Sometimes NPCs will mess up their weapon drawing animations so much that I get distracted and then they manage to get a shot off on me. Gamebryo has implemented feints through bug :v:
So since there are no good alternate start mods (IMO) for fallout 3 I want to have a go at making my own. Does anyone know where I would even start? I know how to edit scrips and items and the world etc but how do I basically interrupt the main quest and make my stuff happen when you click "New"? Anyone know? I tried to find a script or something that is run when a new game starts but I cant find one. Edit: Think I found it. Seems to be quest CG00 and script CG00SCRIPT.
earlier about automatic weapons, i dunno, i find the minigun satisfying with bloody mess
earlier about automatic weapons, i dunno, i find the minigun satisfying with bloody mess
Miniguns and gatling lasers are kind of an exception because their fire rate is so high and unlike assault rifles they don't have a tiny pause between each bullet as the gun recoils.
Can someone please explain why weapons that use backpacks are straight fucked in new vegas? literally every time I used a weapon that gives you a backpack it always fucks up and glitches out, even on straight up vanilla new vegas, is there a mod to fix this or something?
I just discovered the Fallout film treatment from 1998. My god this is awful. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_film_treatment Now that Fallout's a big name again, we're probably going to see shit like this again one day.
i doubt it, the book of eli is as close to a fallout film as we'll probably get for a while.
Mad Max?
Australian Fallout.
i doubt it, the book of eli is as close to a fallout film as we'll probably get for a while.
Thanks of reminding me, desnsel washington makes anything good.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/0nqp9Z6.png[/t] using the mod for TTW that makes the lone wanderer's dialogue options look more something the courier would say...
I hate how the Lone Wanderer's dialogue feels so tame compared to the Courier's. It's from jesus on earth to cartoony evil unlike where the Courier feels like you're punisher anti-hero at best or an evil asshole overlord who doesn't take shit from nobody.

I started playing New Vegas, since I hadn't in a while. So I got to the character creation and I fucked it up. The result of that was Gemini Dingle, gigolo extraordinaire. So uh, I've been living it up in DC and all but I seem to be picking up a lot of followers. So far I've got Sydney, Dr. Lee, some scientist dude and a couple random brotherhood guys following me everywhere I go. At this rate I'll be the largest faction in the wasteland by the time I reach Vegas :v: [editline]10th January 2014[/editline] Oh and also the entire interior of the citadel has disappeared and now everyone there is just standing in huddle

I do remember in Fo3 when you get captured by the enclave and you say to the officer "Fuck you" and then "No seriously, fuck you" Best bit of dialogue in the whole game
You don't need the Perk Every Level mod. You can change it in Project Nevada by using the MCM. That could be causing a conflict.
But it isn't. I've been using Perk Every Level since the beginning of time and never turned it off when I got PN a few months ago. PN didn't care. I doubt it ever will unless you also turn on its perk every level function, which I didn't.

What point in the story would you guys reccomend playing the FO3 DLCs?
Got a link for it?
http://taleoftwowastelands.com/content/lone-courier-fallout-unity-dialog-enhancements-102
What point in the story would you guys reccomend playing the FO3 DLCs?
FWE makes it so that they're available after you rendezvous with dad, so I guess around that time. Try Anchorage first for the good items and then finish the main storyline before you do Point Lookout. Broken Steel will probably be up by the time you get round to playing Zeta. I'd recommend skipping The Pitt, though. Barely any worthwhile loot unless you're a melee user and really grueling gameplay.
Got the mobile truck base mod, looks promising but sadly I can't use it because everything says "children can't use this" I can't even fuel it or turn on the lights Guessing its the robot race mod, tried using console to change my age but it didn't work
So since I forgot to check in last time when I asked [sp]Whatever to go with Casear or House?[/sp] so do I ask it again, sorry.
Go House. Ceasar set up a legion who follow him, once he dies the legion will turn on itself. House doesn't give a shit who follows him, as long as they stay out of his way. Also House is a cooler dude.

The Lone Wanderer's knowledge of good and bad comes from a sheltered life in the vault so it's gonna be as goofy as Butch and the Tunnel Snakes, while the Courier has spent his whole life in an dangerous job in what is probably one of the most empty parts of the wasteland, and so has a bit more grit or whatever to him/her.
