I was like "WHYY? WHYY I DID THIS?" when i noticed that most of my stuff were more durable with him on my party after he left because i had to take that fucking stupid dog as companion to fix it for some quest
you shouldn't be playing new vegas without the patch that fixes that really
Some people play on console and can't use mods.
Some people play on console and can't use mods.
I'm so sorry.
how can you still play this game on console, just go pick a random page off of fallout wiki and look at the still existing bugs at the bottom of the page
[editline]14th January 2014[/editline]
siera madre, and old world blues were the best 2 DLCs for fallout, lonesome road was good too being able to fight with ED-E and having all those new ranger outfits but it wasn't really fun otherwise
i wish i had taken the knock down perk before, now with this spear and my strength augmented its like playing baseball with these ghosts

Not all of us can afford gaming PCs.
Not all of us can afford gaming PCs.
you must be pretty poor then
Especially for fallout
I had a GT220 that could run fallout modded, your computer must be from 1995 if you can't even run it on low
I had a GT220 that could run fallout modded, your computer must be from 1995 if you can't even run it on low
I personally can but I get like 10 fps :v: goddamn I need to get a decent pc finally

I have a GT220 at the moment, but every mod loaded is less than 2 MB in size though. It has a bit of stuttering though at random intervals.
Do any of you play Fallout with a Controller, I personally fine fallout to be Borderline Unplayable with a controller
I can't play without a controller
That don't really make no sense.
So I blew up the Brotherhood just like House told me to but I kinda want them back without having to revert to a save 10 levels below me? Like can I reset the quest or something?
I don't have a dedicated video card, but New Vegas still runs well enough to play it.
Unless you have a toaster, you should be able to run it. And if you do have a toaster, well at least you can run the original Fallouts.
Do any of you play Fallout with a Controller, I personally fine fallout to be Borderline Unplayable with a controller
Why would you fine fallout for such a reason? Assuming you're playing it on pc.
The one thing the console version of the game does that I preferred was switching ammo. Pressing up on the d-pad was really convenient. Why would you make the 2 key be switch ammo? If it were up to me switch ammo would be like F or something so I could have 1-0 be quick select keys rather than:
Pistol - Switch Ammo - Rifle - Shotgun - Silenced Weapon - (5-8 being stimpacks and shit)
If you're crashing on startup it's probably because you're using FCO - Fook-PN Convergence FCO.esp which requires the Fook-Project Nevada convergence mod, which you don't have, and in my opinion should use. Read through the instructions for the convergence mod as it has a detailed section on load order as well as suggestions for mods to use alongside it (ie: using WMXUE, instead of WMX)
Once you do that, delete FCO - FOOK Patch.esp as the FOOK-PN Convergence patch for FCO already covers it. Also, there's a more updated version of this patch that you can get here, delete the old one.
As for the rest of your load order, I would reorganize things like this, obviously everyone has their own take on load orders and someone else may have a different opinion.

Thanks mate, you really helped me out. The game looks and runs fantastically!
Are there any other "must have" mods for FO3 apart from Fellout?

I really, REALLY like the redo on this. For some reason it just feels so much better than the original NCR outfits.

I like the Flora Overhaul set to heavy forest, I haven't tested it but I'm sure Fallout Char Overhaul works with FWE, DC interiors is always nice. I think there's A World of Pain for FO3 but again unsure on compatibility status (though I doubt it would be incompatible)

[editline]15th January 2014[/editline]
Wow, that Flora overhaul looks sweet
So how buggy is the current version of Tale of Two Wastelands? Is there a chance it could run on my laptop (which can run vanilla NV on low/med settings)?
I'd say it's pretty good, but the installation process might assfuck you.
Not all of us can afford gaming PCs.
I know a really low-middle-class guy who bought and installed a bunch of decent cheap PC parts and can play Skyrim just fine.

Playing with these mods at the moment and the game is totally different! Holy shit, only ever really played vanilla (both on pc and xbox) and never thought of how good fallout NV could really be. I've been in three major firefights at the moment and each have been way more exciting than vanilla. I fought off the powder gangers, killed all of the gangers in Primm and then fought my way to Beagle (who died in the crossfire). The increased spawns means there are more enemies, world of pain means they are stronger and more varied and project nevada adds in some awesome FPS bits.
At the moment I'm having a blast. Sure I'm chugging stimpacks and have fuck all ammo, but it really is fun. Can anyone suggest any more mods to add to the mix to make it more fun? My computer is beginning to stutter a little bit and just crashed after about 2 1/2 hours play, but I'm sure there is other cool stuff to add!
Get NPCs Travel, Better New Vegas, NV Interiors, FOOK and NPC Project for some additions to gameplay.
Make sure you get the FOOK-PN convergence patches. You'll also have to tinker with outsidebets to get it to play nice with the 188 Trading Post version of NPC Project.
Gotta love mods.

It's a perk, I think it's called Living Anatomy or something along those lines. Needs a high medicine skill.
Edit: Yep, that's what it's called.
