as her wares vanish into thin air. Head to Gun Runners, sell everything, whammo 2 grand and a bit more.
Wastelanders really should reconsider their economy and currency choices. Seriously, bottlecaps? Would you count each individual cap out, or would you have sacks of them bundled in tens and hundreds and the like? Do you keep these thousands of caps in your Gameplay-Convenient Black Hole Storage Container, or your Enchanted Anus of Holding?
I recall the only mention of bottle caps externally aside from them being a form of currency was that Chalk guy from Honest Hearts saying something like "Why do you carry all those bottle caps around? They jangle like crazy." Why is he the only person able to hear this literal sound of money? I imagine having tens of thousands of small pieces of metal clacking around in a bag would greatly reduce any chances of sneaking undetected. Might as well just roll a grenade into a room that explodes confetti and blares the sound of trumpets before a recorded message says "Hello, I am actively trying to kill you while remaining hidden. Please stand still while I attempt to end your lives silently."
The NCR really are being sensible with trying to enforce paper money. The Legion might as well be using caps if all they have are coins, though at least the coins have different cap values, unlike a single cap being just that, a single cap.
You're picking nits over the practicality of bottlecaps as currency while ignoring how we can store several rifles, a hoard of pistols, two missile launchers, a tactical nuclear catapult, hundreds of stims, hundreds of thousands of rounds of ammo for all those weapons, a case of sarsparilla, half a liquor store, enough C4 to crack Hoover Dam and god knows what else in our back pocket without slowing down or getting tired?
:v:
How nice. Someone replaced the original watermark by a link to a shitty 9gag like website.

Bottle caps in NCR controlled territory and nearby regions are actually only a recent development. The brotherhood destroyed the NCR's gold reserves, so their money ended up being based on water - this severly reduced the value of NCR dollars. After this, The Hub (Which is basically the entire wasteland economy's central.) decided to convince the NCR to instigate caps as the main form of currency until they sort their shit out.
arcade pls, you're a damn researcher at the followers yet you think you'll sunburn inside a building.
Anyone got any good FO3 armor packs for facial/head armor?
awkward zombie is a funny webcomic though....
I have been confused since I first started reading the webcomic and still have absolutely no idea as to the answer to this but is the author male or female because I have no idea.

He's being sarcastic, removing the watermark of the person who made it and sticking your own on is a cunt move.

Female.
Can anyone point me in the direction of the F:NV mod that incorporated all the weapons from the previous fallout games?
Playing on HC, went to bed, when I woke up, Victor insta scared the living shit out of me.

I never actually talked to Victor.

Reminds me of Mister Sandman's timeless Fallout 3 post. "I don't like surprises"
The human spider physics glitch occurred to me for the first time today, the guy died on a platform quite high above the ground too so I could enjoy watching it in all it's glory.

It's a girl and she looks EXACTLY how she draws herself.
It's uncanny.

"Looks like you're in trouble now, friend."
I wish we can join enclave in fallout 3 :(
is there enclave in Fallout New Vegas?
You can help out the remnants of the Enclave.
i hope the next fallout has more armor and not just "body" "eyes" "head"
hell, i'd be fine with something like skyrim with just head, arms, body, legs.
Hey anyone else run into this problem with Tale of Two Wastelands? I just got back into playing it and now I can't recruit any companions because it says i have one with me already. I definitely don't have one with me and used the dismiss companions terminal at the Lucky 88 but it still says I have a companion already with me.

You have someone waiting in DC somewhere. The Lucky 38/Gun Runners fire terminal doesn't seem to see the DC companions for some reason so it won't fire them.
If I were you I'd just install the unlimited companions mod and shrug.

Fallout does support those things already. They're just not used by default. Crack open the GECK and open up any random piece of apparel, you'll see about 20 or so different bodygroups to which you can attach something. Most clothing/armor mods that add accessories take advantage of these normally unused slots. Tailor Maid, for example.

are there any mods that actually change the way that clothing works though? like, split all the default armors and such into those bodygroups, rather than just use the bodygroups to add on accessories to default armors
Doing it morrowind style would be awesome. I love the pauldrons on the leather armor.

I don't know. There's nothing stopping them though, the game supports it by default.
are there any mods for fo3 or nv that improve gunplay?
Anyone got any good FO3 armor packs for facial/head armor?
Re-requesting.
Man, this game is cool. Can't remember why I haven't completed a playthrough on PC yet. Oh hey, there's a freeze. That's okay, single line in fallout.ini fixes it. Hey, a similar freeze. And it won't stop. And I have to reboot to close FO3.
I REMEMBER NOW!
Project Brazil beta is out
