Meh, I don't think all quests should have a way to complete them. You should have to make hard decisions morally about the quests you're involved in. I wanted to storm in there and kill the Van Graffs and the trading company, but I stepped back from the scene and realized it would be better to ruin them politically. Thats what I liked about a lot of quests in NV, there was never really a 'good guy' option and a 'bad guy' option.

Especially with House and the BOS.
Cass is an alright companion but has less useful perks than others, but she has a better aim with her gun than Boone.
Could you zip up all of your enb files (even unchanged ones)? I'd like to see if that works, as i've exhausted every other option so far bar writing one from scratch.
EDIT: Your game's .inis would also be useful.
Alright, here it is. There's no way it could go wrong now, is there. Not sure which files you mean with game ini's though?

her wiskey perks are actually somewhat useful, also she has a good weapon and uses it instead of like veronica who just likes to walk infront of your machine gun
Started a new game in New Vegas, headed straight to Gun Runners, and I saw this weird light in the distance. Went over to investigate and uh

I don't remember that being there before.

Something happened to me last Thursday when I was driving home. I had a couple of miles to go - I looked up and saw a glowing orange object in the sky, to the east! It was moving very irregularly... suddenly there was intense light all around me - and when I came to, I was in Vegas. What do you think happened to me?

Must be something i've changed in my ini or you've changed in yours at this point.
FalloutDefault.ini in your game's main folder (normally this isn't changed, but mine is); FalloutPrefs.ini and Fallout.ini in the saves/configs folder. Mine are heavily modified by a config optimisation mod (meant to squeeze as much performance out as possible while further improving graphics)

That having been said, ENB seems to completely and utterly break night vision effects, so i'm no longer going to continue trying to get it to work on my end.
Man, I took a break from NW while I was in the middle of Dead Money DLC.
But now I thought I'd made some progress so I loaded and gave myself a Sawed-Off Shotgun and ammo through the console. Basically I said "FUCK YOU" to the ghost people because I had gotten enough of them.
They take so much damage, like inhumane amounts, but with the knockback perk for the shotgun and just blasting them execution style on the ground, it's satisfying as fuck.
Plus the perk she gives you that grants you immunity to Whiskey withdrawal symptoms is god-tier
I didn't think of it as being "either a companion or energy weapons", I just fucking hated the Van Graffs.

That DLC got very samey and boring after the first hour, I grew very tired of sneaking around the villa fighting respawning ghosts, I got even more tired of that goddamn collar and its bullshit beeping when I couldn't even see the speaker that was about to kill me
Speakers + holograms in some places were the absolute worst, I do not regret cheating through most of the rooms and missions
Honest Hearts is the only DLC I haven't played yet even though I have them all, I remember going to do it before and getting told I needed to empty some of the crap out of my inventory, then I replied "how about I keep all my guns and you suck a dick" and left then never went back
Maybe one day
HH is very, very short for what it is.

Dead Money did one good thing for me though, it made me love the Hunting Shotgun.
Dead Money is my favourite DLC.
The linearity and maze-like design of the villa can be a tad frustrating at times but I never once had a problem with the speakers. If you hear beeping, back up until it stops, look for the written clues on the wall ("tick tick tick" for example) that usually have an arrow leading to the speaker or the glaring blue/red light, have a look for a terminal that might disable them or just charge in and pop the damn thing before it pops you.
However, the areas in the vault with all the catwalks where most of the speakers were close together, forcing you to rush through and avoid gaps and make awkward jumps to get to them in time was a royal pain in my arse because of the games shitty movement and jumping mechanics, that was about the only bit I didn't like.
But that Automatic Rifle though, ooosh
I loved Dead Money for how different it was.
The Sierra Madre Armour, new guns, and the "And Stay Back!" perk are also pretty fucking great.
the AR had too small of a clip and was kinda crippled by its horrible inaccuracy in vanilla game. WMX added mods that basically fixed its RoF, accuracy and clip size to make it actually useful
That fixed the bloom bug very nicely but unfortunately it still doesn't look anywhere near as good as your screenshots :/

You've got all the same files as me, I'm really sorry it doesn't work. And those other ini files, I haven't modified them at all, but I really don't know. I tried. I apologize again.

I found it funny that doing it politically makes their advertising guy turn hostile to you.
I loved Dead Money for how different it was.

That perk is OP as shit, as long as you have enough ammo and can fire faster than the other guy can get up you can 1v1 anything

I'm interested in that car.
this is why I don't like using ENB

same thing with the grass. is there any way to make it look NOT like shit?
I'm interested in that car.
From the Liberty Loft mod, extremely non lore friendly. I keep it so Freeside feels more lively
I'm gonna try and make a Fo3 mod recreating this concept art scene:

I have no idea how to script.
God help us all.

I guess you could look at the Anchorage DLC to get a rough idea for the guys posing over the BOS guy, there's a scene where a few soldiers pose for the Anchorage memorial for a reporter in it
That's my plan. One or two of the slavers will be using the poses while there'll be a fifth guy acting as the photographer using lines from the guy in Anchorage.

You can talk your way into having more room for the trip, and you can leave some other stuff right there in a box.
But I didn't have a problem with that. I was pretty much armed to the teeth as usual when I entered Honest Hearts, meaning Hunting Rifle + revolvers and my preferred apparel easily at least.
Also talk about the Dead Money, I gotta give it to you it's not bad at all as long as you have a Sawed-Off Shotgun to blast those ghost men back to whatever hellhole they came from. In fact now I liked it even more, especially after turning those companions to their stations and having to deal with enemies alone.
[editline]19th January 2014[/editline]
But it is cheating.. just a little bit.
I eventually had enough of Dead Money's bullshit and tcl'd. I still explored lots and really read into the story, but fuck the annoying ghost people. Most annoying enemy I have ever encountered in a videogame. Seriously, having bullet sponges that can really easily end you in a dlc with very limited ammo supplies? That was a bad call. It essentially made some characters (like my energy weapons nerd) unplayable through the dlc.
unarmed is too easy on dead money

uuuuuuuuuh
you do know you get one of the best if not the best energy weapon in the game at the very beginning of DM right

Had the same reaction with a lot of my friends. :v:
