Which mods would you recommend in terms of giving more quests? Also are there any mods that boost the level cap or give more skills?
Start out with New Vegas Bounties and other Someguy quest mods. Inconsistent in their quality but fun nonetheless.
Got the bionic eyes implant, and I have to say i'm really impressed. The thermal vision in particular works remarkably well. I remember vision modes in FO3 were not particularly good, so either something's changed in the engine, or it's simply been improved on.
It's a sad day, FO1, 2 and Tactics have been removed from the GOG catalogue.
[sp]The villa area was repetitive and the hologram/radio gimmick got tiresome after the first half hour. The story also didn't pick up fast enough though when it did it was okay.[/sp] Overall a boring experience I probably won't go through with again. You're t he first one I've heard that actually likes it :v:
I loved it. Dialogues, atmosphere and all that were great in my opinion. My only problem is that it's too damn easy on hardest difficulty and hardcore mode.

I can only afford 2 DLC packs for FONV, which ones should I get?
One of them HAS to be OWB.
And the Lonesome Road always has to be the last one
Definitely not Dead Money, the whole collar and speakers thing gets really fucking tiring after the first hour Not really a fan of the holograms either, how DARE they give us an enemy you can't kill, that's basically all my character does
I always found Honest Hearts a bit dull, it was more of a "go here, get X, go somewhere else, get another X"
Here's the real question, isn't it? Honest Hearts or Dead Money besides buying Old World Blues.
did you just say it's too easy
Defiantly ain't hard.
It's a sad day, FO1, 2 and Tactics have been removed from the GOG catalogue.
I should have downloaded them when I had the chance. Darn it.
I can only afford 2 DLC packs for FONV, which ones should I get?
Old World Blues and Lonesome Road
Defiantly ain't hard.
It ain't hard if you're a level 50 lord of the death lords most important person of extreme death lords to the max!
Old World Blues and Lonesome Road
Except Lonesome Road makes everything else look pointless plotwise
I always found Honest Hearts a bit dull, it was more of a "go here, get X, go somewhere else, get another X"
The whole idea of the DLC was a really neat concept, but the execution just felt... blah.
Don't get Lonesome Road if you're still planning to play other dlc. First merge break. Yay? Or maybe it wasn't. Can't recall.
Here's the real question, isn't it? Honest Hearts or Dead Money besides buying Old World Blues.
Honest Hearts. For as short as it was, I found it to be the most fun, especially if you go into it with almost nothing on your back.
I'm considering getting Fallout 3 and using TTW, how exactly does it work? Can I run through all the quests and stuff with my New Vegas character or is it just a big empty wasteland(heh)?
I'm considering getting Fallout 3 and using TTW, how exactly does it work? You begin a TTW game as the Lone Wanderer in FO3 and later get a train ticket to New Vegas, where you have become the Courier. Basically, you have Fallout 3 in its entirety but with the added bonus of NV's perks, weapons, and upgraded crafting system, as well as the ability to travel between wastelands. I don't think it's compatible with an already-existing character, but I'm not certain.
On the subject of NV DLC, I enjoy playing them chronologically. DM -> HH (optional, if you wish) -> OWB -> LR
You can do everything in Fallout 3 and vice versa, but it starts with Fallout 3's Vault sequence
They removed the option to start as the Courier? When it was Requiem for the Capital Wasteland you got a broken options screen which for some reason had the camera placed in the lobby at Hoover Dam.

Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics on sale for in a bundle for $5. Not like I wanted to be productive for a few months, anyways.
Starting as the courier breaks many FO3 quests so until they can fix it you'll have to suffer through the vault start
which ones? i just went to dc on a fnv character, and did quests n' stuff, so i don't know what you mean
